To be fair 2 million net worth isn't THAT much. A first class round trip during peak holiday season that distance is a lot of money, and since he mentioned grandpa odds are that wealth is mostly generational meaning his daddy isn't earning $180k a year, he's living off his daddy's money and probably earning less so that $2k just for travel is a good sized chunk of his income.

We have a narcissist in our family and my grandson has been trying to get a divorce from her for over 5 years and now her FOURTH attorney has quit on her. That's why he can't seem to get rid of her cause they keep quitting and giving the reason: IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH. It's a mental state. They should put all narcissists in a cell together and see how that goes.

I would bet that only one in a thousand follows-thru with lawsuits. It's too expensive, takes years, and time consuming--and attorneys won't take a case on a contingency unless the situation is extreme. What I've learned from working towards my MBA degree is that businesses are very happy to lose complainers as they cost too much in everyone's time to include management's time to handle, and a business can make no profit off them. Better to have customers who don't complain as that is their profit base--everyone else they WANT to leave. In short, if you don't like a business, don't complain (or complain gently) and give the ultimate complaint by going to other airlines.

All these people who are crying about family being in the hospital or dying and then trying to shame the attendants are so stupid. If they were so concerned about getting to their loved ones, then maybe they should have thought about that before acting like complete morons. Also, how do people still do this and not realize just how bad it's gonna go for them? Hope they enjoy being on the no fly list. Kiss travel goodbye for the rest of your life.

Was at the airport and I missed the connecting flight, and I was standing in line to see what could be done. A Karen was in front of us freaking out. After she was done and stormed off I asked the airline lady if she needed a min and explained I already missed my flight, so if she needed to take a breather to take a min or two that was fine by me (there was no one else behind me). She took a sip of water, sighed, took a deep breath and then asked "how can I help?"
"I know there is nothing tonight as you have already said, so I just need to re-book for tomorrow and maybe you know of a hotel nearby where I can stay the night?"
"I can actually put you on standby for the red-eye flight, usually people cancel at the last min and we might be able to get you on there."
I didn't get on the red-eye, but she did give me an employee voucher thingy for a discounted room.
Moral - Be kind, no one is really out to get you.

Very likely. The better options is not to do business with that airline again--and to be quite about that decision, except to complain to friends and family. Then your complaint effects a company's bottom line. Airlines don't want the business of people complaining or causing problems--they make no money off them. If you ran an airline, would you want the kind of people in this video doing business with you....and I'm talking the less confrontational cases such as the old lady who had a minor argument with another passenger whose mother-in-law had died. Better to pick your customers, shed yourself of those who are complainers as they'll never be satisfied and consume management's time.

People need to understand that a whole team of professionals has to work accordingly to the protocols just to get a single plane to take off. Ground staff, cabin crew, security, all involved have to coordinate perfectly just to get a single person on board, because a single minor mistake can be fatal (so no ma'am you cant open the emergency exit to take a stroll). @@SombraPiloto You are correct. When it comes to Spirit, there is no need to make up "shit" (pardon the pun). Coming out of the Great Recession of 2008-2010, all of the ULCCs were looking for ideas to increase revenues in ways that no airline had previously considered. Ireland-based Ryanair was the first to propose charging for bathroom access. Across the pond, Spirit jumped on board and floated a trial balloon. It quickly became clear that, while Spirit passengers might be willing to pay extra for carry-on bags, soft drinks, and seat assignments, they would draw the line at potty access. At that time, there was a bill proposed in Congress to mandate free access to airplane restrooms. As I recall from the distant past, the bill was dropped when Spirit announced that they had no intention of charging for potty privileges (though it was clearly a viable option a few days earlier). Frankly, I think Spirit realized that their typical customer would simply piss/crap into a cup, and leave it on their seat, rather than spend $1-2 to use the luxurious facilities on the plane. The additional cleaning costs would far exceed any potty revenue.
