Wow, you used the entire bottle of Modelo! I thought for sure the subtitles would say "use half" and then we would all watch as the other half headed in the direction of your face! Nice slo-mo shot near the end with the smaller piece coming off the grill and dripping.
I did hangin ribs tonight but SHAZAAMM!!..THOSE LOOK BOMB.... gonna have to try this 1.. I wanted to dance but but uhm. Not in th right spot cuz I'm uhh in my video watchin zone. Hehe. Anywhaaay nice touch on th slow mo beer.. rock awwwn
You want the temps to be high. The higher the better the sear. 500F is good but you also want a zone with no charcoal so you can bring your meat to when your sear is good.
Hey Samuel. I'm using Dalstrong's Shadow Black Series. Here's a video of my whole collection. Not only do they just look and feel super awesome but I'm still so happy with them! ua-cam.com/video/pLahJzLK3yw/v-deo.html
Yes! BUT………not as thorough as heat cooks meat. The process is more gentle and it won’t “overcook” the meat as heat can do. The lime, in this case, actually works in 2 ways for us. First it removes the residual heat that could possibly overcook our meat and then it gently takes over………. AND adds more flavor! So that’s 3 😀
Les, I hafta apologize. I answered your question thinking this video was actually the video below where I took some picanha that was cooked to rare and added lime juice to the meat to keep it tender and gently cook the meat to a med-rare. To answer your question on marinating the carne-asada with lime and it “cooking” the answer is no. The way acid “cooks” proteins is different from how we use heat to cook. Heat will overcook protein in a way that will end up removing all its moisture and you end up with a dried up meat. Acid can break down enzymes that can tenderize proteins. A good example is when using heat to cook shrimp the temperature causes the shrimp to turn pink. When cooking shrimp in lime juice the shrimp stay grey but both are edible. ua-cam.com/video/U38912I3774/v-deo.html
Nah, it’s got a good sear but that ain’t burnt. Look how you can still see some pink inside. Legit carne asada be over cooked but mine was tender, seared and delicious! 😎👍🇲🇽
All the fresh seasonings cooked to perfection and a plate to die for👍
Thank you John! ✌😁👌
This was awesome to watch, felt like I was watching a Tarantino movie about carne asada.
Awesome compliment brother! 😆👍
This!
The slow mo for the beer sold me. I’m doing this one!!!! So many crap videos out there and this one didn’t need a word. Nice job!

Looks amazing! Do you know if there’s anything I can use in place of the beer because I’m allergic to alcohol. Thank you!
Use fresh squeezed oranges. 😎👍
O'Douls Non alcoholic beer
Marion wine
That is amazing!
Great presentation and looks delicious!😋
I appreciate that thank you 😎👍
Nice, I use soy sauce instead of beer for my marinade and some vinegar. That's the only difference from your marinade and the one I make.
I'll have to try that! Thanks

Always great to hear from you!
Glad you liked the video brother!!
I wonder would that work with New York steak.
Good question.
Strip steaks are usually perfect with just salt & pepper but this would also work.
Mannn! That looks delicious
I appreciate the comment!
😎👍
Last time I made carne asada I marinated it in taco seasoning. It was tough, I either over cooked it or idk how to make it tender
Use my recipe and let me know what you think
How hot and how high should the temperature on the grill be before slapping the carne on the grill?
You want the temps to be high. The higher the better the sear. 500F is good but you also want a zone with no charcoal so you can bring your meat to when your sear is good.
Looks sooo bomb ty
Thanks for watching!!
Would it be fine if I marinate it for about 15 hours or would it be to potent?
Try it!!!!
😎
What's the name of the theme song to this video? I like
Aw bro I’m not sure! 🤔
How do you get the meat that red color? More chili powder???
There’s no chili powder in the marinade. 🤔
Great job
Thanks for watching!!
😎👍
What brand of knives are you using?

Can I use a different beer?
Use a beer you would drink on the hottest day ever! Something refreshing!!!!
Can you use ground beef?
Definitely!
Link for the garlic jalapeno seasoning?
I don’t know why it’s not allowing me to give the link but you can find it on Amazon. Heath Riles Garlic Jalapeño Rub.
I use sunny D over beer but looks good !
Yup. That works as well. Growing up we used to use Tampico.
@@madswinebbq oh I must try that .
@@madswinebbq orange flavor ?
@@mikelopez4148 yup. In the 80’s that’s all we had.
@@madswinebbq 80s! Yeah i feel like beer takes the flavor away when I used beer it makes it bland but hey to each their own .
What knife is this bro

What are those peppers you have on the grill?
Those are Chile Gueros.
😎👍
Dawg the other ppl said to put worchershire sauce in it
The truth is you can really put anything in it, but the this is my simple go-to method.
But this is 😏
Did you use all those limes?
Hellz yeah!! 😝👍
Rockin!
Thanks for watching!

Let what sit?
What can you sub for the beer?
I’m not sure.
Not long enough, more like 2 days is better
More like, make your own video is even better!
What where the ingredients?
Sorry, it’s basically
Garlic
Onion
Cilantro
Salt
Pepper
Modelo Especial beer
Limes
Eyeball the amounts and enjoy!
Good one Señor blanco 👍 🇲🇽
Thank you!
? Why marinate AND a rub?
Great question!
Marinating is designed to breakdown/tenderize and rubs/seasoning is for flavor.
Hmmmmm
FreaKKKing Hilarious 😂😂😂 Comment. The hands look a bit Hispanic-ly Beefy to me.
👋😎🇲🇽
Dear god! Get on with it!
Dear god! Get off my channel!
You let it burn to much bruh!
Nah, it’s got a good sear but that ain’t burnt. Look how you can still see some pink inside. Legit carne asada be over cooked but mine was tender, seared and delicious!

Bad Ass
Thanks for watching brother!!
Are you single?
I’m happily engaged! 😎
Thanks for asking!
This marinade is average at best. Let's face it, Texas ( American) marinades are where its at! 🇺🇸🙏👍
Thanks for your comment.
Bro came out of left field with that extra sodium intake 🧂 commentary
