Can you show how to make elote?
Oh my goodness, Looks so good....I'm Vietnamese but i LOVE Mexican food one of the best cuisines in the world
I’m right there with you sis. Mexican food reminds me of Viet food. I love both.
I agree 👍💯
@@Linda-tm2im very true! Cilantro, limes, and chilis are pretty common in both cuisines. Delicious✨
Same I’m part viet and here I am LoL
Try this with a cold glass of lemongrass tea!
Mexican food is underrated. I think I it is one of the best.
absolutely!
I made it tonight and everyone said they were the most delicious ever! I agree. So tasty. Will always be my “secret recipe.”
Jajaja 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You’re secret recipe??? Lol atta boy
Thanks for sharing your secret recipe with us bro
I just wanted to say, on 2/22/22 did a big taco Tuesday event hosting my Mom, and wife's family. I used your marinade recipe for carne asada, recipes for taco salsa, refried beans, and red salsa. (My Mom also made some fried bread as we are Alaskan Native, so we made what they called Navajo Tacos as one of the items)
Everyone was blown away, especially by the refried beans and I never seen my wife's family go crazy over any kind of food like they did for the red salsa. I had a bunch of diced tomato and onion available, and realized I needed to cook them, so I sweated them and followed the recipe and oh my goodness I have never had salsa like that. My Mom later texted me telling me I was a good cook. I credit you and all of your amazing and wonderful videos. Your videos are fantastic and you are awesome at teaching and sharing of your cultural recipes. Thank you and you are welcome here in AK anytime!

Sounds like a heck of a party! Great job 👍🏻
Great job

I am from eastern Europe, but Mexican food is my favorite. I love the sauces, the spices, the random combos you guys make, especially seafood (oysters, shrimp, etc.) When I make tacos I always like to get the smallest tortillas, for some reason those taste the best to me. Also thank you for the video.
as a mexican i approve this message lol i cant explain why but when you try the small tortilla it is always better haha
My family is mostly polish. Mexican/southwest food is far less depressing than east European food lol.
hahaha I am from the Mediterranean and Mexican food is by far my favorite too. I literally just got done posting pretty much exactly what you said on another video just 2 minutes ago! nothing comes close to mexican food, there is just so many dishes so many great complex flavors.. its hard to beat it imo....
Mexican, Japanese and Italian, my three favorite types of food.....
Try African food. It’s hard to find tho I usually get it from family friends.
I enjoy sushi in a tortilla covered with marinara!
Mexican, Hispanic foods, and Asian foods are absolutely top notch. Best flavors, styles, and textures.
Im mexican - Italian and i love Japanese food
The Holy Trinity of food
Back once again. My wife and daughter love this recipe. Me too. Thank you.
I love this. I’m married to a Mexican so when my in laws come over I can cook something the entire family will love. Thanks for the quick carne asada video.
Enjoy with your family!

I just subbed. I never thought of adding soy sauce to a carne asada marinade. I have only used it with Asian inspired dishes. This looks amazing. I have to try it. If it's good, I will give the recipe to my suegra. My wife is Mexican, but she can't cook. Well, she can toast bread. Basically, I am the cook in the house. So I'm lucky. My suegra shares all of her recipes with me instead of her daughter. She taught me how to clean and cook lengua for tacos. She also taught me how to make pambazos, (she let me go with her to buy the bread too), pozole, birria, and salsas that are spicy as hell. Authentic Mexican cuisine is on point.
That was by far the best carne asada marinade I've ever used!! I doubt that I'll ever use another it's just plain that good.
I want to give my testimony! This marinade gives the meat such a great flavor. You just can’t stop eating the meat it’s so good.
I really appreciate creators like you ..thank you
Thank you, I was stationed in San Diego years ago. Stuck in the north east now. I so miss good food. Introducing this to my wife this weekend. I'm sure she will be asking me to cook it for her quite often
😄 Enjoy!
If I could choose only one type of food to eat for the rest of my life it would be Mexican food. I will literally eat it until my stomach hurts. Crisps and salsa are my favourite. You're lovely by the way.
Chips and salsa are the best!
I live in south tx and probably eat enchiladas and puffy tacos, and carne guisada twice a week for lunch. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Every Mexican food is delicious.

