I'm sorry but making space marine 3 in 2-4 years from now is going to ruin the IP in one generation This is not CoD that is released yearly by copy pasting They need 5 years MINIMUM to develop the next sequel With this game being supported for the next 2-3 years there is NO WAY they can create something on the same level in just 2 years following having to support this game for 2 years
Lol hints besides necrons did you see purple crystal hint dark Eldar also the battle flag at Cemetery is an Easter egg and at cliff face near titan another east egg necron lol don't tell Val .and tell Val the Blood angels fall to Khorne 😂 ps 💀 can use swarm logic with scarabs that wake 💀 😮😮😮
I feel like this is what the case would be with how they have a complete year roadmap for SM2. With how much they added to and supported WWZ I’m assuming SM2 will get the same treatment
"They'll be back" is a reference to the old tabletop Necron ability "We'll Be Back," which was itself a reference to the classic line from the Terminator.
Titus does mention he has seen the "mechanical horrors that spew forth" from tomb worlds such as this - that's a pretty direct reference to Necrons without mentioning their name directly. It's as close to announcing them as you can get.
When they flipped the obelisks and the gate started to become green I did so many soy faces thinking that somehow the necrons were gonna show up and F___ up imurah, and the last boss was gonna be a necron.
.. if I understood what little of that sentence made sense: humans weren't around during the time of the Necrontyr, it's more likely that the carvings with Imperial Navy Ships are relatively more recent.
At the end of SM2 when the team is ‘turning’ the artifacts, you see the beams change from purple to green…gave me heavy Necron vibes. Did they unknowingly wake the tomb?? The great deceiver’s at work again…
As soon as I saw the broken Necrons amidst the black necron pyramids, right after Titus said 'This is a tomb world', I knew we could expect the Tau to show up
The simple way to tie Chaos into the Necron's could be the blackstone pylons. We know that Blackstone in some way negates or weakens the warp, so maybe what'll happen is that while meddling with technology beyond our understanding that the Necron's want to stop and then Chaos does as chaos does and manipulates their way into disabling or destroying the blackstone which get's them in the game.
Flayed ones could be a good melee swarm enemy for necrons, prob a bit more elite than tzaangors in SM2, and scarabs could function in a very similar way to rippers, perhaps healing downed enemys in swarms. warriors could function like slightly less elite rubric marines moving in small squads. Immortals could be a more elite infantry unit, deathmarks could be solo teleporting snipers, kind of like a lictor but ranged. Then you've got lychguard, destroyers, wraiths, tomb sentinels, etc etc. Not to mention crypteks flying around reanimating guys like sorcerers in SM2, Necrons would a great enemy faction for space marine 3.
I do not want Chaos in the next game. Let the masterminds be Eldar or Dark Eldar. However, something makes me think Necrons will be the next update for Space Marine 2. I know that sounds like a stretch, But I think it might be the case for the new coop campaign missions
@@GameRiot there are versions of scarabs which can be bigger and fitted with ranged weapons - but flayed ones are a substitute for swarm-style enemies. Otherwise fighting groups of 3-5 necron warriors would still be a lot of fun; just because they have an engine which can handle swarms doesn't mean every faction needs to have swarm-based tactics
We know from some dataslate in the campaign that some unfortunate tech priest woke up a canoptek construct, so the possibility is there. Could possibly be ranged damage hell though, unless it's a lot of scarabs.
This game was absolutely phenomenal and I loved every bit of it. I really enjoyed the first Space Marine game and in some aspects I liked Space Marine a lot more than the first one. I cannot wait to see what they do for either a DLC or a sequel to Space Marine 3 if and when that comes out or if they feature Titus and his future mission in a different kind of Warhammer 40k game that isn't titled Space Marine. It's been quite a few years since I delved into the lore of Warhammer 40k in general so I felt a bit lost from time to time with who was who or what was happening in the current time period of Warhammer 40k in the timeline. It took me about two months a few months ago to actually get back on track with the entire timeline of Warhammer 40k and what has been updated to the current timeline. That way I kind of knew who was who and what was what. But once I got back on track with the current timeline and played Space Marine 2 and went through the entire game again for the first Space Marine game I found myself enjoying Space Marine 2 much more. I absolutely love this game and I cannot wait to see what they do with Warhammer 40K in the future especially a possible DLC for Space Marine 2 or a future game Space Marine 3.
