Winterizing Large Terracotta Pots, so they don't break
For the leaves you can use glue & epsom salt for same shimmering effect.
Hi there. Hmmm. I’m not sure if that would work. I think the glue might make the salt dull. I have used the Epson salts in sea shell bath bombs. The salt isn’t as sparkly as these borax crystals. Thanks for watching
Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial! I had a female Poodle years ago, and prior to her being spayed, I wished for some kind of diaper for her whenever she went into heat... I had tried making something with Child's panties, which helped somewhat, but if I had seen this information then, well, our lives would've been easier. ... So, anyone with a female that goes into heat, this would be perfect!!!!
These diapers really made life easier. Thanks for sharing and watching.
Does it help with temporary relief of nerve pain?
Yes it is traditionally used for diabetic neuropathy
I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing. I’ll recommend it to my friends with that condition.
I use soy wax and when I do this on the pillar candle, the candle is then very sticky. It doesn’t seem like the wax will dry. Will it dry eventually and how long will that take?
Hi there. I’m not sure why it’s sticky. I’m not an expert but I’ve read that Soy wax is softer in texture and It’s often used in container candles. It lacks structure so there might be additives in the soy pillar candle . This might be the reason it’s not fully hardening and feels sticky. Sorry I could be more help.
Such an original idea! Beautiful craft. I love them! ❤ Thank you
So glad you liked this. Thanks for watching.
Very cute and easy. thanks
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support.
Love your video, smells good..❤🙏♥️
Do you think the scent would come through if you started with a Paper Mache Tree Cone I could buy, instead of using paper?
Yes. The scent comes from the bottom of the tree as you raise the air freshener top.
Great idea. Thank you for the video.
Thanks so much. I appreciate the support.
So thorough. I feel I have learned so much. Thank you for teaching us.😊
I’m so glad you liked this. You can make beautiful arrangements using this Process. Thanks for watching and happy flower making.
Thank you so much, I love your channel. ❤️
Who calls a container a vessel? I find that a bit puzzling.
Can I use probiotic my cockatiel
I'm allergic to most of these ingredients. I think I'll try this recipe but replace the liquid laundry detergent with my natural one, baking soda for the Oxi Clean, vinegar for the softener, and essential oils to boost the scent. I'm sure it won't work quite as well as yours, but hopefully enough. :) * I also recommend going natural if you have crawling children and pets.
So beautiful. Love the one on the branch.
The branch turned out great. It still sparkles a year later. I just brought it back out of storage. Happy flower making.
Crepe paper amaryllis! Oh I must look at more of your videos. That flower you made is beautiful!
So glad you liked this. I have a few tutorials on paper flowers you might like. Thanks for watching.
Question: do the crystals rub off very easily?
Hi there. No , they don’t rub off easily. I still have these flowers intact 1 year later. The longer they dry the stronger they seem to feel. Thanks for watching and happy crafting.
I’ve been thinking it’s time to do this project. I have not tried it yet. Thank you for your detailed tutorial.
Glad it was helpful! You’ll love the results. Great way to be creative.
So beautiful and interesting. I will try to make it for the 1st time as my home project activities. Thank you for sharing this idea 👍❤️

You’re absolutely right. Keep these out of the reach of children. Thanks for sharing and watching.
Oh it’s so magical. Thank you for sharing this ❤
So glad you liked these. Thanks for watching.
They're beautiful! Is this how they do the Christmas poinsetta?
I m not sure about that. These crystals really show up on silk fabrics. Lots of flowers to try this on. Thanks for watching and happy crafting.
For the clear coat (spray), can I use hair spray as a substitute?
I haven’t tried that so I’m not sure if it works. The crystals stay shiny for quite some time. The clear coat I used was super fine mist. If you over spray the crystals become dull. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Hello, can i dry the sumac, and then make tea out of it somehow?
Hello. Yes, you can make tea. Boil water , add dried sumac, steep and strain. You’ll have to add sumac to taste. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for showing what doesn't work. That's as important as what works.

