Solos at the start of the song were from The "Kamis from the West".
They are Chris Kelly and CJ Masciantonio on guitars, Clint Tustin on bass and Anthony Barone on drums.
Besides the brief footage from Su's solo version (back when the song was unofficially known as 'Tattoo'), I saw both Riho Sayashi and Momoko Okazaki as supporting dancers.
They all did a great job personifying a heat wave.
I've loved this one since they first started playing it on the 2018 US tour.
IMO, the best rocker they've given Su since 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!'.
The Su solo version from the 2018 tour is definitely worth checking out as well.

The reason the guitar playing appeared out of sync with the audio in parts is because it's a compilation, as you observed. The person who made it combined video from different performances of the same song to get around copyright blocks, and I guess they got mixed up in the solos.
This is something BM actually used to do a lot more - giving all the Kami band members a turn to show off their technical chops with a flashy solo as an intro to a song. Other songs they've done this for include Catch Me If You Can, Awadama Fever, YAVA!, and Rondo of Nightmare. You can even see good performances of CMIYC and Rondo from the Budokan Black Night show on youtube, as they don't get taken down for copyright. You can also see YAVA! on the Babymetal Reactor Resource channel, along with a lot of other stuff that normally gets blocked.
Torilogy of light "Starlight", "Shine", "Arkadia" These songs offer some of SU's best vocal performances.

Everything is so good about this song... The Western Kamiband intro.... Su's vocals.... The heandbanging/pointail whip by the girls..... Totally awesome and badass..... In case no one has told ya, try putting a watermark on Babymetal videos, that should get you past the copyrights. Great & thanks from Japan. This is a fan-made compilation from 3 concerts in 2019 & 2020 (one in USA) + short clip at festival in USA or UK (2018). The band in the girls' back is West (American) Kamis : Chris Kelly (G), C.J. Masciantonio (G), Clint Tustin (B) and Anthony Barone (D). They are great as well as East.
Su is singing about jealousy against someone using a metaphor of heat haze, "Kagerou". The hash emotion is shimmering from her inner blaze, and it seems to me that her emotion will not erupt but turn into magma. It's scary😱 . Yeah! This is the song featuring BM's heavy and seductive side. The girls have grown up into ladies now without doubt.

Kagerou (Tattoo) or “Heat haze” is about someone who was at first suspicious about her partner, then begins burning up in anger by the end of the song. This song uses a ton of Japanese onomatopoeia, which is why it sounds fairly repetitive.

I've had this song in my truck for over a year, it's originally known as "Kagerou" or 'heat haze'. You would enjoy 'Syncopation' if you liked this song. Although Syncopation was not released in the U.S. it's should be, it's a real banger.

This is actually Kagerou, Tattoo was the same song done at at concert prior to this concert tour. I want to say it was at a Download Festival, but I', not sure. Look up Tattoo - BabyMetal and it should come up. Su does the song solo. A very cool vidoe.

Welcome back to BABYMETAL, it's been a while! Sorry to hear your troubles with blocks but fear not, there's a simple solution! I know your Gimmie Chocolate reaction got taken down. Which other BABYMETAL ones got blocked? All you have to do is add a semi-transparent watermark like you did on Karate and re-upload and in the title say something like "re-upload due to block" and we'll watch it again!
Luckily there's still many BABYMETAL videos you can still react to that are safe which don't require any altering whatsoever. I suggested two of them along with links in another post below.
Also others have mentioned the BABYMETAL Reactor Resource channel which is great for awesome performances you can't get on UA-cam. They will require a watermark but he's personally tested each of those videos on that list on UA-cam with watermark and they all got past blocks.
Absolutely awesome reaction. The song is actually Kagerou (it was renamed from Tatoo) the Western Kami Band intro was off sync because of the compilation video but Su’s vocals were spot on and the choreography was amazing). Great performance.

