The composed sound of this film will continue to occupy us in 50 years' time. Hans Zimmer, like other well-known composers, will always be remembered, as he has composed the soundtracks to several films (Gladiator, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean and Interstellar). He will be named in the future together with John Williams , Bach, Beethoven etc.... One of the biggest, forever
here we found the similarity of this music of Hans and the music of the Russian Kuryokhin, whose music was written earlier. Two brilliant composers thought in parallel. ua-cam.com/video/O9RxamtEoT0/v-deo.html
if u think about it then you'll realize that there were 2 Coopers. The one who left (Cooper the farmer), and the one who returned (from Parallel dimension).
Reminder that Hans Zimmer helped with not only the music, but the creation of the movie itself in Insterstellar...Nolan asked him to create music (Cornfield Chase was the result) & Nolan used it for his creative process of the characters. Its truly incredible.
We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt. Best quote in the movie
Second best quote; John lithgow: "I want a hot dog" The reason I love/hate this quote is because apparently all cultivated plants that are used for food are for 100% human consumption. I.E. no animal or livestock feed. Just kinda sucks that he had to be in a baseball game without a real juicy hot dog with mustard and relish and maybe a coke to drink.
If the church had held the power through the 19th, 20th, and 21st century and eliminated all our genius free thinkers, that quote would hold even more truthful meaning. Thank god we are able to look up, explore, identify and hypothesize.
I can't think of a more justified compliment to this music than saying "A death would be a beautiful death with this music in our ears when we depart."
I want to forget it every time I watch ...then watch again...then forget ....then watch... Nolan gives you feels and Experience which you've not experienced...and thanks to hans Zimmer for this masterpiece
It's amazing how a 500 seconds video can make you think deep about billions of years of life, and how you and your tiny problems which at times seem so big, are all just a microscopic little invisible dot in the larger scheme of things. It's liberating yet scary, beautiful yet painful, makes you smile yet cry. What a creation!
Life is like anything. Life must be lived the way you want and wherever you want. Life is short, so be patient. Soon your chance will come. Every person has his own style in life.
Movie Ingredients: 1) Time 2) Gravity 3) Love 4) Space travel, black holes etc 5) Survival of the human race 6) Superb drama, suspense and storyline 7) Stunning music Essentially, all the things I love, rolled together into one narrative.
Finally just watched movie for the 1st time tonight!!! Makes this video AND THE MUSIC WAY MORE SPECIAL!! What an incredible movie- FREE here on UA-cam!!!!!💯💯💯💯
this movie is very special to me. I was 13 when i've watched this movie and i remember walking out from the theater thinking i must be an engineer when i grow up. and here i am. when i see this film i always remember that feeling and decision i've made as a little girl and it makes me feel really proud. thank you to christopher nolan and hanz zimmer for this amazing movie and the music!
Our daughter is named Murphy after this, my all-time favourite film. We needed IVF to conceive and I always remembered Cooper telling Murph that she's named after Murphy's law because "whatever can happen, will happen." Murphy happened for us ❤️
Even a decade later, this film still hits. Definitely one of the better films of the previous decade, and dare I even say it.. one of my favorites, most definitely. I still remember that feeling when I watched it for the first time. I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to see what's next, yet I didn't want it to end. I was pretty much in stunned awe the entire time. I just hate that I will never be able to experience that again. If you somehow still haven't watched it, watch it. Hopefully you'll get the experience I did. If you do, treasure that moment because it'll never happen again.
I think it's now a global consensus that this is one of the best films ever made. We need a 10 year anniversary re-release. I have to watch this in the theaters please
Favorite movie of all time. Should’ve won mass awards. Oppenheimer was overrated. This movie is a masterpiece and will make you cry even more so if you have kids. Thank you Christopher Nolan for this movie
I cry every time for the part where she says because my dad promised me. I have a daughter who would wait for me at night from work telling my wife I must stay up for daddy because he promised me he would come back. Our children don't forget.
“Because my daddy promised me” I had a daughter in December… Lost my father in February…I swear that line just transcended everything I ever thought I knew about life and hit me so hard. Can barely explain the level of emotion I was just hit with re watching this scene. My life is now for her.
She is out there. Setting up camp. Alone , in a strange galaxy. Maybe she is settling in for the long nap, In the light of our new sun. And in our new home.
When he talks to his daughter about the time and says that when he comes back they will probably be the same age, it destroys me in a way that I can't explain. I have tears in my eyes
Agreed to this as well as The fact that the first planet which is full of water where one hour was equal to some 7 years on earth and because of crashing waves they have to spend three hours and now 21 years has passed on earth that shattered me
That part gets to me too. Also the end when she's old and on her death bed. I've never heard anyone say this, but I believe Nolan took the idea (but modified it) from an episode of Star Trek, Deep Space 9 that aired in 1995. Everytime I watch that episode, I tear up, since the son destroys his life to save his father. If you can find the episode, definitely watch it. Hans Zimmer you are the Beethoven of our century
Id say Mozart.

We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt.
Best quote in the movie
I literally love this one
In a movie
Second best quote;
John lithgow: "I want a hot dog"
The reason I love/hate this quote is because apparently all cultivated plants that are used for food are for 100% human consumption. I.E. no animal or livestock feed.
Just kinda sucks that he had to be in a baseball game without a real juicy hot dog with mustard and relish and maybe a coke to drink.
Why am I crying? 😭😭
If the church had held the power through the 19th, 20th, and 21st century and eliminated all our genius free thinkers, that quote would hold even more truthful meaning. Thank god we are able to look up, explore, identify and hypothesize.
i wanna forget and rewatch this masterpiece again and again.

What a creation!
well said sir
Every little problem is a universe in itself
You have got my utmost respect to explain this song in a perfect way.

The scene where Coop watches all the videos of the kids growing up kills me every damn time.. I could watch it twice in a row and still cry both times
Same to me.
It happens even after you’ve watched it 10+ times - personal experience 😊

Interstellar is a forgotten masterpiece, when a brilliant composer meets a brilliant director with a STELLAR cast
Who said that? Interstellar aint no forgotten piece of art, maybe in the next 100 years someone would reminisce it as of that
