All makeup by Chanel
First, Mary used Hydra Beauty Serum Hydration Protection Radiance, £59 (bit.ly/Z0hNel), to give the face a more toned down, matte appearance. She then applied Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in No. 20, £33 (bit.ly/1pcDo8r), making sure she blended it in across the face and down the neck to make the skin look flawless.
Next, Mary used Estompe Éclat Corrective Concealer Stick in No.10 (no longer available however try Correcteur Perfection Long-Lasting Concealer in No.10, £27, (bit.ly/1tKa4fD) as a great alternative) under the eye area to lighten and lift it. She also added a touch to the lips for a completely nude mouth.
For the eyes, Mary used Les 4 Ombres Multi Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Tisse Gabrielle, £40 (bit.ly/1nEAoqo). She started by applying the palest shade under the brow bone, then with a medium brush applied a darker shade to the lid, making sure she continued all the way up into the crease of the eye.
Next, she used Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil, £17 (bit.ly/1u57kYF), along the lash line before following with Ecriture De Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Brown, £26 (bit.ly/1u57DTo), along the same line and then up into a flick. Mary blended the liner with the darkest shade of eyeshadow from the Chanel palette, before applying the same shade with a smaller brush along the lid underneath the eye.
Mary then used Le Crayon Kohl Intensive Eye Pencil in Peche Cuivre, £17 (bit.ly/1nK15W5), to shade in the corner of the eye, and Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-lasting Eyeliner in No. 100, £19 (bit.ly/1rEkuPr), on the inside rim of the eye. She filled in to brows with colour and brushed them into shape using Crayon Sourcils Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in Noir Cendre, £19 (bit.ly/1tKaLFT).
For the lashes, Mary applied Le Volume De Chanel Mascare in No.10, £25 (bit.ly/1lkXbr7). She then cleaned up the eye area with the concealer before highlighting the cheeks with Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-colour in No. 2, £39 (bit.ly/1tSPybW).
To knock back the shine, Mary used Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder in No. 20, £33 (bit.ly/1rEkTBw), across the nose, chin and forehead. She then applied it thinly under the eyes for an added matte effect.
To finish, Mary applied Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer in Orange Intense, £17.50 (bit.ly/1vUszh5), and Rouge Allure Luminous Sation Lip Colour in No. 96, £26 (bit.ly/1wNUgwa).

Mary is well known for her distaste of brushes and sponges and so will use just her hands (with enthusiasm) and I always chuckle watching her apply makeup, simply because she did Princess Diana's makeup and the mental image of Mary touching the late Princess' face in such a way.

She loves her brushes, but she knew which part should and will be better applied with hands and not. Some brushes these days are useless or made for commercial purposes. She only use brushes she knows she will use for any looks and purpose and that's all.
I was always using my hands to apply makeups and I felt i was not doing something normal but finding her doing the same, I remember that it relieved me a lot. It is much easier, faster, and more precise for me to apply with hands.

The look is stunning, although I wouldn't dare wear both smoky eyes and a bright lip to work. It has to be one or the other for me. For an evening out though, this is absolutely fabulous!

Amazing tutorial, Mary hit it out of the park again! One small suggestion GTG: could you show more of Mary doing the makeup, using her hands (which is what she is known for) instead of cutting to the next step so quickly? Mary just does beauty with effortless art. It's always a delight and pleasure to watch her work.
i can't wear a lot of concealer under my eyes (even though i need it BAD) because all of them settle in my tiny lines and make me look so much older than 32.
Use a hydrating eye cream or gel and a peach or orange color corrector before applying concealer.
After binge watching Mary's videos, I tried for the first time, applying my cc cream with my hands which I always did with an air cushion. And it was incredible, so much better.
She is an amazing makeup artist. I absolutely adore her work. When the greatest minds in makeup work under you years ago, you know you've done something right.

