Do you have or consider getting the Avata?👇 If you want to support the channel it would be really awesome if you purchased the Avata through this link: bit.ly/3AUSuis or this US: amzn.to/3BxxBK8 UK: amzn.to/3uU97XK
Just bought the pro view combo. Glad I didn't buy the explorer combo. The integrated battery is a no go for me. Besides it's just 2 1865 batteries you can't replace without replacing the whole head strap. The fpv controller 2 is way smaller than my radiomaster tx16s but ill get used to it.
Have both Avata and M3P. I prefer to fly the Avata for fun but find myself using the M3P more often mainly because of the noise and attention the Avata draws. Bought the Master Airscrew 4 blade props, they are nice but don't solve that problem much.
And you'll never solve that problem. The avata is a ciniwhoop, and they all sound like that. You should hear my 5 inch racing drone. Sounds like an F1 car or some kind of demon screaming through the sky at almost 100 mph.
Do you think there is a long time until the next generation avata/fpv drone is released from DJI? I was thinking about buying the avata explorer combo, plus the Dji FPV remote controller 2. But im hesitant on buying it since the avata is already a year old.
There was a leak showing the coding for another drone and goggles that will be coming out. No word on if it’s a fpv drone or not yet but if a new set of goggles are coming out it’s probably going to be one. Whether it’s a cinewhoop like the avata or more like the original fpv drone remains to be seen.
I have the Mavic pro, DJI FPV, and the Avata. I love them all. I mostly use the FPV drone for chasing vids of planes and fast movers on my site. But I got the Avata for close in work. cars, bikes, boats and anything else where speed is not the thing. I found a charger to charge 3 bat at the same time for the FPV, but can't find one for the Avata. I use a river pro batt that has a high amp "C" port and it helps a lot!
I got a avata 1 850 on ebay 4 batteries and manual controller w goggles 2 and joystick 2. I could have got a 840 avata 2 on offerup from reputable seller w 3 batteries and motion controller 3 but I see ppl talking about durability being better and this one being able to handle more and take more and also easier to user replace parts like 10 min for frame or props. Instead of having to send it in. Will buy a faa liscenced drone operator hi vest to fly without being bothered at parks etc as well as red tape to put on the avata and all my batteries to scare off the birds.
Have you considered getting the master airscrew 3 & 4 blade propellers. I have both and they definitely work well, the 3 blade propellers give more flight time and are a bit quieter. And the 4 blade propellers definitely give more punch and higher top speed, I’ve got over 112 kilometres per hour with them.
Uuh sweet! No I haven’t, i think they offered to send some, but i was so fed up with the 3rd party ones i had that i said no. Maybe 🤔 should try them, the 3 blades it would be for the noise as you say. Might look into that🤔
Ye that i know, but decrease in DB definitely sounds interesting. Only been flying tbh and haven’t looked into props in along time. Thanks for reminding me tho😎😃
@@RobHK The Master Airscrew are only 1db quieter. It still screams, but the pitch is shifted to lower frequencies which makes it sound slightly better. I have seen many reviews and and sound tests and the 4 blade props seem to be most liked.
Hey Rob, you mentioned that the Freewell ND Filters are the best. Where do you get them in Europe? Amazon won't deliver from the US to my location. Thanks
I got one in May with the Motion Controller 2 and Integra goggles. I don't tend to take it out quite as often as my Mini 3 Pro because of the noise (and because here in Hawaii, if there's beautiful scenery that'd be nice to film, there's usually a bunch of people there admiring it), but it's definitely a lot of fun. Still getting a feel for it, but I'd like to eventually put some videos up when I get better.
Amazing and informative video ! I was just thinking whether to get another Avata as I just lost mine last month due to lost transmission 😅 use Avata for 6 month and kinda enjoy it , just little bit concern with the lost transmission bug . Been considering whether to get iflight drone or just wait for dji release new fpv
Thanks a lot mate🙌 ye I haven’t experienced that myself tho, but have seen some reports. Iflight would probably be my next if im not waiting for a new DJI version😊
Been there, done that. Was a charm until last autumn when the Avata did some very strange flyoffs, right out of nothing. DJI did not accept this as a prduct failure, they replaced the drone at my costs because they said there was no failure. Sold drone and all 7 batteries and much other accessories. I went over to O3-Air-Unit-based drones from iFlight and GEPRC. All without any flaws. The only thing the Avata did positive for me was bringing me into the FPV thing.
@@RobHK ua-cam.com/video/DTXSlKezvdQ/v-deo.html everything after swithing to manual mode the Avata did on its own for some very long seconds, you would not love to encounter this for sure, especially not in areas with people instead of cows...

When using the v2 Goggles do u have to plug the phone in to use the avata

Great review🙂. What license category do you need to have in Norway to legally fly Avata?

@@RobHK , they also make it easier to get to the memory card because they have a bigger opening, well worth it
