    Does it matter orbital or random orbital sander? Also the sanding paper and sander flap is hard is that ok

    I did a bonnet at the weekend and it’s got so much orange peel. I just used G360 which has improved it and was going to wet sand with just 1500 but having seen this I’m going to try your method. Thanks.

      its a good system, but instead of compounding after, i would go one step above to 3000k grit, or even more, it really cuts a lot of your buffing time, after sanding polishing will be child's play.

      Es recomendable usar más de 1 disco ya que el primero se va a ensuciar muy rápido y no es bueno pulir con el mismo sucio....puede rayar el clear.

    How do you know when to stop with 2000? Look for sanding scratches from 1500, or just have a standard number of passes?

      This is what I want to know.. if you’ve never done it, what exactly is it you’re looking to remove? I’ve noticed from the videos it tends to go an overall flat greyish colour? So when that looks flat I’m assuming it’s done..
      The last thing I’d want is to do it all, then polish with a wool pad and there’s still defect everywhere

    Great video amd detailing… quick question sir … where can I get that adapter you’re using on your DEWALT polisher/sander (connecting pad with machine adapter) ? I’d like something like that so I can use on my machines that currently use a 5/16 screw in attachment . Can you help with a recommendation for an adapter I would be able to use to interchange so I can use a variety of pads with all my machines … tyvm

    Svaka čast i hvala na podjeljenom znanju. Koja je potrošnja papira npr kad bi se radila kompletna hauba, odstranjivanje orange peel-a?
    Koje su recimo tri paste u tri cjenovna razreda koje bi preporučio?

    Pozdrav Alen,
    koliko ti tog prozirnog laka skineš. Nevidim da lak mjeriš ipak sa 1500 papirom brzo možeš proči. Ja želim isto prič na šlifanje zato pitam. Ali mislio sam sa 3000 da to radim jer me sa 1500 strah .

      Upravo sam pogledo to me je interesovalo. Kako sam skužio mašinom se neskida toliko kao ručno jer je mašina samo 3mm hub. Još nisam isprobo jer sam tek materijal narućio pa ču na jednoj staroj haubi isprobati. Imo sam mercedesa za poliranje i probo sam na jednom mjestu 6 puta polirat sa vunom i grubom pastom nisam 5my laka skino. Jedan lakir me savjetovo da probam šlifat da se slobodno usudim jer se poliri boje šlifanja. A ja u tvom video vidim da si ti oko 20my skino u roku 5minuta

    How many days do we have to wait after painting to remove the orange peel

    • @Amddetailing
      @Amddetailing  Рік тому

      everything depends on how the coating dries, it can be sanded immediately after painting, but in my opinion it is best to sand after 35 days, when all the material has done its job