omg, what? that many eye shadows, that many products and concealer twice early in the morning before going to work at the OFFICE? Please do a redo of the corporate office look for a 9-5 where a lady has to manage a career and her whole family (meaning no option of wasting time). the make up was very beautiful and everything but I don't think it's exactly work appropriate. I believe that people should see your professionalism first, rather than being distracted by the colour of your lipstick/eyeshadow. Using a foundation, a powder, eyeliner, mascara - I'm all in for it, but I am not sure to which workplace in my industry I would be going camouflaged like this

I'm a nurse and would quite cheerfully wear this to work, but without the bright lip.
totally work appropriate. I have noticed that as more folks embrace office casual, they find the contrast between what was considered normal out of their comfort zone. I have seen some adjust the amount of eye liner and intensity of lip color but this look was very popular in med school.
I personally love bright lipstick and very minimal eye make up. I don't like eyeshadow.

I've been doing my eyeliner all wrong. now I know why the liquid eyeliner I use has too much separation between liner and eyelash! I worked in the advertising industry. This look - the heavily powdered face, the OTT concealer, messy blended eyeshadow - would only work very well for photoshoot or publication, where designers digitally touchup the photos, removes the imperfection.
Sorry. I'm a fan of Mary but this is disappointing. When the camera went up close on the model's face, all I see is mess. In real life, in a work environment, if clients or colleagues turn up in my office with this look, I would think she is here for a photoshoot or modelling job.
Makeup look for office should be like a better version of yourself. Enhancement, sharp and polished. Quite frankly, glowing skin is refreshing, it's like hey this girl looks like she loves her job hence she is glowing!

Why would you do a winged liner like that on someone with hooded eyes? She could've made it look so much better if she actually tried to make the liner suit the model's eye shape
I thought the same thing, but she blends it out with another eyeshadow, it's not a winged liner, not in the defined sense at all, way more sultry and smokey
I find it amusing how there are always "experts", often with tacky instagram makeup on their profile pictures and boring hens, who wear lipgloss and mascara, so everything is too much for them. Or even worse, say that wonderful facial massage, increasing the blood flow and blending products in is too rough or not hygienic (clean hands are less hygienic than brushes and sponges? In what world?).
First of all, Mary says in the very beginning that this video is to show that you can wear a lot of makeup and look classy/elegant. This look is very much appropriate for many normal jobs, you are just brainwashed into being gray, invisible and apologetic, you convinced yourself everything is always too much. I really doubt most bosses (or coworkers, clients etc) would have a problem with this makeup, if it was on a perfect base, high quality products and immaculate blending and paired with classic hair and clothes. You can always ditch the lip or pair down the eye makeup, especially if you have a face and colouring that doesn't carry it well.
The world would be such a marvelous place if more people were like Miss Greenwell - colorful, warm, energetic, creative and brave, instead of the toxic mentality of the commenters.

I am so glad to find a tutorial which actually more applicable than the standard makeup on my workplace and not turning me into a clown with too much powder goo on the face.

This look is way too heavy for an office setting. Of course some places are looser than others, but for me, I just use one or two eye shadows at most, mascara, some blush, and a neutral mlbb shade of lipstick. Sometimes I'll throw eyeliner on, but it'll be very demure.
Love the makeup! However, did I miss something? What about eyelid primer? Or did she put foundation over the lids?
Is it just me or does this make her lids look super heavy?
Please consider doing more tutorials specifically for hooded eyes and maybe have the models with different types of hooded eyes. Us hooded eyed guys and girls can't do what everyone else does on our eyes. It would mean so much.

just for your future reference: the eye "socket" on her lid is the crease and the line "inside the eye" is the water line. But i'm by no means a beauty expert

Queen Mary! Yay! The best. I have got to try this look. GTG thank you for these Mary vids, love them! I just wish you would ditch the clunky music and annoying slides with the 'steps' and cheesy puns on them (WHY are they there?) and just focus on showing us the make up.
