Winter Pier Crabbing in Early March

Winter Pier Crabbing for anything except spider crab. Late winter day to drop a crab pot with my buddy for some late winter Jonah crab but ending up with Spider Crabs. It was fantastic day out there enjoying a few hours with a friend vent we end up not catching anything we set out to catch.
I think you can haul a bunch later on when it gets closer to spring. Use any bat, chicken and leftover fishy baits will get the job done. Check out friend channel and he has some DIY stuff. See link below.

That was a great day to try out my DIY fishing rod. You told me I wouldn't catch anything, but it gave me the chance to see if it held up. So when we go fishing next time, hopefully I have a video to post of me catching a fish.
