Hi, thanks for making this video. I installed a Owtosin Snapdragon SM6125 in my Cayman 987.2 (non-Bose) with Sound Package Plus. Plugged it right in, but there is a hissing sound when volume is not at 0. Also the volume is quite loud on level 1 even. Can you share the details of the wiring changes you made?
@@EndiFreeKolesiothere is no PCCM+ unit for the second generation of the 987, only for 987.1. Also PCCM+ only has wired car play and android auto, not via Bluetooth. Super annoying.
heregoes sells the $2-$500 ones, but one downside is they only have FR/FL unamplified output which will leave you with no rear speakers on a .2 with SPP
I bent the metal tabs when installing and it locked the unit in place. But I agree, the attachment should've been better
How did you go about this? Anyways you could pm on something with visuals?

How did you get the Bose amp to turn on? My head unit powers on but I get no sound.

That's CAD. And with camera and Bose adapter (which I did not need) it was close to 1000.

The screens are all too glossy and reflective on these cheap Android head units. Pity.