Mule Team Borax - I always think of Ronald Reagan and his tv show back in the day.
Ha ha yes, he did commercials for it. These turn out so nice. Thanks for watching.
I thought chili and cayenne pepper are not the same plant.
Cayenne is a specific type of chili pepper, ,chili pepper” is just a general term to refer to peppers in the capsicum family . You want to use cayenne pepper. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.
Hi Suzy! Can this be done with fresh juniper or spruce cuttings?
Hi there. That would be gorgeous but I don’t know if it would work. The borax crystals may not adhere to fresh plant matter surface…like I tried with the tangerine. Also, the crystals may drop off as the plant dries out. I believe the borax needs something that is somewhat porous to grab on to. I say that because the leaves I used that had a plasticized surface did not create as many crystals. Having said that , it’s fun to experiment. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
A lady om Instagram did tree cuttings. Unfortunately, she didn't include instructions
@ Thank you Kelly!
Dove si compra
Hi there. You should be able to buy cayenne pepper at the grocery store or health store. Thanks for watching. Hope this helps.
I had an Aloe Vera plant.
A plant is the best way to get that fresh aloe Vera when you need it. Thanks for watching
Great video, love the natural branch combo, will definitely try this . Thanks so much for sharing 😊
Hi there. One year later and the branch still looks great. Thanks for watching and happy crafting
Would this work using mineral oil (like the one they sell at Ikea for cutting boards)?
Hi there. Yes, if it’s just mineral oil you can use that too. The added beeswax gives it that smooth , water repellent surface. Thanks for watching.
Awesome and practical tutorial, thanks Suzy ! Have a great weekend.
Thanks so much. Have a nice weekend !
Any chance to add some citrus or lemon essence to this to make it smell nice? Can't wait to make it but I love the citrusy smell of the wood conditioner I use now.
Hi there. I’ve never tried that myself. It would have to be food grade and you might risk the essence altering the flavour of your food. I’m glad you liked this and thank you for watching.
You are incredibly thorough in your presentation!!! Thank you!! I will do this if I can finish Xmas wreaths I have to make!
Oh yes. Xmas wreaths come first! I’m getting ready to decorate too. Thanks for watching. Enjoy your crafting.
This is perfect! I was just thinking of making some for Christmas gifts!!

My understanding is that castor oil absorbs into the skin better than any other oil. I'm going to try this with castor oil. Great video! Straight to the recipe and instructions.
Hi there. I’ve never tried using castor oil as my carrier oil. It is said to have anti inflammatory properties. I’m wondering how it will blend since it is very thick. Also, I’ve read that it doesn’t absorb as fast as other oil. It takes about 20 mins to absorb fully into the skin. However, this salve takes time to work so that might not be an issue. Let me know how it works for you. Thanks for sharing and watching.
Thanks Suzy 👍 😊 another great video.
Thanks Graca. I appreciate the support. ❤️
I make the same but with sour cherries that I learned from my Ukrainian Grandmother and we call it " Vichnovka "
Oh wow. That must taste delicious. I’ll have to try it sometime. Thanks for watching.
Can coconut oil be used in place of bees wax?
Hi there. Coconut oil won’t solidify the salve like beeswax does. I think it would make a runny or liquid like cream. I’ve never made it this way but you might prefer the consistency. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
@suzyrebelo Thank you for your helpful response. Bees wax isn't readily available near me that's why I ask.
You're the cutest!! Thank you so much for sharing Suzy, so skilled!💐
So glad you liked this. Thanks for watching and happy flower making! 🌸
The aloe vera video was very informative. I take tumeric and thanks to you I can make a paste. Thank you
Thank you. Yes, tumeric is very effective as an anti inflammatory. The milk is delicious. Thanks for watching.
Can you do this with fake trees
Hello. It works well on fabrics like silk or polyester flower petals and leaves. It didn’t work as well on materials that weren’t as absorbent. Some of my leaves had a plastic like finish and the crystals didn’t form as much. Therefore, it depends on the material you’re working with. Definitely worth testing it. If it work the tree would be beautiful. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
what is the name of your food processor please
Hi there. It’s a breville. I bought it many years ago. I like the brand. Thanks for watching
