To be fair, pinball in the 40s and 50s was a much different game. And it was literally controlled by the mob.. there was a time when it wasn’t nearly as controlled and was much more open to chance. Much like Mr Zahler here, Roger also has a kid (2 actually) who are pinball wizards.
Watching this makes me even more anxious to go to the Texas Pinball Festival at the end of March! Just sucks that Stern is the only one making machines anymore, I just wait for the day that pinball machines become popular again...
He's a pinball wizard There has to be a twist. A pinball wizard's got such a supple wrist. 'How do you think he does it? I don't know! What makes him so good?'
Pretty interesting game I'll say. It's a game I wouldn't expect at most places though. The thing is that places love the latest stuff while also trying to have various old games as well. Out of older games I've seen there usually is a ton of bally/Williams stuff from late 80s - 90s.
@@alejandroramirez4470 Some of the best 90's machines are SEGA's. In my opinion at least and SEGA doesn't get the recognition it deserves I think. Machines like Baywatch, Batman Forever, Twister, Starship Troopers... amazing machines.
@likilikiki not sure I've ever seen the other 3. In most places I've been so far in the southern California area you'll see common games. Maybe people have Sega games in their home collection.
if you see this comment, and then don't read your comment you left 8 years ago and cringe at how lame it was, then you literally haven't grown as a person whatsoever. hashtagging yourself. that you are a savage. after leaving such a retarded comment. LOL.
Can't believe people would think that pinball was a game of chance and would go as far as to destroying them. Thank you, Roger!

I had a chance to visit this place while in NYC and it's awesome!
Did you have to pay game by game or a entry fee?
Zahler’s son is a pinball prodigy. Not exactly a kid anymore, but I just watched him beat Levi Nayman in tournament play a few months ago.

They can make some serious money selling beer. Are they letting the patrons go thirsty?

What this place should offer is lessons to people that don't know how to play pinball...
That is awesome.

How do they make money if punks just come and play and don't buy anything
They have payment tiers. Pay by the hour, several hours (possibly), or the entire day. I believe a day pass is $20.
Does he play for money?
his son does. and wins tournaments (for money)
Pinball is easy, being a pinball world champ is like being the world champ of being able to breath oxygen. #GrittySavage
