I've been 3 times to Iceland yet. Everytime I take the turn of the ringroad to enter the westfjords, I get happy. Nature and people are beautiful there.

I completely agree...I would love to live in the Westfjords. I last visited in 2017 and cannot wait to go back. It’s a place like no other...the peace, tranquility, beauty and isolation is truly spectacular. As it the landscape and scenery, of course. I look forward to seeing your images and videos.

Very cool! I agree completely with what you say. I live on my yacht off the west coast of Scotland for all the same reasons. I climb mountains and hills from the boat. Will be sailing around Iceland next year or the year after. Your work ie photos are inspiring. Keep it up and the best to you. Very cool!!!

Very nice video. I lived in Iceland in 1969 and 1970 when was in the US Navy and fell in love with the country and the culture and history. in 1989 I visited for two weeks with my brother, and made bucket list trip there in 2019. I brought three friends and two of their children with me. Of course they all fell in love with the country too. Unfortunately the two places I never got to were the northeast and the western part of the Westfords. I'm hoping to make one more trip there to see those areas. Your video shows me I missed a beautiful area.

I had a chance to spend 2 weeks in Iceland in 2017, drive the ring road and take a trip to Grimsey to cross into the Arctic Circle. It truly is a magical and mysterious place.

I have German and US citizenship and immigrated to Iceland and speak multiple languages.
@@IsleyReust Did you grow up in Germany, though? I ask because I’m fascinated at how certain European ethnicities, when they speak English, sound like they have American accents. I watch hockey, and when I hear Swedish players speaking English, many of them sound like they’re American.
beautiful country, but it's cold. I grew up on the western slope of Colorado and found myself done with cold. Sandy beachs, dolphins etc in shorts much better
