A dark and rainy Halloween at The Vet pits NFC East rivals Dallas and Philadelphia in a crucial mid-season showdown. Both teams enter the day with identical 4-2 records, with the winner being assured of moving into a first-place tie with New York atop the division standings.
Will Ken O'Brien, filling in for the injured Randall Cunningham, get the job done, or will it be the defending champion Cowboys extending their winning streak to five games?
Jim Nantz and Randy Cross call the game for CBS. Enjoy!

Thanks for this game, Ryan Bush! I'm home with stomach flu and about all I'm good for right now is watching youtube videos. Anyway, "liked" and "subscribed".

It seemed like Aikman always had tough games against the Eagles but Emmitt Smith always had monster games against them.

Aikman always had trouble throwing a wet football. He never used the laces when gripping the football. Bud Carson was a heck of a defensive coordinator.

Give and take. You can't rush the QB with that kind of commitment and still bottle up the run.

Teams don’t have these pounding running games…sometimes you need that to take pressure off your quarterback.

I remember tricker treating in the snow and getting home to watch this. My Dad said Emmitt was on pace to rush for 250 yards!

Jerry Jones think she can interfere run the team in don't allow the coach them to do their job and he needs to get out the way and let them do their jobs so they can bring a championship just like Jimmy Johnson did

It just came a time with Jimmy said he can't take it no more and Jerry said he wanted to get rid of Jimmy and see that was the worst day ever and he said and see every time Jerry thinks he can do it on his own in the front office it hasn't produced nothing

I did not remember that Obrien played for Philly. He couldn't have lasted very long.I do remember how when the Jets took Obrien in the draft, the fans revolted because everyone thought the Jets were going to take a guy named Marino. What ever happened to Marino?

Another game saved by the Dallas defense. They barely withstood what the Eagles threw at them but they played just good enough and came away tied for first with NY. The combination of the Eagles secondary playing extremely well and Aikman playing poorly made this game much closer than the final score. After the second illegal motion penalty resulted in a barely good Eddie Murray FG and a 16-10 lead about halfway through the 4th Charles Haley got a strip sack in pouring rain that derailed the next Philly possession. Then the Dallas luck that hasn't happened since the mid-90s struck: on 2nd and 4 with just under 4 remaining Emmit ran untouched right up the middle for a 62 yard TD run setting a new Cowboys single game rushing record of 237 yards on 30 carries in the process. If Randall Cunningham had been healthy I expect the Eagles win this game but with recently signed Ken O'Brien, they lose.
