Thank You,I was stuck on the speedometer thingy I appreciate u! 🤜🏾💥🤛🏾
Watched your video, didn't have to remove the cluster completely to replace a bulb, I just reached behind it after pulling the the top wire harness plug out, thanks.
Great video, thanks!
I appreciate the video. Thumbs up. I was starting to do this when my dash lights came back on. Started reading and found out the dash dimmer switch can get funky over time and cause the lights to go out. Some people said just thump the panel next to the dimmer switch to see if lights come back on. Dimmer switches are pricey! I am wondering if I can just clean it and if there is a way to test it outside the vehicle? Lots of futsy work.
thank you for sharing!
i have an odd question, is this cluster compatable with the 2001 ford explorer sport trac?
Great video, thanks guys!!!
I have a 97 Ford explorer AWD 8 cyl and just did this job. But I didn't know about the micro bulbs. I started the job because I lost my DRL lights and dashboard indicator lights. I heard the two are related and connected to a DRL MODULE. I spent two days researching and trying to figure out what the problem was. Checking every fuse didn't fix it. When I looked for the DRL MODULE, I found it was missing completely from the wiring harness behind the bumper. It either fell off or someone stole it. I'm hoping now this is all I need to replace, and I hope it's not the headlight switch or the rheostat switch next to it. While working on replacing the larger indicator bulbs I noticed the on/off cover on the left side of the steering wheel, for the cruise control, has turned to mush and my finger went right through it to the buttons underneath. I wonder if that can be fixed/replaced simply. And also if replacing the missing DRL MODULE is all that will be needed to get my DRL and dash lights working again. 🤔🤞🏻🤞🏻The last time I had this stuff removed was to replace the bushings to remove the play in the gear shifter. Not fun ! 🤦🏻♂️
I put in LED big and little LED lights made a big diffrent. Looks much better
Thanks a lot! Do you have same video for explorer 3? My engine temp arrow is rotating clockvise on 6 p.m. direction and stay all road, panel test helps me to calibrate it by default position, and this problem every day 😢
Thank you !
Hey what if all my bulbs are out. Will this fix it u doubt it maybe a fuse but I've checked all fuses
Hello. I was following your instructions but when I reconnected the battery and starting the ignition, my ST does not start at all. Not even a cranking sound of the engine. When I tried testing the battery, it says 12.6v. Looks like the voltage is going down whenever I start the engine. I don't know why did it happened. What do you think might be the problem?
CAN YOU PUT IN LED BULBS? and if so can you still dim it?
I am not doing all of that. I will just get a small peel and stick light on the somewhere on the dashboard and turn on at night. This is a great video so don't get me wrong but that is too much work for one or 2 bulbs
+@MM-sz6ku Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
This looks like a huge pain for something you NEED to see, but I have a feeling it's a lot worse on newer cars.
Which is the socket for the airbag light? Anyone?
