ChatGPT was wrong about the Hyperscan. It didn't store its games on cards, it stored characters, power-ups, levels, and other stuff like that on them. The games themselves were CD-based.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, doesn't sound right. If there's no external source for games aside of RFID to unlock items, then are all the games on the system and that's it? lol! It didn't make sense!
I'm pretty sure it didn't even do that. All the cards did was access/unlock something that was already on the game disc. It's funny chat Gpt said the system lacks CD based games right as the actual video footage showed ben10 game disc being put into the system lol. Its such a terrible idea lol
@@jasonjones7461 Oh yeah, you're right, I forgot about that. Either that or I worded it wrong when I wrote my initial comment. It was basically the precursor to on-disc DLC. In fact, iirc, there are several characters on the X-Men disc that are just straight up unplayable because their cards were never released, though they're still on the disc, so I'm sure they could be accessed via hacking (though, considering it's the Hyperscan, I doubt anyone would ever want to do such a thing lol).
I remember the channel "Rerez" bashing the hell out of the Hyperscan. Even after buying a game for the regular retail price, you would have to buy one card pack after another after another after another if you wanted to unlock all of the content. And you had to do this for every single game on that system. Rerez called it "DLC before DLC existed."
I have experienced all the consoles, and I also own most of the ones mentioned here and played them for years. Each console had its advantages and disadvantages for the time. From today's point of view, a lot of things from back then may not be attractive anymore, but the PC Engine FX was terrific even back then and very popular especially among people with a soft spot for anime and manga. Microcosm on Amiga CD32 was graphically exceptional back then, even if it was a bad game. On the other hand, I had loved Sidmeier's Pirate for months. The Panasonic 3DO was great, we spent a lot of time with it. The Atari Jaguar was a powerhouse, Alien VS Predator was brilliant at the time. Unfortunately, the console was used far too little. Kids and teenagers nowadays have no idea what it means to grow older with consoles. They missed the most exciting evolution of the games and hardware industry and they will never be able to experience a jump from SNES to Playstation. It was just fantastic.
The Virtual Boy was a cool concept, I got one clearance from KB Toys for $20 and the games were all under $5. If there was a way to strap it on your head and make the screens gray scale it would've been a bigger success.
I always thought I would go blind or have seizures playing one which is how my cousin felt after renting one. Even when they were on clearance I decided to avoid it.
I really liked the CD32. I live in Canada, the only place outside Europe that it had an official release, making Canadian CD32s the only NTSC units ever released. I don’t know how collectible they are, but at least I get to know that I have a really rare console! :-)
Very collectiible now. I had a UK one with the FMV cartridge... I sold it around 2004 when it was not so collectible with most of my other Amiga stuff. If only I had a Delorian....... Oh yeah and I loved mine too. OK now that makes me feel even worse.....

I have an Atari 5200, Amiga CD32, PC-FX, and Jaguar. I don’t really touch the 5200 these days, but I have to admit the others are still fun to fire up and play once in a while. They each have their share of standout titles, even if it’s just a few.
These consoles all may be bad, but at least in the era of these consoles, games actually released working, no crashing the consoles, no needing to be online for a single player game..... And no patches that take hours, to fix what was broken, and break what was fixed.
It’s an interesting list but I expected to see more obscure consoles that really bombed. The CD-I technology ran for 8 years and sold all over the world, don’t get me wrong it had more bad games than good ones but I’m surprised it is number one. The Mario games did more harm than good for the platforms reputation so maybe that’s what the AI picked up on.
Sorry the 3DO, Jaguar & the Amiga cd32 should not be on this list. AI is wrong. They were commercial failures, very true but they had some decent games on it that are locked to that system only and the only way to play them is via emulation.
It just about which systems get bashed the most by people online. While there are certainly consoles which are less fun out there, you won't find many which are the centre of so many jokes. If people haven't heard of platforms they wont be bashed.
I doubt that ChatGPT has seen the very worst consoles ever made. I mean, no mention of Casio? What about Amstrad? Or how about Tiger Electronics? No, ChatGPT needs to brush up on its console history before it makes definitive claims like this.