These two performances illustrate another aspect the BABYMETAL experience...the Su-metal solo and the Kawaii sub-unit known as 'Black BABYMETAL' (Yui-metal and Moa-metal duo). This along with the Kami band solos, as seen in this current video of Kagerou (Tattoo), add an interesting dynamic to their concerts and also cleverly give the girls times to rest since they're constantly dancing/singing. You'll also see interludes/vignettes called 'kamishibai' that explore some of the lore behind BABYMETAL as well as helps introduce the next song. This gives everyone (girls, band, and even audience) a chance to catch a breath!

Nice reaction. That's a great intro by the West kamiband. This is the mature Babymetal choreography and sound. Babymetal is on a break. They call it sealed. It's been extended because of covid. Which makes it a good time to catch up on all things Babymetal. When the seal is broken and Babymetal returns to the stage. You could be all caught up and ready to go. April 1st is Fox Day in Japan. In the past it's around this time that Babymetal news is released. But watch out because Fox Day is a lot like April Fool's Day. Trick news may come out first. We're hoping for tour dates and may be a new album release date as well. But Only The Fox god Knows what will happen. lol

Have you ever seen DragonForce / BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance P-13?
You will probably enjoy some of Su's vocals more now because she is getting older her vocals just get better and better not that they where not great anyway some of the songs are from when Su was a teenager . She is now 24 years old think she was 22 to 23 in the clips . Moa's vocals and harmonies are really great as well as she gets older also . 🤘🦊🤘
The song isnt actually named tattoo btw. I thought it was too after using Google translate. It's more like "mirage". The song lyrics fit much more with this too. There is nothing at all relevant to the song being titled tattoo in the theme or lyrics of the song. AJ Hartley does a really good analysis of everything in his UA-cam video for Kagerô.
I always loved this song. Babymetal are awesome but so are the musicians. They are world class all the way. Su-metal still has one of the most beautiful voices.

I got the impression that you liked the chorus. :-) It's not one of their strongest songs, in my personal opinion, but that's one of the great things about BABYMETAL: Their catalogue is so strong, even the weaker songs are very damn good. And apart from that: There's so much variety in their music that you'll always find one song that's perfect for the specific mood that you are in at any given time. If it happens to be the time for a groovy rocker, this is the song.
I'm not a fan of compilation videos for eactly the reason I witnessed just now: It's confusing to viewers that are not aware of it. And especially in BABYMETAL's case, there are two more reasons why that's bad, possibly even harmful: Their shows are much more than just music, the visual aspect plays a great role as well. So the inconsistency in outfits, stages and - in more recent performances - even members might affect the experience. Secondly, BABYMETAL are already accused of being fake and lipsyncing etc. quite often. If people now notice that what they are seeing doesn't line up with what they are hearing, they might see their prejudices confirmed.
I do understand that compilations help against copyright claims, but it's far from ideal.
I hope we'll see more BM reactions from you, I always enjoy them. I'm not entirely sure which songs you have already done, I remember Gimme Chocolate, Karate and Headbanger. One mandatory performance is "Road of Resistance" live in Japan, especially for a musician. It's a near perfect performance, in my opinion. Unfortunately, it will most certainly get blocked unless you pause regularly and possibly use a semi-transparent video overlay of some sort. It's worth it, though!

Great song, which IMO shows the maturity of BM. But you don't get the full impact of a performance watching compilations. It's better to watch a single performance.
People use a variety of techniques to avoid getting blocked by YT or Amuse. Don't know if you've tried any of these techniques. Use videos from the BM reactor channel which rarely get blocked plus have English sub-titles. Place a translucent object such as the BM logo or waterglass to partially obscure the video. Stop the video frequently and talk for 15-30 seconds or longer. Go back a few seconds or repeat a section, such as the drum solo, which lessens the chance of the YT algorithm noticing the video. Check out other reactors (I know you do) and see what techniques they use.
By watching an entire video without interruption or minor obfuscation increases the chance of YT's algorithm identifying the complete video and probability of getting blocked. As several commentors mentioned, BM fans don't mind, most of us have seen the videos multiple times. I watch to see people's initial reaction to a song to "relive" my first time and see their excitement. Or hear why someone doesn't like about a song.
