- Had to see if the reds are still around Wrightsville Beach. Great news! The fish are still around! Still made a run up to sneads ferry to finish the afternoon with a few live bait redfish on shallow water docks.

Just curious - you mentioned Sneads Ferry as better than WB for inshore from your perspective. How has the middle of those two done over time from your experience (south end of Topsail; and north end of figure 8)?
Love them both respectfully! Sneads works better for my style I think, I'm wrong when I say its "better". Fig 8 to South end of Topsail has some great fishing as well. One thing I know is that the tide swings and wind just affect this area more than Sneads. Fished alot in Hamstead and love docks and flats anywhere on the icw for reds. Trout can be harder to find in these areas though. That's why I love sneads, week end and week out. All species are there. But shhh I didn't tell you...
