- Hi, I'm JediMaster (Jerry Gidel) and I am a music producer and sound engineer from Poland, Wroclove. I have been professionally exploring and developing my electronic music skills & knowledge since the year 2009, but music has been a very important element of my life since the very childhood. I have graduated from a Music School achieving the 1st and 2nd degrees according to the Yamaha Program (in 2004), as well a Music Production Course at Wroclaw’s School of Music Production in my hometown (in 2015). My most recent meaningful accomplishment was graduating from the Wroclaw’s School of Modern Music, achieving an official degree and becoming a Sound Engineer (in 2018). I'm currently working-out how to make great sounding riffs that use the notes in the scale of G-Phrygian, one scale that is apparently used a lot in Goa Trance and PsyTrance music, I've been getting into using music-theory when making my own tracks.

Its a chord you have chosen, not a scale. Your music will have only a single chord.

One of my goals for 2022 is to get-away from using presets all the time and start coming-up with my own sounds, I have a pretty good idea of what sound synthesis/design is all about, so it's about time I start getting more into it.

HI Jerry Gidel, I use FL studio and i like making my own sounds and my style of trance , so I'm totally agree with you.
But few days ago this tutorial intrigued me, because i listened to something strange.
-Why this such simple setting in Harmor could you get such a good ,classic , deep trance sound?
So I have followed and copied 100% settings ,chords,end...............my sound is different is missing of that underground touch, is not that nice , it sounds cheap....
-Do you think is all about set up? Soundcard, monitors......what else?
I have read and I thought like many people , that is harder to make techno/trance music with FL STUDIO , or with "FL STUDIO Native PLUGIN" because it allways missing that sort of underground touch in the sound.. always a bit commercial.. too bright, metallic ..
I'm satisfied for what I'm doing , but it's seems for me is never 90/100% what i desire ..

On master channel I only use 'monitoring' plugins. The ones that show me frequencies spectrum, stereo image, and all different meters.

Very nice tutorial! Hey you can do a tutorial for the FX sounds you use in 15:25 please?
Pretty basic SSQ wavetable on serum with a high pass and some delay/ reverb and some decent resonance, if you use vital this can be achieved with varying results by resynthesizing your wavetable with the LFO on on the pitch and set to 1/8, hope this helps bro!

i wanna ask you if the bass mixing at mono or stereo?
It's mono.
Kick, Bassline, and Snare are mixed in MONO (you can adjust them into mixer on stereo separation make them full MIGRED)

@@dailydoseofwarcraft6154 Mixing bass in mono is not a must, it's a recomendation because you start messing around with phase. Hower you can set the stereo image by spreading mid parts of the bass for example with unison effect but keeping low parts in mono.. If you do it well it can sound wider and different than classic PsyTrance Kick and Baseline. I used this technique in two of my tracks:
