- She's finally done! This Built SR20 was fully rebuilt top down, assembled, modded and tuned in house here at SSS and it's finally complete. Watch as our foreman Wyatt breaks down the details of this build and takes this thing out for a road test. Huge shout out to the customer for giving us creative freedom to bring his dreams to reality. This car is a masterpiece.
Sounds like a straight up proper build. I’ve been through the wringer with high hp on the street and there’s a LOT to be said about drivability in the car. It’s not always for straight rippin but it sure is nice when it’s on tap. Very cool build.

I perfer the S13s but yeah. This s14 is cool. I still dont get why people hate the SR20 so much. The SR20 is a great engine and is as capable as any other 4 cylinder in terms of power potential and performance.
Sr22 is gods engine lol
Rough estimate of build cost?
Rough cost is about $30k CAD for something like this. Forged internals on the engine including labour, as well as fuel system, ecu, turbo kit and supporting mods + labour included. That would be about $22k USD for our american friends.
@sssmotorsportsjdm I want to do this to my g35. Have any thoughts, insights?
@@marathonlogistics9943 Since G35 is not turbo it needs significant modifications to be turbo'd along with the engine work. I just recently quoted a G35 engine and turbo build and it came out to over 40k$ CAD

Just making it aware the thumbnail pic states 'crazy' when it should say 'basic'.........
Forged internals, top mount turbo kit, head work, fuel system, ECU and tuning making 200hp/L and 100hp per cylinder is basic to you? would love to hear about what "crazy builds" you've done
