Those hinges on the raised keyboard add a few points of vulnerability and Asus doesn't exactly have the most stellar customer service reputation. Do you think this could take a beating over a good five years as long as you don't take it to war zones? Also, any plans on taking a look at its more budget friendly cousin, the Vivobook Pro 16x K6604JI?
I have just bought one of these, i wanted it for davinci resolve, but it also is very good at playing Grand Theft Auto. Mine has the RTX4080. A really nice, but expensive laptop. The only thinig I really dont like is the lift up keyboard creates a real dust trap underneath it.

What would you prefer, this model, or ProArt? I am thinking more towards ProArt, but I fear the battery life would be poor.

Where did you get the 4080? I can only find 4070 variants
