oven temp would be a great addition to your video
Oven temp and cooking time. I was thinking the same thing.
I would say depending on your oven, 375 for 8-10 min
@@mariamoncadajamaicamelovet3995 Thank you very much. The cookies turned out great.
I cook mine about 325 for 10 or so minutes. I found that 350 and up is too hot but that's just my opinion. Whatever is easier.
Last time I made peanut butter cookies they came out dry and soft so yes 375 seems a much
These are Delicious I found that I needed to cook mine for 19 minutes because 14 minutes they wanted to fall apart when I took them off at the cookie sheet 0:51
Did I miss it what is the time and temperature for cooking?
Ingredients
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus 1/4 cup extra for rolling
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 Large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° and have ready a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Also, have ready a small bowl with about a 1/4 cup of sugar for coating the cookie dough balls.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. With a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, mix until smooth.
Add the dry ingredients and mix on low speed until combined. Do not overmix.
Scoop out heaping tablespoons of dough, and roll into a ball. Roll in the granulated sugar, and transfer to the baking sheet spacing them 1 1/2"-2" apart.
Make crosshatch lines across the tops of the cookies using the tines of a fork, and bake for 12-14 minutes, just until the edges are a deeper brown. Serve and enjoy.
@@TheAnthonyKitchen you wrote powder but said soda?
Awww man… I put soda 😮
@Esperanza Breaux oh man, I put soda too!! What temp, and how long??
@@TheAnthonyKitchen thank you for the written recipe! 😊
Holy Cow!! That was so simple. Now I have a weekend project!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thanks, Philip! Enjoy!
@@TheAnthonyKitchenHEY! What do I set the oven to and how many minutes in the oven.
Preheat oven to 350°. Use Baking Powder, NOT Baking Soda. ❤
Wow. Thanks...
would also be nice to know how long they bake to stay chewy or crispy, just sayin'
In your video you called for 1 tsp of baking soda but in the written recipe it says 1 tsp baking powder. Will there be a difference on how the cookies will turn out?
Sorry! Those two leaveners do not work the same way. It should be baking powder.
@@TheAnthonyKitchen😑
Wow I just did them soda😢
Dammit, dammit dammit I wasted my time! Unbelievable. You should have put an edit either in close caption or something now I’ve got time and money invested in crap.
Back to the beginning I guess
I use cup peanut butter 3 tbsp oil 1box yellow cake mix. Round into balls press with fork cook 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Betty Crocker recipe
Oh I'm trying this
@@melmoultrie I was 15 when I found this and at 64 , it's still good
@@jenniferward2012 niiice
Chewy, thick and soft!😊
2/3 melted butter instead of 1/2 makes them moist?
Can u explain why salt Is needed your already getting that in the butter I just recently made the cookies with salt and that's all I tasted on the after taste
you didnt mention temp of oven, or how long in oven
I'm gonna assume 375F and around 10-12 mins. Pretty standard for a butter cookie such as these.
Here is the full recipe :) www.theanthonykitchen.com/chewy-peanut-butter-cookies/
*YUM* Thank you for this video! So easy!
You are so welcome!
@@TheAnthonyKitchenWhat is the oven supposed to be set to and how long do these cookies need to cook!
Is the dough supposed to be a little dry
No oven temp or baking time in video. And the baking soda is apparently supposed to be baking powder. An edit in your video would have been in order here. Luckily, I read the comments before I attempted this recipe. However, I think I will just pass on it now.
Baking soda is used in cookies to keep them soft and fluffy. Maybe it was not a mistake baking powder makes a harder cookie. I use baking soda in my chocolate chip cookie all the time.
I know how to make peanut butter cookies. I specifically pulled up a video to ensure they would be soft
Really?
Can use oil?
Hi in your blog you have mentioned BAKING POWDER
BUT while you are showing how to make video you said BAKING SODA .
Which one we will use ?????!
Very confusing , next recipe make sure both written ingredient must be match with your video description.