I'm not sure if these are really the "worst", but most were remarkably bad. The Jaguar was OK, but Atari seriously dropped the ball with retail and developer support. In that regard, it was a failure that sunk Atari. Commodore made many missteps too.
Nice list BUT !!! There are false informations about "Amiga CD32". It wasn't 1st CD based console from Comodore. There was "Amiga CDTV"! "Amiga 500" in fancy DVR / media center package.

I find the 3DO is one of those consoles that for some reason have recently been considered a bad system. It was a failure sure, but there are lots of very good consoles that were failures. The thing was off the charts amazing at the time. What I think audiences don't understand now is that the leap in technology over a 2 year span in the 90s was like 20 years nowadays. Sure we just had to wait like 2.5 years after the 3DO's release to get our hands on things like a Playstation or Saturn, but at the time of release, the 3DO was like future tech. Even computers couldn't match it. The 90s were a strange time for gaming, we went from simple block sprites to full 3d rendered graphics with millions of polygons in a decade. Everyone was throwing everything at the wall to try and figure out what worked gameplay wise and what had the most fun and replayability factor. Obviously there were a lot of stinkers in retrospect but without this exploration we wouldn't have the industry we have now.

The CD32 is a bad console? Based on the A1200, I wonder why this should be. Okay it was released at the end of the Commodore Amiga‘s life circle - but it could be used as a complete home computer with add ons (sx32). It already had a keyboard socket (mini-Din). I would consider the Gameboy as the worst console ever (not in terms of market success, but in terms of usability) Clumsy, Monochrome, small screen, not backlit, battery eater, shitty games. Never had one, never wanted one. My first place. Hate me now 😝🥳
CD32 isn't a bad console, especially with the hard drive and WHDLoad, you have one of the better system to play Amiga games on with the option of using the CD Games. It's not the CD32 Fault that Commodore died, that was bound to happen anyway with that badly run company. It would've eventually been slayed by the Playstation but that was the fate anyway of 2D Consoles like the Saturn for instance. That doesn't make the CD32 a bad console like people who would watch the AVG video would be led to believe. I played one back when it was released and it compared well to something like the Genesis or SNES. Not a good system for 3D games, which is why it would've been killed off by the Playstation like I said.
The only console I owned off this list was the Atari 5200. Wasn't a bad system, just released right before the US Video Game crash of 1983. Spent many an hour playing "Space Dungeon" and "Star Trek" on that one!
As usual Chat GPT did it's job well, too well really. I've seen many such videos in the past of worst consoles or the like, and they were almost always flawed somewhat, be it by omission or opinion. Thanks for the video, great as always.
Apple PiPPiN was not as bad as everyone claims, especially for the time. You could run all kinds of Amiga software and games on it with the right patches and settings, which were available for free online from a nice little high end community. It's own library of admittedly Apple/Mac computer games tweaked to function flawlessly and sometimes with new control schemes was also quite nice, if hard to find.
When I saw virtual Boy at number 2 which don't get me wrong I wasn't really expecting it to be number one on the list but when I saw it at number two I was just like Oh the RZone's going to be number one. Okay I guess not. Maybe perhaps chat GPT had decided that "Oh no they are zone is just not worth it." Nevertheless a very interesting list. Lot of consoles I obviously expected to be there and I've heard of. I don't know if I ever heard of the PCFX. I think I might have somewhere but I don't have much memory of it
There's a few tidbits I don't understand about the SNES Playstation (Nintendo/Sony add-on). When Nintendo ditched Sony and went with Philips, yes, they did license out Mario and Zelda to be made for CDi systems, but was Nintendo actually planning a CD add-on with Philips after they ditched Sony? If so, any detail on it? Or was Nintendo simply only ever going to license out titles to Philips and not make an add-on anymore?
I know for sure Nintendo was planning a CD add-on with Philips to compete with the upcoming Sega CD. News and announcements were teased as oncoming throughout 1992. I don’t know the reasons behind it being scrapped, though.
LOL You could tell at the end she was struggling to hold the CD-I. I bet her arms were aching after that! Has she never heard of a table? Still, strange list. No N-Gage? No Vita? No R-Zone? Fair enough.
I actually loved my OUYA and consider it to be a necessity for gracious living. Though, TBH, I mostly just used it as a pre-retropie emulation box to play NES and SNES games.
