Hey thanks mate appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. The restraint thing is for me the best thing about shooting film, instead of blazing away with digital and chewing through memory cards to then spend hours sifting through them to find the shot, with film you get very limited chances so you have to exercise discipline. What camera(s) do you shoot?
@@paultaylorphotography9499 Agreed, one hundred percent. For my M-F job, I shoot a Fuji GFX 50sII and a Canon 6d mkII as a backup. For my personal work, I primarily focus on film; I use a Pentax 645nII setup and a Canon Eos-3.
@@WildAnalog great line up of gear, I looked long and hard at the GFX I keep fancying an upgrade from the X100f, but the GFX for what I do is overkill, so when I do finally upgrade I'll look at the X-pro line up I love the range finder shape. I have a pentax spotmatic 35mm kit which I love, the 645 would be a pretty welcome addition. At work for the paper we shoot the Eos 1Dx they are bricks, never fail to do the job everytime they just work. Damn so many great camera to shoot not enough years left or money in the account to try them. Saying that there's not enough money in the account to pit diesel in the van these crazy days.
Love your enthusiasm. Some cracking shots too, and just remember as you stand in the icy ocean in your bare feet...no pain, no gain right? Great stuff. Had to subscribe, and especially as I've just gone back to shooting film and acquired an ETRSi

@@danalforque6651 algorithms are a mission this thing can be so frustrating gain a few loose a few I honestly try hard not to dwell on the numbers or lack there of I’ll just do what I do and if others take an interest it’s a much appreciated bonus. Hi Paul. Superb pix. Q1) The differences in colours (ie. vloggin' vs. film) came from ? Q2) Sharpest (corner to corner) Zenzanon 4 ETRSi lenses are ? Superb images ! Congrats, MAN !
Cheers mate re colour diff I don’t do any corrections on my vids other than adding a bit of contrast the film shots I keep a close to how they come out as possible only adding contrast too I’ll lift shadows drop highlights that’s about it for editing when I shoot digital cameras the colours generally match the vids more accurately. Regarding lenses I’ve not done any comparisons but my lenses for the Bron are ME I’m told the far better option is the PE lenses so if you’re looking at buying I’d go with PE but that’s only from what I’m told. That made me laugh, you moaning about the cold weather and standing on the beach in your shorts. You must have forgotten what the east coast of England is like in winter. 🤣 Awesome shots though buddy, and the colours were outstanding. Oh yeah it will be an ETRS or Si. 👍👍
😂😂different degrees of cold mate😂 in march 2011 I was back in Yorkshire went to Filey with some mates on a crisp cold day I swear they were takin the piss they decided we go swimming it was the fasted most bone freezing dip of my life 🥺 all good mate you’ll love the Etrs lovely camera 📷📷
