I love how down to earth and relatable you always come across as. I don't think I'd have it in me to ever get a physique like yours, but you still make me want to try. Appreciate you and Brandon.
"I don't think I'd have it in me to ever get a physique like yours" if you're the one telling that to yourself, you're already your biggest enemy. You should be the person you can most count on.
@@oranpyre3932 You're right. I should be. Doesn't change the fact that I'm not. Wish I could believe in myself more but having crappy self esteem is what it is.
Dood is a staple of what a great life can look like as a middle aged person by implementing good habits and discipline overtime. Also writing this to remind myself to stay on track! Great content🖤
"It is amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to something." Truer words could not be said. Structuring the day is one of the most important things to be able to take advantage of my time. This is the year I will do so and no longer be putting things off so I can do my passions of music and fiction writing that you and I share.
Dad Dudes and Bachelor Dudes keep pumping and keep inspiring. The most important words in this video is "at this point in my life".. We do what we need to to make it happen fam. Thanks Buff Dudes

Some great advice here. Especially the "Try to do something you never thought you could start doing" in terms of creative outlets like an instrument or writing. Really inspiring stuff.
Great advice here. Mobility/stretching is a great addition to any routine. I agree with your ideology of pushing the comfortable zone slowly and consistently and no devices when winding down. Also, I personally like to lie in bed after waking up for about 5-10 minutes, lights off, no electronics and just think, plan and be grateful.
completely true! Being a retired IT Engineer I discover philosophy through a well-known french philosopher. Train my brain and my body (I was a karate instructor), reading books, walking on the beach because my wife and I bought an apartment in Portugal, lunch with family and friends are my main occupations. Good and very humble videos! Congratulations !
When I first started my journey a few years ago I would subscribe to almost every fitness UA-cam crap…. Last year I deleted all of them but this channel. Love the no nonsense and practical advice given here. Fitness is not a sprint but a journey. Thank you guys for the videos and the motivation!!
As someone, who's has written over 100.000 words in his sci-fi story, I appreciate this video very much. This is one of the two fitness channel I follow (Bioneer is amazing too), and if it has taught me anything, it's to have fun working out, and CONSISTENCY. Keep writing, man, I wish you much success with your book.
I can't believe the timing of this!! Just... wow. I have been trying to start writing on a book for ages, but I keep scewing up my nightly routines. I always tell myself I don't have the time or the energy, but just the last three nights I've spent at several hours on gaming and gone to bad waaay past bed time, when all I really wanted to do was write my book and get some sleep. I turn 41 today and when I woke up, it felt like a turning point. Like: Okay, this is it. Time to make a change. And then this video comes like a sign from the heavens. Just mindblowing. So thank you soo much! I felt everything in that video. From the mindless scrolling on the toilet, to spacing out with the wife and kids. You are now my official spirit animal for getting my shit together. Thank you
I needed this. I e been injured from work for the past 2 weeks and went from a steady routine to it being 2:30 in the afternoon and I’m just now getting up for the day. Your routine is what I’ve been striving for and I’m going to put the power of my mind to it and do it!
I used to draw all the time as a kid and seriously considered becoming a professional cartoonist at one point. Stopped in College. Recently decided I wanted to get back into drawing. So got myself a sketch pad and a set of pencils and schedule time to just doodle. So great to be back into it!
Man you have always gotten to me at the times I needed to see this. Just started kicking my own ass again and I'm going to do a better job of making these habits must-haves. STAYBUFF!
Thank you for focusing on the real deal stuff, family, and staying in the moment. I appreciate the positivity in your channel. really enjoying you guys
You became like a big brother for me and I think for 2.6 m. people. Amazing motivation and a nice example how to work on yourself. Started watching you accidantly and you really changed my life not only by creating all these beautiful videos but even by motivating me to start the workout channel on UA-cam to help people like you helped me to change my life. Best wishes from Ukraine you are great man!*
This guy has always amazed me. This has motivated me to use my time more wisely. Is this guy hot or what? He was incredible when he was younger. Even now that he’s older he still is incredible. Not ashamed to say I love and respect this Buff Dude. Always will.
Wisdom on life balance. I like the "be in the now" concept. Mindfulness. I'll start doing that more. My job always required so much analysis and reflection for the next day, but it takes a toll on your loved ones and your ability to decompress. Thanks Buff Dudes for the reminder to set boundaries.
I dont likeany youtubers but damn this guys got some personality . Your enjoyable to see brother somone i would walk up to an enjoy a conversation with about anything . Kool dude
OMG your kids are so big! I’ve missed a lot of your videos for a long time as well on my physique but I’m back at training and getting my shit back together that’s why I’m back here cause I love your videos!
Genuinely this has been my biggest struggle in life. My wife and I juggle 3 kids, I work 5 to 5, and it's been difficult to include "me" time. It is awesome to see how you have been able to do these things. I think I will definitely give these options a shot.
Thanks for sharing. I do many of these things and have a 2-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old daughter, so I understand the need for ritual and routine. Thanks very much for offering some helpful suggestions especially around the kids' bedtime. Go, Buff Dudes! 💪🤙
I started learning guitar 14 years ago on my shitty acoustic guitar with Seek and Destroy. I STILL remember how to play it all these years later. Good for you for learning the guitar, the beginning (the first 6 months) are by far the biggest hurdle in my opinion. Hearing the Metallica riffs in the background took be back to when I was learning.