I think it left the R-Zone off of the list because GPT has a secret to hide: the GPT software actually runs on an R-Zone. *GASP* Yes, though enhanced with genius upgrades like a fresh coat of silver spray paint, pipe cleaners glued in strategic places and bent in way that gives the viewer an impression that the device is moving even when it's not, and of course the powerful addition: Glitter (tastefully applied). When our doom comes know it will only be monochromatic and headache inducing. You all have been warned!
When you think back how many CD systems were created from 92-2000, only the PS1 was the really successful one, and the only survivor of that era. Was a crazy time for trial and error. But Sony got it right first time
love the video i may have missed it but i dont remember u ever doing a vid of the GREATEST MOST ADVANCED CONSOLE OF ALL TIME!!! ready for this??? the V SMILE AND V FLASH!!!! YEA. I love ur videos
The only one of those consoles that I owned was the Ouya, which I rarely ever played because I owned better gaming hardware with more compelling games to play.
Oh, the Vergil Boy 😅 Gotta love subs Agree with this horrendous list of defunct and dysfunctional consoles. BTW, *SPAGHETTI!!!* (If you understand the meme) 😂
I think they added a few parameters like hardware originality, the standard of hardware according to the year. Then game library would have a large impact on the final result. That would explain the PIPPIN #9. The number 1 CD-1 is mysterious, graphics looked good and it could 3d, making it better than the 1990 SNES's hardware. The OUYA has impressive graphics, I don't know why it got to 10, probably the lag of controller remote and gaming. The Virtual Boy, purely, that's an evil one, sickness, and could have changed lamp for blue or green. It should have been the worse with that red flood. The Atari 5200 was okay, it had super competition with Famicom's Nintendo. The Jaguar and 3do just had the bad timing and the most difficult time in 3d. The Amiga CD32 was a cheap shot. 3do and Jaguar would have shown great intro to the 3d if Frame Generation was there in that time, most results would have been so different. The Mattel's Hyperscan is just like the game Flat-out, just silly performances. I don't know about that PC-FX, great video.
As a console collector here is my commentary on those consoles: the Amiga CD32 had a bad game library but you can make a great gaming system out of it with a TerribleFire330 expansion. It becomes the perfect Amiga gaming system so from my point of view it is a great console! I don't own the Hyperscan but in my opinion it is the worst console of all time. Bad library with only very bad games, bad console and worst of all: DLC on cards! The 3DO is an interesting console with some good games. Too bad there are nearly no good exclusives left. All games were ported to other consoles. But the 3DO still has some great versions of great games. So I wouldn't call it a bad system! The Jaguar has nearly the same problems. It has some really good versions of multiplatform titles and few great exclusives. I still like the Jaguar. I never owned a VirtualBoy but I heard it has some great games. I was never interested in the Philips CDI because I heard that it doesn't have any playable games. But I could be wrong because I heard that you can have some fun with a couple of games. So I guess it isn't as bas as I have always thought. Oh and the worst console in my collection is the Amstrad GX4000. The game library is very bad but there are a lot of Amstrad CPC conversions for it. So with a flashcart you can still have some fun with it.
Surprised the Gizmondo, Nuon and LaserActive wasn’t on the list! 🙄 Yeah Jaguar was a Failure and disaster but seems like the only one worth collecting for. The Virtual Boy was a Failure that at least sold 770,000 units! At least the Wii-U did better by 17.5 times that amount! 🤣
Great list Lady, i myself would have also added the original gameboy brick, while it had an awesome library of games, i remember playing them on the super gameboy..
Actually not a badly made list. I might play with the order on some of these, but I definitely don't disagree with the inclusion of any of these systems on this list.
I guess the reason it didn't is because they are slightly more obscure so do not get bashed as much online. The True Top Ten Worst Consoles are likely so bad, few have even heard of them.
I had an Atari Jaguar and an Atari Lynx. Both were garbage but I preferred the Lynx. I liked the surfing on California games although it still wasn't very good. 🌊🏄♂️
I had an Atari Lynx 2 and loved it, I sold my Gameboy and far prefered the Lynx 2 over the Gameboy which felt like a toy. Toki and Paperboy and Ninja Gaiden are amazingly accurate arcade conversions. Roadblasters as well and many other ports.
Me: she's gonna say the Ouya. Decade: No.10 the Ouya. HAH! Lol but they were kinda shit. Yes I had one and sold it. Wish I kept it for collectors sake. It was.......ok at SOME emulation but than again my phone does it better.

The 5200, controllers that would just stop working were the biggest failure.
Surprised u didn't have the Sega CD and 32X
I actually a fan of the Atari 5200
My least favorite game system is the PS1
The only console I owned off this list was the Atari 5200. Wasn't a bad system, just released right before the US Video Game crash of 1983. Spent many an hour playing "Space Dungeon" and "Star Trek" on that one!
Your Amazing with details of Games and Gaming History. Looking forward to your next video. God Bless and take care.
Wrong The HiperScan does use CD games
I want to play the Zelda CDi games
Road Rash on 3DO is perfect
What about the Atari Jaguar CD 💿
As usual Chat GPT did it's job well, too well really. I've seen many such videos in the past of worst consoles or the like, and they were almost always flawed somewhat, be it by omission or opinion. Thanks for the video, great as always.
this isn't the ultimate list. where is the nokia ngage?
wheres the gizmondo?
Nope. It's controversial choices now. Like there must be no 3DO or in 10 place at least because it's ok console.
This list us automatically wrong. Where's the R-Zone?!?!? 😂😉
I think I might have somewhere but I don't have much memory of it
chat gpt. i asked it to show me youtube ideas and its all old ideas. chat gpt 4? dont know, that one isnt free.
Wow I’m EARLY yeah 🎉. Great video as ALWAYS.
Thank you so much for filming yourself using the virtual boy :p
Lady Decade reviews ...a necessity for gracious living
I tried out the gameboy virtual at a toy store when it came out, and got one of the only headaches of my entire life.
1:29 when you speak I felt like I was watching the price is right lol
The tiger R zone, The hyper scan, OUYA, playdium, Panasonic 3DO, CDi Phillips, virtual boy and RCA studio II
The apple pippin I still forgot this,
This lady of the decade certainly looks like she’s living graciously holding all these 5th Gen “graveyard consoles”!
LOL You could tell at the end she was struggling to hold the CD-I. I bet her arms were aching after that! Has she never heard of a table? Still, strange list. No N-Gage? No Vita? No R-Zone? Fair enough.
Awesome Retro Video
I like your content. Keep it up! :D
Did I somehow miss the information on the blue console that's in the thumbnail?
Really enjoying your content lately.
I can think of a few that should have been on that list, and a few that shouldn't have been. But I'm just a simple human.
Just one correction. The cd32 had a double speed drive, not single.
Oh, the Vergil Boy 😅
Gotta love subs
Agree with this horrendous list of defunct and dysfunctional consoles.
BTW, *SPAGHETTI!!!*
(If you understand the meme) 😂
Amiga CD 32 should have ranked a lot higher.
This AI is not very good at being funny.
Djag-War.
Jaguar, as in french...
I don't see why Jag-Wire some people say. Jag-War. It'S easy
Good on you! No matter what the answers ChatGPT is not going down! Because any answer is the wrong answer. You did it you picked a topic to destroy AI
You are one of my favorite UA-camrs! Thank you!
Some consoles are just truly terrible.
Great list Lady, i myself would have also added the original gameboy brick, while it had an awesome library of games, i remember playing them on the super gameboy..
I loved my 3D0. Wing Commander 3, Gex, a few other games.
The Ouya had and still has potential
Leave console design to the pros please
Actually not a badly made list. I might play with the order on some of these, but I definitely don't disagree with the inclusion of any of these systems on this list.
ChatGPT will nominate anything NOT by Microsoft as a fail. 😂
This top Ten shall have included the Amstrad GX4000 and the Commodore c64gs
6 seconds in. The necessity of gracious living is back!
I feel like the SuperGraFX should be on this list.
Me: she's gonna say the Ouya.
Decade: No.10 the Ouya.
HAH!
Lol but they were kinda shit. Yes I had one and sold it. Wish I kept it for collectors sake.
It was.......ok at SOME emulation but than again my phone does it better.
