Looks like a great place,i would defiantly stop in if in the area.Great pair up too with the owner getting all those machines and Mr.Hintenach being so dedicated and skillful at keeping the machines going.
I was there a few weeks ago and played that KISS pinball machine. It, and a handful of others made ore 1980 were just a quarter to play. Most were 50 cents, what a bargain. Really cool place, fair prices, clean, chill, machines well maintained!
I would have never guessed that Asteroids would have attracted 6000 plays in a week, but that was a completely different era. In 1985, my pediatric doctor had a Space Invaders cocktail in the waiting room. That thing was absolutely intense! Well, to be fair, I was six years old, but still had an NES on the home TV. There's something about a dedicated machine with cabinet-mounted gimbal and buttons that just grabs my attention. Thank you, Tom; may you never "work" another day in your life. Places like this really put a smile on my face.
I love how when he's talking about Kiss being rare, there's a shot of a Capcom Forgotten Worlds right behind him. That game's not hard to find at all. lol.
Good to see him so enthused.
I to have started to repair and restore pinball machines for playing.
Awesome!