I'm curious to see how this evolves as your children age. I found evenings much easier when mine were little. Now they are twelve and eight. Every night is booked or double booked. Sports, bands, musicals, choirs, exercise, confirmation classes. It's wild around here.
Couple more years and they will be deep in to their teen years not wanting to do any of it mate. Make the most of the time you have doing those things now.
Definitely a great routine. Been a working musician Singer/Guitarist for 15 years in my Alternative band, The Tortured. Need any tips, feel free to ask. I believe the world would be a better place if everyone learned an instrument. Music is the universal language that we all speak.
Awesome to see you making time for yourself to play guitar! 😎. Very cool about the science fiction book you are writing, too. I’ve written a few nonfiction books, and am half way through writing a novel as well. Love your channel!
Evening routine can be rough, I'd definitely like to try reading and doing the flexibility before bed... just hard to stick to. The educational piece and writing in the morning is good too. I've finally started reading/listening to audio tapes more to stimulate my brain a bit.

ESP LTD EC-1000! Nice ax, bro! 🤘 Also, a lot of really great advice here. My downfall has always been getting lost down a rabbit hole on my phone (UA-cam usually) right before bed. The next day I always feel more rested if I don't do that.

I've tried every routine that makes sense like this one. What I've learned is that you need to be Healthy! If you drink tons of coffee, eat like shit, don't work out, are always stressed, and/or you just don't feel right on a daily basis then your sleep will be shit not matter how well you implement any kind of fancy sleep routine like this one. The problem is that we spend too much time trying to treat the symptom (poor sleep) with sleep routines, fancy pillows, and other band-aids instead of dealing with the underlying reasons that cause poor sleep. Every time I get my diet right and exercise regularly, my sleep improves drastically. But the content must flow to keep the $$ coming in.
I'm so sick of watching TV and looking at my phone. I just scroll through Netflix and look at the same apps on my phone. I'd like to make better use of my time after work, which isn't spent looking at a screen, which I do 9-5 for my job anyway. Going to set a goal of doing up the basement this winter. Just needs a bit of DIY and mostly painting.
My dad always said SIBKIS (which i hated, and still do) See it big, keep it small. Another friend of mine said the same thing by telling me to focus on doing one step at a time. After a year of looking at the mountain of unfinished projects in his garage and not starting, he eventually said 'screw that', stopped looking at the big picture, and did one step. Another amazing video my friend, but what about spending time with your wife just the two of you, relaxing, talking about your and her day, planning about your day and family things??
Great content as always! I would love to see a more in-depth video on the night time mobility and stretching routine. I have been wanting to add this is to my own routine but don’t really know where to start.

No phone at least a half an hour before bed has been a game changer for my sleep. I have not thought to incorporate stretching at that time though. That seems like a great way to wind down for the night. Thanks for the idea!

The Buff Dudes with attitude YEAHH 💪
Rock on....good stuff. I love playing guitar. Nice ESP there. Lefty. Like it.
Awesome to see you making time for yourself to play guitar! 😎. Very cool about the science fiction book you are writing, too. I’ve written a few nonfiction books, and am half way through writing a novel as well. Love your channel!

Back in August I set out to lose 100lbs. I'm currently down 42 and one thing I noticed is the fewer calories I had towards bed, the easier it was to lose weight each day/week. So I started loading my breakfast up, then lunch and having smaller dinners.
That's contrary to the societal norm but I wake up feeling fresher, more energized and my goals are met quicker and easier.

Excellent choice in amp, love the Boss Katana!!!
Great material. Well done and thank you.
Love this channel. Keep up the great work!
ESP LTD EC-1000! Nice ax, bro! 🤘
Also, a lot of really great advice here. My downfall has always been getting lost down a rabbit hole on my phone (UA-cam usually) right before bed. The next day I always feel more rested if I don't do that.
I've been playing the same esp LTD m250 for almost 25 years now! They make great guitars.
Great video! Connecting with most individuals.

My dad always said SIBKIS (which i hated, and still do)
See it big, keep it small.
Another friend of mine said the same thing by telling me to focus on doing one step at a time.
After a year of looking at the mountain of unfinished projects in his garage and not starting, he eventually said 'screw that', stopped looking at the big picture, and did one step.
Eventually the one steps add up and you can look BACK at a motivating thing that becomes momentum, but always focus on the one step at a time.
It's helped a lot with our new house and I beat myself up less lol
Respect for living that awesome lifestyle and still learning guitar! Badass!

Awesome video man, super inspiring. Thank you! Sick guitar btw!
I really love this. Me and my wife’s is VERY close to this. Excellent content! Cheers, y’all!
