      Wonderful, so happy it has helped! Think of the work like peeling back layers of an onion (and onion of dense fascia), and as you make progress, new spaces will open up and possibly other places will be new. Please reach out with question! Thank you!

    That instantly improved my shoulder and t-spine mobility. Felt great. Any limitations on how often we can do this facial stretching?

    Fantastic stretch.
    When you lean back (bum to heal), do you breathe in or do exhale?

    • @DailyFascia
      @DailyFascia  Рік тому +1

      You can do either, whatever feels most natural for you. Try both ways and test it out!

    Great video but when I get wider my shoulders want to pop out when I lean back I’ve tried bringing my elbows closer to my legs so it doesn’t pop but I end up not getting a stretch

      OK, maybe try elevating your upper body and a little bit of a platform or on the couch? I would love to know if that helps.

    Just did this, felt great Thankyou. Could this be a good thing for stimulating the Vagus nerve?

      I’m so glad! I think it could be. Did you get the feeling it was?

      Not sure, I have nerve adhesions down my left arm resulting from some pinching in the neck. One PT thought that the vagus nerve could also be affected since it stems from the same area and recommended I try to relieve it. The motion felt good! Don’t know if it’s exactly the right spot or not.

    Erin, im thrilled ive found your channel. My thoracic spine is super tight from years of computer work. What do you recommend for that? Thank you!

      I’m so glad you found me too! Really I just plain around with different parts of the body. Do some activations for the lower body, different joints, upper body, and see if you feel things change. This may be that you have a particular pain point that shifts to a new location. Or when you’re doing something and you feel it in the opposite side of your body. Play around and explore! I do virtual private sessions where we can target your specific needs if you’re interested in that, over to my website :-)

    Hey Erin, I unfortunately had a liver flush go wrong on me and now it appears my fascia is inflamed under my right shoulder blade. I stumbled across this video looking for relief. Any tips on targeting fascia around the liver and digestion?

      I am sorry to hear that! One area you could focus on is that rib cage. There are videos on my YT page that also focus on muscles along the liver and gall bladder meridians. Try my videos for the inner thigh (adductors) and ITB/ lateral hamstrings. I hope this help, I would love to know if you experience benefit from this! Good luck, Erin

    Would it be a good idea to team these up with chest opening fascia stretches?
    I could feel my shoulder blade area activating while watching this!

      Oh gosh, for sure!! I like to fascia stretch the opposite side of the body in a session. Great idea!

    Is there a way to do this against the wall? Have postACL knee so not able to put that much on knee yet. Great videos!

      I would try it in a countertop, where you bend over and place elbows down. But, certainly try it in any possible position! Let me know what works!

    Erin I had to stop, my left wrist has been sensitive for ever reason, so when you dad about the left pinky side elt better to you, I tried leaning my hand there and it hurt so much I had to stop, what would the connection be.

    • @DailyFascia
      @DailyFascia  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Cindy ! Great question, the work really plays out uniquely in each individual. You might need to do a micro adjustment completely opposite of mine, that might be better for you. Play around with it but always avoid any acute pain. I suggest doing less muscle contraction and smaller range of motion. You could also try to pause and hold the connection without movement so that the nervous system has time to communicate to where you are working. I hope that’s helpful.
