    Point of interest, the USBC port on the keyboard isn't actually a data connection, it's just so you can recharge the BT keyboard without putting it on the pogo pins.
    But three USB ports and a full HDMI and an audio jack is about twice as many connectors as most 'ultrabooks' give you these days. IIRC the closest competitor to this form factor, the yogabook 9i, gives you two USBC ports and nothing else so you're stuck using the same two holes for power, video, audio, and any peripherals you want (like a mouse or keyboard that doesn't suck).

    can you compare this to the Lenovo Yoga 9i dual screen? Great review!

      Agree, would appreciate a comparison, and not just individual reviews of each. There are key differences that need emphasized.
      The Lenovo peripheral concept, but (imo)! superior hinge. Asus having its built-in stand and superior keyboard design. Etc etc.
      Please and thank you.

      @@GabrielTerisPro Oh great! in the asus settings app keep option to Allocate 8GB and option of performance mode whenever using AC adaptor for any extreme tasks like gaming that i have been testing including cyberpunk 2077 actually running smoothly with high settings, Ray tracing off. So pretty sure 4k video rendering will be impressive as well. Having a 65W powerbank I really don't have any complaints.. except for maybe them not having a beefy 16inch version too haha

    Are you sure the usb-c on keyboard can use other functions? As I know it only powers the keyboard. It is not used for sending any data. Have you tried it yet?

    • @chrishoskins8782
      @chrishoskins8782 5 місяців тому +1

      He's wrong. The USB C on the keyboard is only for charging the keyboard when it's off the device.

    Would you say that the *Core Ultra 7* variant would a better pick for long-term battery health and heat management? considering the less-resolution screen and less-powerful chip taking a lesser toll on the battery

    very curious what battery life is like on this laptop in different modalities. Im in graduate school study statistics and commonly am running VS code or Rstudio, along with many browser tabs open, and other apps like spotify. My surface pro 7 is great but the battery life with my regular work flow is 4 hours or less. Would be so nice to be able to work all day just on battery!

      Benchmark @@tiltdown not all reviews data driven in the way that you suggest. I understand that it didn’t give you all the information that you wanted, but there were still a number of valuable insights. I honestly find it hard to believe that this is the worst review you’ve ever seen, you may want to check out a wider range of review on on UA-cam. I guess I take issue with you because I know how much work goes into producing even a short review for UA-cam, and to have someone’s hard work dismissed out of hand in the way that you did comes across as a dick move.

    Absolutely useless purchase backed by the worst service by ASUS. Intel is talk of the Past... Asus is another reason not to buy it
