The prettiest, with most stars sky i have ever seen was in Merzouga. Marroco is a special place.

You should take more supercars to Morocco if they can survive in Morocco they car survive any where else
I did 4 days enduro riding in the Atlas / Sahara including part of the Dakar route, epic trip, have been back twice with the family, one of my favourite places in the world, beautiful scenery and lovely people (although the pestering you to buy something is a bit tedious, but needs to be seen in context of the poverty some people live in), have a hankering to take the Exige back to drive these very roads, including chicken tikka pass (as my kids christened it😀
This video would have been epic if the trip was well documented. However thanks to the brilliant narration the video was good.

I acknowledge many Moroccan counties are messy and marginalized but therefore there's many places you can visit and have fun, that was a really epic video!

That's really an awesome road trip and the pictures are stunning especially the last pic which was taken in night without any light. The 12C and the sky.
Evo, please make a roadtrip thru Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro and Croatia, there are some amazing roads, not so much traffic and beautifull scenery !
Tizi n tichka is one of the most dangerous roads of Morocco, you should be a really good driver to make it out at that speed especially with a car like that. I like the video and all the pictures you shot nice work!
By the way that "sand tornado" you saw is called a dust devil ;)

"sand tornado"....funny I see tons of these nearly every day going to and from work when driving through all the cotton fields. I have to stop and remember that's not something everyone sees.
The original F1 road car got me hooked on McLaren. This one I think mimics a lot of it's design queues and seems to be quite amazing all around for a supercar. I will have one.
Great vid Henry. Interesting choice - Morocco. Amazed you didn't damage a rim or at least get a puncture with all those potholes!...speaks volumes for the 12c's suspension. That and its ability to potter around quite comfortably in scorching heat. I'm a Ferrari man myself, but really like the 12c, particularly the Spider. I hear the 650S is a much better car, but I much prefer the looks of the earlier car.

Nice ,Tizi'n'Tichka with a super car :D never thought it could be possible ! and surprised the car didn't heat up ! that area is so hot and dry ! one of the most dangerous roads in the world ;)
A truly wonderful video. Everybody knows how complacent the 12c is on the road but can it really feel special all the time even on a long road trip? Does brilliance get boring after a while? Do you find yourself wishing for better fuel economy/more luggage space?

on another note, when mclaren loan a car like the 12c to evo, and as a long term test car, they HAVE to give it a lot of coverage, as it is basically advertising for mclaren, and if ya have access to a car a beautiful as this why would you not make as many videos as ya can, obviously you are a bmw fan, and nothing else is good enough. sorry to tell ya, but there is more to life than a bmw

Epic road trip! I'm with some of the other posters, the 12c looks better than the 650s. No doubt the 650s is the better machine to drive though.
great video. so sad they ruined the 12C by making it the 650S. I'd hold on to a 12C spider if I could. They are gonna be collector's items soon!
Found this channel today, its awesome. Do more of these story type things. Man how I'd love to take a supercar and do what you did. I would probably take the new Corvette ZO6 to Morocco.

This video reminds me of how wrong McLaren was in restyling such a timelessly beautiful car. Also, I don't believe that a starlit sky would light a car like in that photo… but this video got me dreaming, which is good ;-)

well here in morocco you gotta be carfull of driving on public roads and such people are aggressive here lol but when I went to the mountains with some friends in ferrari it's dangerous unless you know what you doing but I hate it when you have to pass another car on the road. it's frustrating. we don't drive the ferrari up there anymore we just take a motor bike or suv XD

Ferrari doesn't give cars to jounalists for a year. They don't need a lot of advertisement to sell their cars. Everybody knows how great 458 is.
Simply doesn't have a versatile/soft suspension like the 12C.

If only you didn't take the highway from Tangier to Marrakech but instead went trought the Rif mountains it would have given you the opportunity to try some amazing roads, also Essaouira Agadir is a new road aswell, but oh well I guess you guys had limited time maybe be next time.
As for border, patrol brides were the thing a while ago but in the last years, every getting caught pays darely, there is also a green number you can call if someone annoys or ask you for bride, they'll equipe you with a camera and mic, and if the guy takes brides to do your paper work they'll get arrested immediatly, The things is there is alot of stolen cars coming from europe that try to get sold in Morocco, they use an Insurrance trick, somone sells a car to someone and gives 24hr/36hr till he declares it's stolen in europe the time necessary for the car to get trought the borders, and verification once that done the guy in europe declares his car to be stolen and get refunded by his insurance, hence they probably were doing all the necessary verification with the car

The Inside evo series is a true bore, I cannot make it through the whole thing. I was a fan of the evoDiaries series by Harry Metcalfe with its video, editing, and commentary styles. Shame he had to move away from the magazine.