Can I use dark brown sugar instead?
Yes....
What temperature do you cook??? You forgot that?
Oops! Sorry! 350!
Temp? How long?
I mean I can figure it out but ....🤷🏻
12-14 minutes at 350!
Why can’t there be any ingredients and measurements on your website for those peanut butter cookies.
I'm about to they these. They look awesome, thanks.
Hope you enjoy ❤️
@@TheAnthonyKitchenoven temp and minutes to cook would be appreciated?! 🤷🏻♀️
HAVE YOU EVER USED ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER WITH OIL TO PREPARE THE COOKIES ?
THE OTHER P.B. HAS SERIOUSLY UNHEALTHY INGREDIENTS, SO I
DO NOT EAT IT…
HAVE YOU YET, EXPERIMENTED WITH HEALTHY P.B. ?
IF SO, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ?
THANKS FOR THE RECIPE
AND THE VIDEO…
I have not tried this recipe with any other kind of PB, but would love to hear how it turns out if you do!
Oven temp would be a good addition to your recipe 😅
Thanks
It doesn’t say the temperature or how long
Usually most cookies are baked between 350*F up to 375-400
I put baking soda and fallowed the rest of recipe they came out alright.. now I want to try again with the baking soda
The girl is gorgeous! We'll see on the cookies.
Yummy
❤
Where are the ingredients list
Or the measurement amounts 😮😢
www.theanthonykitchen.com/chewy-peanut-butter-cookies/ Right here!
Oven temperature and time would sure be hetlpful!!! It’s like driven* to the Grand Canyon and telling the kids, don’t get out of the car but the Grand Canyon is over there! Let’s go home now!
These cookies are good. But reduce the salt. I tried the listed recipe and ended up doubling it leaving the salt out of the added ingredients.
Glad you liked them! That is a smart solution if you are not big on the sweet and salty combo.
You know you bake a lot when you have a 2 gallon crock of brown sugar in your kitchen.
Yeah I used baking Soda 😅 then read the ingredients list after
Live and learn!
@@TheAnthonyKitchenwhat is the temperature for oven and how many minutes?
Live and learn she should’ve put the captions in there. That is baking powder not baking soda now I have a big fat mess in a lot of waste of time.
Magic oven. You start with 14 pieces and end up with 16 cookies.!!!
Thanks for sharing have a wonderful blessed day today in Christ Jesus our savior bye 👋 ❤
Big sugar jar 😂!
I noticed the jars too. Love them!!!
You look so pretty
Oops yes the temperature setting would be great for us old farts trying to get it right
It’s not patteren . It’s pattern!
They did not turn out chewy. I did not like the texture or the flavor. Will look for another recipe.
Ok people if you ever pay attention to baking videos oven timing is usually the sane for any pastry preheat to 350 pop in whatever you’re baking give it 20 min maybe 22 and that’s it just common baking sense.. the more you know 💫
Cookies are usually baked between 10-16 mins. Nothing more than that
Let's see what I did different, cause I don't follow recipes! HA. I use them as helpful "guides". ;-)
I subbed in some WW flour...cause I love the flavor! I added a little extra vanilla...cause I make my own and it's not as "strong" as store bought. I used turbinado sugar and molasses...cause that's what I have. I used my roasted from raw peanuts, peanut butter....AND added a few chopped peanuts to the top...cause it's pretty. And I AM chilling it...just for a few. Bout to preheat the oven and bake'em up! Finger's Crossed!!!
Love it! Sounds delicious!
Probably should stock up looks like you about to run out of ingredients! Lol.. good video though!!😊
Tie your hair back. So annoying to watch hair keeps falling forward.
That's your opinion
I made them yesterday and today I had to throw them away because they are hard like a rock. Waste of ingredients and my time.
Too much sugar🤪
WHY DOES NO ONE TIE THEIR LONG HAIR UP WHILE COOKING?¿?
You're not eating anything in her kitchen so hush.
