Hi, I'm the developer of UWUVCI. Originally UWUVCI was built to handle only Virtual Console games, but Wii and GCN are not Virtual Console. Instead UWUVCI makes it so you can install the games on your Wii U's side, and be able to boot directly into them without having to go to your vWii and with the added benefit of possibly using your GamePad or Pro Controller.
For those that want to do phantasy star online 1&2 for it to work when is says set time to internet clock or online clock select NO and the game will run, if you select yes the game will get stuck in an endless loop of trying to fix the time and lock up and since you selected yes it will be saved on that file as yes. So, you would have to file the save file and delete it to get the option again to set online clock to pop up. So just remember just select NO and you will be fine. It says it's not compatible, but it works. But I can't remember if I used the patched version with Wii U helper (USE ISO TO PATCH or if i used UWUVCI as I have used both methods, but not sure which one i used for PSO. So, if one doesn't work try the other one.
For whatever reason when i inject MKWii Deluxe Red i can actually launch the game but once i start single player it black screens. i tried injecting it with different regions of rythm fever. Not only that but how do you connect a 2nd player to injected vwii games?

Now I have gotten past the black screen but I’m stuck at the title screen which says that there’s no controller connected. Does anyone know a fix for this ? I would be forever grateful 🥰
@@LL-hf6bi Didn't find a fix for it, but simply putting the games on the system itself works for me. [The left option] Apparently it's something you have to set up, and it's a external device I don't have, so you'll just have to put it on your console. Just make sure you have enough room

I've been spending the past several hours trying to figure out how to get GameCube games onto my Wii U and this video had me up and running GameCube games in 5 minutes!! I jailbroke my Wii U years ago with Tiramisu, and I remember seeing a Nintendont menu pop up at some point, I just don't remember how. So I searched around and it said you could launch it from the Homebrew Channel when you go into Wii mode. Well apparently I didn't have that, so then I read you had to jailbreak your vWii to get it setup, and it started giving me a headache because I needed to do all that, just to install a Nintendont button just so I could launch it to play a GameCube ISO, and then on top of that I was reading about how Aroma and was better, but I later found out it didn't have RetroArch support so I put that on hold for now. Your video basically said to get some Rhythm Heaven keys, find your GameCube ISO, and inject it with WUP Installer (which I already had on my Wii U's Homebrew Channel). Done!

Hey guys, i had this problem too, but the solution is actually very simple, you just need to install an iso from your console region, so if your console is from europe, you install a pal iso, or ntsc if you're american. And also the base rom you use for the inject to work must match the iso from the game, so the base and the game must be from the same region

I have kind of a problem here. I have successfully installes New Super Mario Bros Wii. But I want to inject Wii Romhacks as well. For example Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, Newer Falling Leaf, Cannon Super Mario Bros Wii, Newer Summer Sun, etc. But last time I tried to inject romhacks starting with Newer SMBWii (1 year ago on an older version of uwuvci) it somehow just replaced the normal New Super Mario Bros Wii. A couple of mistakes happened along with it and it just ended up bricking my USB stick (thankfully not my console). What was the issue there and what can I do to do it right this time? I don't want to brick my USB stick again, and I really want to have those Romhacks on my Wii U menu instead of having to open USBLoaderGX first to play them. It would be cool if you did a tutorial on how to do this with different romhacks as well.
Hi, I'm the developer of UWUVCI 3. You shouldn't be using a USB stick in the first place because the lifespan of them in your Wii U is only a few months, maybe a year. Every time you create a new inject it will create a new ID for it so you can have multiple of the same game installed like I have about 20 versions of Paper Mario installed, all from the same base and from the same rom (dev purposes). If you patch your game with the rom hack, and then create an inject, it should just work.

So all of my injected gamecube games will sometimes freeze my wii u on startup. I literally have to unplug my console to get out of it. Anyway to fix this?
I'm running into the same issue. What's weird is at first the gamecube games were working fine, then literally a day later, with nothing changed, they stopped and it boots to the black screen. I tried deleting and reinstalling and it still boots to the black screen. Wii games work fine still, so idk what is going on. It looks like the Discord they don't respond often so I've been stuck for a few days trying to figure it out. I'll let ya know if I find a fix
@clement7369 kinda, I just deleted everything the restarted it all. When I tried to download the game files again it did it again, so I restarted AGAIN and only downloaded a handful of games, so it must be one of the games specifically is breaking the nintendont

Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. Are you on the latest version of UWUVCI 3? This sounds like a bug from a super early version. Also, it could be possible that your antivirus is getting in the way. Lastly, are you using Windows to run this or something else?
When I download the Base, the progress bar gets to a point where it says "Completing download, eta not available...". It stayed like this for 2 hours. Any idea what that's about?
when following this guide i cant start up gc games it gives an error for missing boot.dol i tryed installing nintendont to see if that works then it shows up with missing nincfg.bin when finding a file for that and outting it into the root of my sd there is no more error messages but the screen goes black on freezes up the wii u too the point where i need to unplug it to turn it off does anyone know afix for this?
Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. I would say to uninstall UWUVCI 3, and reinstall it. Also, you want to make sure that you follow what UWUVCI 3 says about setting up your Nintendont settings and all of that. If you're still having problems, see if you can boot into vWii and launch Nintendont that way. If you're able to do that, see about using a Nintendont forwarder. You might be like me, I'm unable to use GCN injects, they all go to a black screen, but any other method for GCN works fine for me.

Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. So you would need to install your WiiWare on your vWii, then go into UWUVCI and give it the wad file, it will create a forwarder for you that you can install so you can boot your WiiWare game from your Wii U menu.

Hey man, I wanted to say that your videos are really useful, but I have 1 problem, every time I open the gamecube injected game, it crashes and goes back to the main menu, I've tried a lot of things (trying different backups, creating the WUP files from WiiU Usb Helper, downloading and installing Nintendont from UWUVCI, downloading and installing Nintendont from the website) I verified on every attempt that Nintendont was in the correct place, but yet still I can't make it work. Is there something that I'm missing or you have any solutions?

GC compatability list don't think has been updated, because Metroid Prime works on the latest Nintendont version. No problems booting it up.

So all of my injected gamecube games will sometimes freeze my wii u on startup. I literally have to unplug my console to get out of it. Anyway to fix this?

Idw why the GameCube games result into a black screen, but the Wii game work just fine
I'm running into the same issue. What's weird is at first the gamecube games were working fine, then literally a day later, with nothing changed, they stopped and it boots to the black screen. I tried deleting and reinstalling and it still boots to the black screen. Wii games work fine still, so idk what is going on. It looks like the Discord they don't respond often so I've been stuck for a few days trying to figure it out. I'll let ya know if I find a fix

@clement7369 kinda, I just deleted everything the restarted it all. When I tried to download the game files again it did it again, so I restarted AGAIN and only downloaded a handful of games, so it must be one of the games specifically is breaking the nintendont

Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. Are you on the latest version of UWUVCI 3? This sounds like a bug from a super early version. Also, it could be possible that your antivirus is getting in the way. Lastly, are you using Windows to run this or something else?
When I download the Base, the progress bar gets to a point where it says "Completing download, eta not available...". It stayed like this for 2 hours. Any idea what that's about?
when following this guide i cant start up gc games it gives an error for missing boot.dol i tryed installing nintendont to see if that works then it shows up with missing nincfg.bin when finding a file for that and outting it into the root of my sd there is no more error messages but the screen goes black on freezes up the wii u too the point where i need to unplug it to turn it off does anyone know afix for this?

Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. I would say to uninstall UWUVCI 3, and reinstall it. Also, you want to make sure that you follow what UWUVCI 3 says about setting up your Nintendont settings and all of that. If you're still having problems, see if you can boot into vWii and launch Nintendont that way. If you're able to do that, see about using a Nintendont forwarder. You might be like me, I'm unable to use GCN injects, they all go to a black screen, but any other method for GCN works fine for me.
I enter the game everything working out however the wiimote literally doesn't work only to access the wii menu
Hi, I'm the developer of UWUVCI 3. It sounds like you probably did something like "Force Classic Controller" or something when you created your inject.
Can you make a WiiWare guide as well? Because these seem to work without injection but I dont understand it
Hi, developer of UWUVCI 3 here. So you would need to install your WiiWare on your vWii, then go into UWUVCI and give it the wad file, it will create a forwarder for you that you can install so you can boot your WiiWare game from your Wii U menu.

Hey man, I wanted to say that your videos are really useful, but I have 1 problem, every time I open the gamecube injected game, it crashes and goes back to the main menu, I've tried a lot of things (trying different backups, creating the WUP files from WiiU Usb Helper, downloading and installing Nintendont from UWUVCI, downloading and installing Nintendont from the website) I verified on every attempt that Nintendont was in the correct place, but yet still I can't make it work. Is there something that I'm missing or you have any solutions?

Why aren't the games savings
I tried to inject raving rabbids party collection and when i pressed inject it just show
"Inject game-please wait" and noting else .I don't now if it's because of the game got 6 gigabytes but does everyone know?
It's been 3 hours and I'm still waiting for the inject to finish!
