Hi there. Yes, it’s similar to watercolour paper . I used a universal sketch book that is fine texture. You use minimal alcohol and it dries so fast the paper doesn’t have a chance to warp. Thanks for watching. Happy drawing.
Yes i have tried this, i took it a bit further by putting my design on cardboard, then indenting it with a pencil as i coloured it making the blavk lines raised. Interesting concept i got bored. And moved on.

What kind of paper did you use? It doesn't look like it warps. Would watercolor paper work?

That does sound like an interesting method. I’m still new to this , so it’s holding my interest. That’s for watching and sharing.
Rubbing alcohol will soak through any paper if too much is used.
