I was shocked that you let the water flow out into the cabinet. 😢 Maybe the cabinet is made of waterproof material? I would be horrified by that. And, it could have been nasty if the trap was filled.
Nice job, very thorough, did you remember to turn off the downstairs lav faucet ? I worked in plumbing service remodeling for 15 years and new construction for 8 years . I'm done ! 😊
First I always put a big towel on the cabinet floor before I get started…..so I do not put any scratches on the customers cabinets and not let any water get into cabinet joints. The customer will appreciate it when a worker is considerate and respects the homeowners property.
Thanks. Getting ready to replace countertop and faucet. At keast I know now how to. Turn everything iff and remove faucet etc before beginning the job😊😊
Not sure why those needed replaced unless they were causing a problem or they simply wanted a different type. But, typically, they last about 10-15 years. If there is nard water, they might not last but a couple years. They can get corroded or stuck open. Best to replace them before that happens. Also, good idea to turn them on and off once in awhile to keep them loose.
This is a SharkBite company. He replaced the stop valves to highlight a SharkBite product, the SharkBite Max. It’s at the end of the video and he provides a link. Strange he didn’t explain how they are better or really talk about them.
Holy shix. I should've used a basin wrench two days ago. I just ripped everything out in frustration. Pedestal sink no room, nightmare. Great video. Thanks.
Great video, very informative and easy to understand information, thank you!!😊

With that nice house, an escutcheon for the drain pipe hole would make it look nicer. Strange they did it for the water pipes but not the drain pipe.
This helped a lot! Thanks David! 👍🚽

Very good instructions. I saw another plumber use an iron board to lay on.

Why am I here? I don’t even have any plumbing issues. I was just watching murder drones memes
What the!? You’re not Jon Stewart! Bring back my Jon Stewart!
Man, Mark Rober's gone down hill fast since the loss on Mr. Beast's video.
I use a paper towel to check for leaks. Best to use a brown napkin because water really shows up on it.

Why were the shutoff valves replaced? Do they have a timeline for replacement.
