Nice I've been looking at this and the low end vortex spotting scope for some long range shooting. Picked up a delta 5 last year and still haven't settled up my gear to thoroughly enjoy it. Thing shoots factory .5 moa
Take it to the next level and get a Sierra BDX scope from Sig. The two talk to each other and put the hold in your reticle automagically. So easy it feels like cheating. The Kilo5K comes with AB Lite and will give shooting solutions to 800 yards. The 8K & 10K can solve farther out due to better software and environmentals onboard the rangefinders.
I've heard of these a couple years ago that paired with a specific scope and would give the shooting solution in the scope reticle also but I like this also
Nice vid and lots of info. I was about ready to get this one but it only gives you ballistic solutions out to 800 yards without an external ballistic device. Deal breaker!
@KitBader, I looking to get a Sig Kilo Range Finder for bow hunting along side Base Map integration. I would like to use it for long distance shooting, currently only within the 500yrd range, but would like to push 1000 yrds one day. Would the Kilo 3K suffice or do you really need to go to the 5K?
Did you have any experience trying to range targets through small clearings in brush? Been considering this and the leica 2800. Ive heard the sigs have a pretty big beam divergence and has trouble getting through smaller holes in brush.
I do have a question I have the 3k bdx I hooked it up to my phone. I have it 0 at 100 yds in moa so at 100yds it says 0 which fine but when I range it at 50 yds it says go up .5 Moa, why up? shouldn't it be down.
No, because your scope and barrel are not perfectly parallel. Your muzzle is slightly angled up so the bullet is still arcing up. Anything closer that your zero distance will have a point of impact higher than your reticle
You can find the KILO5K 7x24mm Laser Rangefinder here: amzn.to/3dtMfcz
It's an awesome device but too expensive for my needs. I'll stick to my cheap Vortex
What type of rifle/optic/bipod do you have on this video?
Sig has been really impressive the last few years, with all the different products that they have brought to market!! Aaaaaannnnndd Algorithm!
nice little piece of kit! been shooting long-ish range for 2 years, and I'm still missing a LRF, this looks like a good choice.

Very nice!!

Always looks like he's on a studio set of the 70's Land of the Lost kid show. lol
I ranged a moose Sunday at 1800 something yards
Considering a high quality rangefinder to rifle hunt out west and also would like it to be usable for archery hunting.
What is the make and model of watch you are wearing?
Same question
Thanks for your video. May I ask which reticle you are using? From the video, I did not see you dial any holds. Thanks

Have the kilo 5k. Have you used the kilo 3000 or kilo6k binos? I have my 5k paired with a bdx scope. Love the Bluetooth interface

Doing desert brutality this year?
At this point in the range finder game, the Sig Kilo falls short. Other range finders are pulling info atmospherics, the Sig does not.
