For those, who want to make 303 Acid, which actually sounds close to a TB-303 with legit sounding accents and slides, I recommend to use a specialized TB-303 emulation VST like ABL3 by AudioRealism. D16's Phoscyon and the Roland Cloud TB-303 are also really good. Then there are of course hardware clones, which can do the job. Yes, Sylenth 1 is a brilliant synth with a great analog feel to it, and it can be used to create a huge variety of amazing sounds. However, you can not "sound design" a convincing 303, covering the whole spectrum - neither in Sylenth 1 nor in any other multi purpose synth. This is a very specific task, which requires a specialized tool and not a Swiss Army knife. These "make a 303" tutorials are misguiding, because they tell the viewers to use the wrong tools. Unfortunately, UA-camr's are not getting tired posting them. For pretty much every popular synth, there is a 303 tutorial. Posting the correct information in the comments to each of these videos is practically playing UA-cam Whack-A-Mole. - Generally speaking, making a legit 303 sound is super hard. Even some of the other specific 303 VSTs don't get it right. Just check the audio comparisons on AcidVoice.com and you know what I am talking about.

Thanks bro
Not enough plugins 😜
That's nowhere near the 303, though. Call it "acid line" or whatever, but not 303.
Great video otherwise :)
Thanks dude!
what does 303 stand for?

yeah i also find it crazy how nowadays "303" and "808" means completely different something than the actual real thing. still a nice tutorial