No, Space Marine 3 won't be coming any time soon, but it could come sometime after the official 11th Edition release. However, the story about the Necrons in Space Marine 2 could appear as a story DLC, which could be a different character or it could be our protagonist returning to Demerium to do some kind of mission that might involve evacuating the remaining people or maybe fighting the Necron Overlord to stop the awakening of millions of Necrons underground who are about to awaken
the amazon thing is called "Secret Level". You know, so that it will pop up when u look up secret levels in all the games that are featured on it... ugh!
i mean there has been alot of speculation of what new enemy means in the roadmap maybe we will get new enemies in the new operations such as flayed ones or something for a horror operation
It's more likely that in the near future new Operations missions will involve Necrons or additional campaign missions with Titus in them. Space Marine 3 would still be many years away. As for swarm enemies, insane Necron flayed ones, sprinting while hunched forward like a rapid zombie flick, swinging and leaping at you with their sharp metal claws.
I'm actually hoping that Space Marine 3 is set in the Pariah Nexus and we face the necrons and get to play, at least for one mission, as Roboute Guilliman.
Its insane how stupid developers are to have taken this long to see the massive potential in the warhammer setting. They could have such a cash cow if they only did it justice
A space marine 3 would just anger me if it was being worked on before we even hit our planned season pass. Also necrons have a swarm unit that even says swarm in its name, scarab swarms and they would be a nightmare to kill bc they are tiny and rebuild themselves.
It does mention necrons, Titus literally says it's a Tomb world. I think it would be cool to fight Tau, Necrons, and eldar. Also playing th fall of Cadia, would be cool too
Tell Tim to have his team boost space marine armor values, boost bolt gun damage, boost melee damage, nerf Tzangoor tanky-ness, nerf ranged tyranid warrior tanky-ness, add capes to customization, add pelts, add chain axe and power axe, add apothecaries, add terminators, add option to change eye lenses, add option to put chapter symbol on right pauldron so I could really be a deathwatch marine, add horde mode sooner, add orcs, reduce damage done my trash mobs, and to add chaos customization. That is all.
I for one grew up with the Dawn of War games for PC, then enjoyed playing and watching the later games such as Warhammer battle March and the Space Marine Series. In my opinion, considering that the Eldar is the Nerons' most ancient enemy, I can see them possibly the spotlight "allies" in question we would have on the new world in a questionable alliance that is barely holding on due to mistrust. Then the Dark Eldar swoop in close to the end hoping to enjoy some "sport" as they can collect and feed upon the massive amount of souls ripe for the plucking on the planet because of the great battle between the three species and the only way to win in the end is the Farseer of the Eldar to agree and trust working with the what is left alive of the Ultramarines at that point likely led by Titus at that point. What do the rest of you think???? Comment your thoughts below on that being a possibility...
I been saying that necrons and introduced the battle sisters they don't have to be swarm just a nice size army love this game reminds me of gears and transformers hopefully some developers will make a gijoe game similar to this 💯
It’s too early to be saying they’re teasing about a new space marine game. I highly disagree with a new installment and prefer they keep the game alive and updating with a lot of content for years to come. 1. The game sold very very well has a lot of players and it earned a substantial amount of money which they can use for other updates and content. 2. Space marine 2 can be left alive for years to come just like For honor since that game has been out since 2017 and it’s still getting new content, like characters, armor and executions or another example like DBZ xenoverse 2 has been out since I think 2016 and it’s still getting updates and content. They’ll probably do that rather than a new space marine 3. 3. I do believe there’s going to be dlc story expansion and new faction enemies etc etc. waiting years for another installment and let SM 2 die like that wouldn’t make much sense when the game has so much potential.
Nah not a new faction, imagine all the work they will have to put on in such a small amount of time, new units, majoris/minoris, mini boss, balance, animation, all the finisher animation with all ennemy's with all weapon and new weapon coming.. it's only gonna be a new unit type, that's it sadly
If they have necrons with some World Eater nonsense popping for 3, honestly would lose my mind. I've always wanted to face the Necrons in a 3rd person setting that isn't a mod this time. As for swarm mechanics, Flayed ones and Scarabs for example could work
I swear if the drop this game already and start working on another title imma be pisses. Developers need to stop dropping games only to ditch them for a new title straight away…
The rating of the first episode of Secret Level are going to be ao misleading....because no one is going to watch Concord, can't wait to see the ratings compared to the Space Marine episode though.

what are you actually saying? the second sentence made no sense. But I saw the Necron like ships underground in the one mission towards the end
