- The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

I bought a $2 baggie of stuff at Salvation Army. It had a postcard of a restaurant in Portland OR that no longer exists. The card was new old stock and unposted. I listed it and it brought $158! I couldn't believe it. There was a bidding war over this postcard

OMG Those Tupperware measuring cups! I got married in '78 when avocado green and harvest gold was the in colors. I still have the green ones.
LOL...spoon swirl scratching = tool marks. That is that utensil marks on dishes is called. Use the powder form of Barkeepers Friend to remove.

Also used liquid bar keepers friend and baking soda!
Try the powder can of Barkeeper's Friend. I used it on the inside of a set of bowls that had been stacked & were scuffed. Took All the marks off. Look almost Brand New. It's not as abrasive as Ajax.Magic eraser sometimes leaves dull streaks on certain surfaces.

Oh ! About the Tole painted Bird Tray; People around Here Collect Them. You could always put it in your Booth and list on E-Bay. I'd shine it up with some polish or beeswax before photographing. Would be nice on a Hutch or Shelf with Crockery on display.

Works a treat for those grey utensil marks on plates and inside coffee cups and bowls.
It never fails to remove them for me!

(hence the RRPCo) of Roseville Ohio. It should NOT be confused with the slightly more collectible Roseville Pottery, (possibly of Zanesville) also made in Ohio.

That Bob Dylan poster came with a 33rpm album in the late 1960's. It was reissued recently so you need to figure out which one you have. If it was folded, it very well might be one that came inside of the album.
That's exactly what I thought even though I was very young when that came out. I remember lots of posters being in albums. I just looked it up and saw one person selling it for over $1,100😮

There was an older man that shopped our Goodwill everyday and his daughter gave him a 22:04 surprise birthday party in the Goodwill I was surprised that Goodwill went along with it but they had cake and all the decorations he was so surprised and had such a good time

The "Roseville" crock you found at 6:54 was made by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company OF Roseville Ohio. It is NOT Roseville Pottery. Roseville Pottery was made in Zanesville Pottery.
The key to limiting squirrels at your bird feeder is a seed mix that has a hot pepper coating. Birds cannot taste the hot pepper 🌶️, like mammals.
Peek Polish (comes in a tube like toothpaste) or Bar Keepers Friend for removing utensil marks. The Goodwill in my area was asking $29.99 for Starbucks mugs! Crazy!!
When it comes to glass... I love clear!! With food, you can see all the beautiful, colorful fruit inside... or the M&M!!

For your mug, bar keepers friend. With the powder I mix a bit of warm water with it and make a paste. Then scoop up the paste with a sponge and scrub away. Use a little lighter touch on the outside. To extra clean the mug prior to scrubbing, in a spray bottle with distilled vinegar, spritz the mug with the vinegar before scrubbing. That's all I got!!! Hi Roger!!!💞💞🙃💞💞

I have been watching you for over two to three years. But never have introduce myself. Live in Salem Oregon. I had a booth at a antique shop after I retired. I love it, but then the shop lost their lease. And then covid hit. Never got back into it. But I loved the hunt and did a lot of painted furniture for the booth.. Love your channel. I jump for joy that Roger and You got married. I could see it in your eyes that there was love in the air. You balance each other out. I love that he blushes when you put him on the spot. And he doesn't have an answer. FYI, Barkeepers cleaning powder will remove the marks on your cup. I use it on my dishes and Pyrex items. It doesn't scarch the finish. Take care, big hug, always.

You can mix cayenne pepper with the bird seed... it won't hurt the birds but the squirrels don't like it.
I went to an estate sale recently and the woman of the house was an extreme collector. Anyway, there were boxes and boxes of Bella Lux rhinestone and enamel mini frames for $1 each. At the time I didn't realize what a score that was and I am kicking myself now. The ones I did buy sold very quickly for a great profit as single frames.
The poster was sold in the album, thus folded up and when pulled out it became the size of a small poster. Yep Bob Dylan.... also there is one in an album of Jimmy Hendrix... Late 60's maybe...💞💞🙃💞💞

The Dylan poster may have come out of a music album. Those fold lines look to be “album size”. I had a few posters back in the day.

