My God, I'm 15 years old and I'm from Argentina, my dad showed me all his favorite childhood games and I loved them, since then I started playing many retro games. My dream is to have a room like this and to enjoy with my dad all his childhood games and more
I have never seen a home arcade like this.I felt by watching a tour of your arcade that I was transported to the 80’s or early 90’s at best! You have got the absolute best arcade games! You must never get bored at your house! Your Family & Friends must have a field day at your home! It’s so amazing!
Bah, if you only do this rarely with all of them on at the same time it's fine. Just turn on the ones you're about to play. Now, if he has them on all day, every day, that electrical bill is gonna hurt.

@@thebasementarcade That is the most positive response I have ever seen from a UA-camr with a home arcade like this (especially with you not bashing the arcade1ups). You just got an instant sub from me. I'm also doing the same with arcade1ups (have 8 already). But as soon as I get a home (currently live in an apartment/townhouse) I'm going to get some full size machines (mostly shooters and driving games). Thanks for sharing your collection, I can definitely see your passion in your awesome game room.
I absolutely LOVE your arcade that you have. Have watched your 2017 video about a hundred times. Lol! Thank you for the new video! The "night" lighting scheme looks terrific.
Amazing and comprehensive collection you have there. And the Pièce de résistance, that oversized slot machine =). I can tell you spared no expense in all of the decorations that accompany a classic arcade. What a nostalgia trip. Growing up as a kid in St. Paul, Minnesota my friends and i would spend countless hours playing Mario Bros. at the dry cleaning place near my house, Centipede at K-Mart, and all of the other games, Donkey Kong, Time Pilot, Ms. Pac-Man, etc. at Showbiz Pizza Place. Then when we moved to california it was all about Gauntlet, Ikari Warriors, 1942, and SuperSprint. Classic gaming always puts a smile on my face and takes me back in time.
I love that Commodore 64 shrine you built above the kitchen sink. Only thing missing is a light shining down on it :) Best overall arcade setup I've seen on the interweb. Hats off to you, sir.
That is so amazing, what an investment in fun and nostalgic feelings. Very cool. I found ms Pac-Man at a bar for $50, was sitting in my mothers laundry room for 15 years when a repairmen was there and saw it and wanted to ask if it was for sale. My mom gave it to him! For now, I’ll stick to the 1/4th and 1/6 scale versions. They aren’t as loud but still makes me happy.
Amazing Room and Man -Cave (so many classics in there), and yes we have all become our parents, I too was thinking about the electric bill. LOL....nighttime brings you back to the days of the Arcade Rooms in the mall........Great display as well. (Looking for a full time bartender for that bar?? LOL
In the 1960s I use to go to the arcade at Santa Cruz Boardwalk as a kid. No video games yet and the pinball machines were 5 and ten cents. Lots of mechanical arcade machines, some that looked 1000 years old. Many were fascinating. I can only assume these are all in collections now, as the arcade looked more conventional today. The first videogame that appeared there was COMPUTER SPACE in a red metalflake paint cabinet some time around 1970 or '71 I think. I was 11.
Unbelievable! So many childhood flashbacks! When I was kid back then I was a little too young to play them so I pretended that I was playing them. The man who owned the arcade room would give me those pink bubble gums that were wrapped in the orange and blue wrappers. They were so hard when you first bit into them you thought you were going to break your teeth. The taste was kind of chalky and didn't last long at all. They did make great bubbles though. :)
Awesome space!!! With all the cool stuff in that entire space it is amazing to me how it was that vintage Pepsi machine in the doorway that really made the vintage statement lol. Great stuff my friend!
finding these old game machine was probably quite the adventure in itself..this is quite bad ass..i searched for ideas because im thinking along these lines in a much smaller scale like 5 or 6 machines- the family would be contend with that
Rush and Hydro thunder--that's living the dream right there! I miss living in a place with big basements, I'd have room for so much more stuff. Also, silly as it is, that pepsi machine on the way in really hits me square in the nostalgias.
I have always loved the idea of having something commercial built into a section of a home. I think its from when I was a kid I remember visiting at my Uncles house his neighbor had two 50's style dinners in his basement with part of a street block road section divided them. Was both cool and creepy lol
I've always wanted to collect coin operated machines but due to my budget I had to stick to 1up cabnets I WATCH YOU EVERY DAY at the point you're my daily schedule what I also like is the dedication from the shelves hiding stuff to the bar this place is so cool the first 5 seconds were cool to so sick seeing you're vids 😀 if this was a place people could come to I'd be on my way there no matter where it is good job! Someday do a 2022 or 2023 tour this place is awesome!

fantastic arcade and good panning shots of the whole arcade too, most arcade tours are a bit frustrating and are so obsessed with zoomin straight into machines and yapping about them that they forget to pan around the whole place so that we can take in the general feel of it all
I can only dream to one day have a room like this. Seriously, that's the coolest arcade iv'e ever scene, seriously.

Arcades don't actually take that much of power. Besides Im sure this guy got a fuse box where he got switches for the ones he wants running.
