    Absolutely brilliant work lads, bravo. Straight to the website. Sold out WTF. I'll have to wait. Looking forward to bigger wheels with a decent lift that handles well. So bigger wheels will need more power, shit that's more money. See what you've started :) Get some stock!!

    If you look at the KPI/SAI measurements on the alignment machine it will point you towards what is bent (when comparing to factory recommended specs) also lower balljoint won't affect the vehicle height.

    Had you done replacement control arms yet. Would like to see a proper video addressing both thanks.

    Bro, i could kiss ya, ive been too dumb and poor to design and make something like this and having been hoping for something like this for almost a decade, you coulda saved my alot of tires and snapped cvs over the years

    Also can confirm you definitely have to cut back your upper control arm or bend like yours slightly to fit ball joint spacers for anyone wondering…. A grinder and a can of paint sorted mine out quick!

    This is absolutely awesome. Gotta convince the misses now. I want to do the whole upgrade including the LCA bushes. Any chance you have a link to get these?

    I'm definitely getting some of these, but your 2° castor difference would surely make it pull

    • @Team_Goat
      @Team_Goat 3 роки тому

      Without compensating with more toe on one side?

    • @boostedbuiltgarage
      @boostedbuiltgarage  3 роки тому

      Why would it pull? It makes the car behave immensely better on-road. You don't compensate for camber in the road with toe, you do it with more caster on the kerb side wheel.

    • @Team_Goat
      @Team_Goat 3 роки тому

      @@boostedbuiltgarage 2° castor split would make it veer towards the trailing wheel? Your product and it's adjustability looks amazing, I just thought with that much difference in castor in your alignment it would pull?

    • @boostedbuiltgarage
      @boostedbuiltgarage  3 роки тому

      I don't understand what difference you're talking about? Are you talking about on my car? If so, there's something bent (we think) so that's not me setting it like that on purpose. You usually want .5⁰ more caster on kerb side

    • @Team_Goat
      @Team_Goat 3 роки тому

      @@boostedbuiltgarage ahhhhh, well that explains the difference in castor! Yeah, i was talking about the alignment. Bent idler maybe, you know more than me!

      What's your truck setup and what kind of driving? I read very mixed reviews about balljoint spacers, curious if you have them.

    hey mate, love the parts looking at getting a set for my n60. just wanted to know whatb size lift your running? im on a 3" so would these be real good for getting my alignment were it should be. ive got 3" no diff drop, would you reckon run these on 3" or do a diff drop. cheers

    • @boostedbuiltgarage
      @boostedbuiltgarage  3 роки тому +3

      To be honest I don't know what my lift is. It would probably be about 3-4"
      These are the only thing that will help with your alignment 👌
      You're prob on the verge of needing diff drop, but it's easy enough to see how everything sits with these and assess from there

    How much difference would there be in just using the LCA kit to handling/ride?

    • @boostedbuiltgarage
      @boostedbuiltgarage  3 роки тому

      The lower kit gives you the best gain in caster, which gives the biggest improvement on road, however the upper then gives you ability to keep the full amount of caster and dial out the usual excessive camber. Where as if you're only using the lowers you may have to sacrifice the full caster gain to try get camber adjusted properly

  • @seanfisher1019
    @seanfisher1019 2 роки тому

    Hey mate, ive currently got a 4inch lift and im happy with the height but i have a decent amount of negative camber, i wanna put these in to level it out but im worried it will lift the truck too much, any thoughts?

    • @boostedbuiltgarage

      Standard length will be fine from memory. If you go longer you may run into CV binding issues at full droop

    All said & done is there a before and after advantage off road, if so what is it and have you a clip that proves it? On road means bugger all really cause at the end of the day it’s a Lux not a Lamborghini😂 also the 6 hours spent trying to adjust everything, I’m not sure a tyre shop would spend that much time on detail, if they were a simple fit without bending or cutting shit on the front end and made the lux a tiny bit more capable off road I think they’d sell like hot cakes if priced fairly, please take this as constructive criticism mate I’m not trying to ruffle ya feathers…