Yeah, that's what I just said and I looked it up and indeed it did. We're right! It came from a greatest hits album in about 1965 if I recall correctly
@@LannieLord not true... They are making reproductions of this poster which says a lot. Finding an album from the 60s is a huge thing but to find the insert is even a bigger thing because people would stick them on their walls and they would often rip when they came down. If you look through the images, the Vintage posters are almost all upwards of 1100 dollars. Bob Dylan is not just an old folk singer he is an American icon and being that he's in his early eighties and still performing I can't imagine what his memorabilia will be worth after his death... I have inherited about 120 T-shirts from the 70s and 80s punk bands and many t-shirts and sweat shirts of Elton John and David Bowie. My brother was heavily into Punk but he was a Pianist and a huge Elton John (and Bowie) fan. Anyway, I recently did some research about this and much of the t-shirts I have are worth quite a bit. A lot of it depends on the obscurity of the band or the popularity but the older iconic shirts like Madman and Caribou are also worth a lot. They were almost sent to the Goodwill! I was very close to my brother and grabbed most of his clothes just because I couldn't let go of my baby brother. I didn't know how valuable they were ... 😥❤ RIP Eric Rissolo

Just because one person "got lucky" does not mean that $80.00 on those pans , is an everyday price. I learned this by looking up comps myself and then TRYING to get the same price (does not work as often as you wish). Kat the Nurse Flipper said herself you may see a recent high price on a certain item; that can mean that ONE person got lucky. It happens a LOT on eBay. Wilton Molds are like any other household item. It gets used and then PUT AWAY for the next time .
Roger knows his stuff… he’s a keeper even if it’s just for his knowledge but he’s cute too😊😊😊 you guys are a great team between the both of youse the amazing things found unbelievable ❤❤❤

I love little chairs! Collect antique ones and some newer ones. 2 weeks ago, I got a child's chair similar to your but mine was painted white. I'm handpainting a big rose colored flower on it.

I live in Springfield Oregon about ten minutes from Autzen Stadium and the Oregon Ducks. Phil Knight (Nike) is to the U of O what Michael Jordan is to the Carolina Tarheels. Major financial contributor. Was hilarious when you asked Roger how he just knew Beaverton was the home of Nike😂. Also funny when the next clothing item Roger pulled out was an Oregon shirt! The man knows his sports!

That pin game Roger had may have been a larger version of the peg game you find in restaurants. Where you start with one missing and you “jump” over another peg, remove it and keep jumping. Trying to only have one peg left. Just a thought. I love watching you shop together, so fun!

I only buy squirrel proof birdfeeders. That's a great feeder find! I've always wanted one of those so I can watch the flying squirrels LOL! Love watching you both! ❤️
To keep squirrels at a minimum or not at all use saffron seed. Song birds 🐦 love it and squirrels don't. 🐿
Goodwill needs major improvement on how their stores look inside. 2nd Avenue Thrift is so much better. I've started donating to 2nd Avenue because they give to the Purple Heart Foundation. Good Stuff in Langhorne, PA is another good thrift store that gives to Children's Hospitals.

Love this video as always! I use pictures from old art/landscape/design books to replace art in frames. Books are inexpensive and plentiful and the photos work great to elevate the look of some frames

Hello. Find a paste called "pink stuff" for the spoon marks on any coffee mug. It also works on losts of other items like stoneware and pan bottoms.

I have a rattan/wicker floor vase from Big Lots from early 2000's really nice well made one that sells for over a hundred on E Bay now as well as a huge art metal sun that also sell for good money. don't discount Big Lots they use to get close outs or overstock from some of the higher end stores.😊