OMG! Made this tonight and it was fantastic! The marinade really accentuates the flavor of the beef and the rich flavors that set this apart from any other carne asada recipe I've tried. I used two 1 lb. Flat iron steaks and grilled them over a ripping hot charcoal fire. Tender, flavorful and delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe! Tomorrow night is chilis rellenos.
Glad you love it

I've never seen carne asada cooked over oak logs on a weber kettle like this before.
You should call it, The Oak & Asada method. I'm going to break in my new weber with this method in honor of this cook. Good stuff!!!

Made this again tonight, because it is snowing in Maine, and I want to remember the summer!
Love it!
The best carne asada !! The fam really loves it !! It’s packed with flavor !! This is the only recipe you need thank you so much!!
Used this recipe last night to surprise my husband with for diner. He loved it! It was delicious and instructions were very easy to follow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I look forward more deliciousness from your videos.
This is a quality video right here! They look amazing too btw!
We made this last night. It is my go to carne asada now.
The only thing I would change is letting the meat rest on an elevated bakers rack. We have one that fits perfectly inside a baking pan to capture the juices. Putting meat on a plate will not let the meat cool evenly and there will be excessive meat juice loss.
I lived and grew up in a trailer park in Arizona. It was a small town right next to the border and every summer I loved how all our neighbors would get together every weekend and they all would make carne asada and the smell along was dreamy, the taste was euphoric. I miss my community because our neighbors were so kind to bring us into the fold and really made us feel like we were apart of the family and the community. I miss that so much!
Wow! Meat looks perfectly cook! Homemade salsa certainly looks so delicious and adding a little view of your garden PRICELESS! That's a big plus! Thanks for sharing!
Damn this recipe is money! Beautiful taco.

Can’t believe I’ve been missing this channel. This is one of my favorite things to eat! Tried cooking some myself for the first time a few months ago. Need to work on my tenderness. But the flavoring was 👌. I’m gonna search to see if have a barbacoa recipe on here. BTW, subscribing 👍

I have been watching all your videos and cooking your recipes....thank you so very, very much! You do a very good job, the camera loves you, the food is delicious and it is so generous of you to share with us! I was a little boy when my grand mother passed and never had the chance to ask her for her recipes....your food reminds me so much of her! THANK YOU!
We get good steak here in Kansas City, and we have some excellent restaurants too. IMO, my steak compares very favorably with all but a few select steak houses. I cooked your recipe tonight following it very closely with the exception of the cumin. I am ok with cumin, but my wife is definitely not a fan. I am sure it would have been ok, but I didn't want to risk it. To make a long story short, this was one of if not the tastiest pieces of beef that I have ever prepared. Both of us were blown away. Thank you so much!
Awesome!!! Im glad you enjoyed it so much! you have me hungry just thinking about it.
I used to feel the same about cumin but after trying it in a few recipes I’ve found that it makes a tasty difference. The key is not using too much
OMG, so beautiful. And the meat is just a gorgeous.
I made carne asada for the first time using this recipe and it was incredibly delicious. Thanks.
Phenomenal recipe. Thank you for sharing. The meal was amazing!

Loved your tips. I'm planning to try it.
I love this marinade. So flavorful. Highly recommend it.
Red Oak is amazing. A local restaurant I used to go to grilled their tri tips over red oak, it gave it such a delicious flavor. I'm going to try this for sure!
I enjoy cooking, but that's the first time I fully understood what it means to cut against the grain. Thanks!!!
Happy to help!

Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRACIAS!
I had these tacos for the first time in the 70' as street food in Austin at a festival and have been a fan but the flavor since wasn't quite right but I think this marinade is the difference. It's next on the grill. Thanks and the video was outstanding.
