Did you use old thrust washers or you had to obtain new ones? I watched several installation videos about Aussie/TORQ and there are some very tight specks based on thrust washers' size.
One of the three benefits this locker has versus the older model as listed in the torqmasters.com website is: “Easiest Locker on the market to install, no spacers, no dowel pins, no measurements” and then I come to this installation video to find out that you do have to take measurements (5:45) so which is it? Measurements or not?
Ah. Can't imagine its all that difficult anyway. Ordered a the Torq Locker for my D30 last week and was just wanting to watch an actual install. But, I'm sure it'll be easy!
@@lokientertainment3843 How does it behave on paved roads? What are the safe conditions to use it on paved roads/highways? What is the safe speed to engage 4H on the paved road ? I have plans to install it into my daily driven Jeep with D30 front and D44 rear LSD (Jeep LJ). 99% of the time is driving city/Hwy. Gathering information.
@@lokientertainment3843 There is an issue driving wintertime on plowed roads. You never know where would be both tires on low traction surface or just one. This bothers me the most. I am from Ontario, and it really depend on local services. Some places could be well plowed, other poor or partially. As a technically educated person, could you explain using technical language how do TORQ Masters build TORQ Locker quieter than Aussie?
I’m late but damn you made this look easy.
Loki
I wanted to see it in action!!!
They make it for my 14 bolt corporate and would love to see what it takes to lock up.
Would this work in my jk with 3:21 gears in the D30

Hi Loki!
Is it a 27 spline D30? How well it serves you after these 3 years of being in service?

What happens if the gap isn't to spec? Do you have to get different sized shim rings, the thing you kept from the old set of gears?
@@lokientertainment3843 OK good to know.
American made but Aussy branding lol.
