    Sick acid lead and I learnt to use velocity within Serum, which I was not aware of. Thanks.

    Full support frero !
    Bisous poto 😘😘

    Thank you for NOT titling the video "How to make a 303 in Serum"!
    As in Serum, Acid bass can be made in pretty much every synth.
    This said, there are highly specialized TB-303 emulations out there for those, who want a more accurate replication of the original 303 sound. I can recommend ABL3 by AudioRealism, Phoscyon 2 by D16, Roland's Clout TB-303 and Acid V by Arturia. Venom VB-303 by Anton Savon, Acid Devil by RS-MET, BassMartix by Witech and JC-303 are good sounding free ones.
    Some notes regarding the free ones: Venom VB-303 is not in active development and only available as 32 Bit VST for Windows. It's really good, if you can get it running and know how to use the original (difficult to use) TB-303 sequencer. AcidDevil is unofficially part of the RS-MET ToolChain, and setting it up is a hassle and I didn't figure out how to synchronize the sequencer to the DAW. I do not expect any improvements, as it is not listed as part of the ToolChain, which seems to be quite outdated itself. BassMatrix is available as 64 Bit VST3 for Windows. Not sure if there is a Mac version, but they released also a version which runs in a modern web browser. Last time I checked, the sequencer lacked some desired functionality, but there might be some improvement as it seems to be in active development. JC-303 is the most interesting project. The FOSS Mac, Windows and Linux cross platform plugin is in active development. The JC-303 is the only one lacking a sequencer, but they are working on it regarding to their website. Bottom line: currently, the free ones may not work for everybody in any case.

    Is there an acid pattern generating vst with a randomizing feature where you click a dice cube and the vst will create a pattern for you? Just curious about this, thanks!!

    wtf is dark acid? Just acid, thats it

    • @Whenuknow
      @Whenuknow  Рік тому +1

      Dark would be referring to the melody since I’m using the phyrigian mode so it sounds a bit more “evil”

    • @novictim
      @novictim Рік тому

      I thought dark referred to the lower resonance leading to acid lines with more lower harmonics

    • @Whenuknow
      @Whenuknow  Рік тому

      @@novictim i see what you mean, dark can allso be used to describe something more low passed
