I have a 2018 CRV Touring and we love it.. its got everything on it.. only thing that sucks is if you do short journeys a lot then your battery wont last, approx you'll get 2.5years... another way to prolong the battery, when turning off you car, turn off non essential stuff, like AC, fan, lights, Radio.. as with it on, when you start your car the battery has a hard time cranking the engine. After our last battery change instead of the rated 500amp battery it has, we got a 550 cranking amp battery.. and try not to do short journeys, take it on longer journeys instead.. otherwise the CRV is great, only thing we've done is oil changes and needed 4 new tires which original tires lasted 5 years... Great mid size SUV, loads of space in trunk and passenger seats, with plenty of cup holders etc...

Have a 2020 EX-L and we love it.almost all city driving and get 28 mpg in the summer, and 29 in the winter (difference because of a/c being on). Out on the highway on a trip mid 30’s. Only thing thing I would caution on is ...she had an air freshener looped around her gear shifter and the oils from the air freshener started to eat away the grey laminate around it. Very small spot. But it's there. Now she hangs it around the mirror like most people lol. Also there's a glitch with the apple car play, with a couple year older iPhone.

I love your video's, all of them. But i must say that my ex wife's 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has the CVT transmission in it and at 110k on the clock she has not had any problems. Having said that, it also has the 3.5 litre V-6 and will spin tires at will. I'm hoping she got one that was built correctly and will last 200k. We got this Pathfinder after hurricane Harvey, we live in Dickinson, Texas, or she does. And it replaced her Toyota Avalon that was under 3 feet of water in our driveway.

The CVT can be sluggish at times but gives excellent highway mileage. I have a 2015 Accord, and once I got 45 mpg cruising at 55 mph in California. Overall on the highways, it always beats the EPA-rated mileage. Note that it was on ECO mode for the 45 mpg run with AC on and set to 70F. Three close friends of mine all have a Honda CR-V and even though they're all different models and trim levels, they all love it and haven't had any major issues. My mom has a white 2022 Honda CR-V ordered right now and it's great seeing how much you like it (but that was pretty obvious since it's a Honda). My parents were going to get a hybrid since she does a good amount of city driving, however when they ordered the vehicle back in May, the dealership said a Hybrid wouldn't be coming in until 2023! Her CR-V is currently being built and should be in sometime in August so I'll be seeing this exact model year in person very soon!

I built these in the Indiana Honda plant for several years. It's true, MOST of what goes into their vehicles that they sell in the USA is made in the USA. They take their quality very seriously and have many quality checkpoints down the production line. High quality, durability, low defects, and competitive pricing were always the main focus (or at least that's what they'd say in meetings).
I've always thought their products were good, and they're more "made in America" than most people think.

I have a 2017 CRV. Well, I hold my breath on its longevity. In the beginning I had battery problems. Every 18 months a new battery. After my own research, It was a software patch. I had to demand the dealership under warranty to locate and apply a service bulletin patch. The push back from them, it was not in the serial number range. I do notice a strong gas odor when checking the oil level at the dipstick. I'm amazed that software patches have such impact on vehicle performance...sigh. Great driver around town and on the road. Will see how the engine holds up.

In owning this car for almost 2 years. It's a 2021 BTW I have noticed that I have a lot of hip pain on both sides of my body. Siotic nerve pain. I hope that I spelled that right. And not enough leg room in the front while driving. I'm 5"11 and I noticed that there is not enough support in the arm rest my left elbow and arm hurts after a good road trip. Other than that it's a nice car! Also turn off the start and stop button located above the econ button on the right side of the shifter that will save you a lot of money for engine repairs down the road. Also I have to do it every time I drive the car when I start it. It's a little annoying but you will get use to it. I hope that this helps you all who has this vehicle.
