They released it on cd but you could only buy it with an NME magazine back in 2007. They literally did it so they could play it once at Wembley stadium on the first day. The 2nd day they replaced it with forced in and never played it again I don’t think
was brought up on shadows from my dad, and now my daughter loves muse, guess this is because of the tornadoes, George bellamy thing but its nice to see muse transcend through 3 generations
Its was made by the shadows but recorded by muse whilst on tour - they recorded it the day they decided to play it - it was recorded on a laptop hence the poorer quality
People don't like to see other people happy. We have found musical bliss throughout our souls in Muse; while the haters listening to Lamb of God or Kings of Leon are so unhappy and don't understand why!?! Fill your ears with garbage and it'll come right back out your mouth. When you fill your ears with beauty...
@DarKnightofCydonia Thanks for your reply. Possibly b/c I'm an old man, I prefer the Shadows version. Anyhow that's my opinion, but regardless, you do have a creative username that, as an added bonus, contains the word "Dark", so it's all good!!!!!...Thumbs up
EXACTLY thats what I'm saying, but people keep correcting me and telling, "oh they did with Knights of Cydonia" but thats just similarities, I'm talking about a full cover, ya know
@eduardvictor So you have been playing for at least 2 years then!! Not only did I grow up listening and playing Shadows tunes and have written many many songs, I have been playing guitar for 20 years and drums for 50 years and was a professional musician for 15 years. What exactly can you play/write... Why don't you let us see it?
Quality, aint overly high, it sounds fantastic when streamed through youtube, yes, however, when i play it on my music player, its not to the same standards as say, KOC. It might be me, might be my PC but there is a subtle hint of an almost .wav format coming across (onkly not that bad), and the size isnt too big for 1.54 seconds
@DarkFlamage The shadows version is nothing compared to this. Their version sounds really basic while this version sounds more full and fleshed out. The sound quality is better too, but that's expected when you have a song from 1960 compared to something much more recent.
@seafoodgar You're gona have to go P2P on that one. Either that or try and find every single muse has released this far. That's where you find them. That and japan and french releases of LPs.
awesome. ppl. google 'media converter' then enter the vid url at that site and u can download the vid or the sound. --oops. vid owner, if u didnt want ppl to kno, u can always delete this :-) --
Seriously reading some of these comments makes me want to gag. The 2nd law is one of their best albums! If u don't like their live performances nowadays then your obviously really deluded. Listen to explorers, change your mind before you end up looking more like a fool
I love every Muse album except for 2nd Law, including Resistance and Simulation Theory, but I do think that Madness, Follow Me, and Save Me are all terrible songs.
Absolutely love finding these hidden gems thanks to auto-play. Never would've known Muse did this if it wasn't for auto-play.
@לביא גלזמן Ya know me, you can find me in pretty much every Muse comment section.
They released it on cd but you could only buy it with an NME magazine back in 2007. They literally did it so they could play it once at Wembley stadium on the first day. The 2nd day they replaced it with forced in and never played it again I don’t think
Wow...great cover.
Nice to see the younger generation appreciating Hank in their own way.
Well Matt Bellamy's dad was in The Tornados of 'telstar' fame so he'd be exposed to a lot of music from that era
Muse fan since 2009, HOW AM I JUST FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS
ahahahaha same
because you're not a Muser
Oh, I feel like I'm part of the elite finding all these extremely rare songs that date back to pre-Showbiz.
The Great Sloth Lord
This was recorded in 2007.
respect to Muse this is pretty good
+Steve Reynolds It's a cover, maybe you dont know it :3
@@julianarrebola8338 Yeah, but it's a good one.
@@mentalselfthink3332 3 years later, i still love this cover jajajajajaa
@@julianarrebola8338 Haha, i recently discovered but i think i'll love it for years too
@@mentalselfthink3332 The MUSE magic

Matt’s dad: “listen hear you piece of shit”
I love this song and it sounds like it should be a theme song for the 11th Doctor
Carolina Coreas and in The Crown they used it for Matt Smith
Omg. I grew up with The Shadows. And now, my all time fave band did this.... THE HYPE IS REAL.
was brought up on shadows from my dad, and now my daughter loves muse, guess this is because of the tornadoes, George bellamy thing but its nice to see muse transcend through 3 generations
Wow just found this through the nightwalk poll, never knew it existed
I’m here from his top 10 worst Muse songs vid. Ngl I actually like this one.
@@starjumper Here from that too!! And there I was thinking I knew all the Muse songs! :)
Yay!
I can’t believe it was ranked so low! I love it
Sounds like Pulp Fiction tracks. Amazing.
This is quite impressive! Great shadows cover
Great cover of a Shadow's classic by the hottest and most talented band in the world, currently.
SOunds like its used in a Terentino
ProfDrMau Yes.
Wow.. .i thought this was going to have vocals in this, not an instrumental. Awesome!
Excellent!! Wasn't expecting it to be that good
This is the best Man of Mystery)
Can't agree more! Especially the noisy bridge
Badum tsss
I prefer the shadows version 💙
YARR! I will someday find all these rare muse tracks!
Can't stop listening to it xD got the same feeling when I'm listening to the original xD
OMG BEAUTIFUL COVER!
Love it!!!
Great upload and great cover. Thanks.
only just heard for the first time and I have been a muser for 9 years!
one of those very few covers that actually sounds better than the original. Fantastic job.
FABULOUS COVER
Yes it does. Listen to the bass lines and drumming, as well as the guitar. Good version.
brilliant cover
Love Hank Marvin and the Shadows...Thx Muse for this cover..Refreshing

Maravillosa música.

Buscando joyas perdidas de muse y me topo con con esta belleza
Great song! I love Muse!!
Those who stand for nothing fall for anything
well I love The Shad's and have done for years but I really like this version!
This was actually really amazing
Got my thumbs up mate!
love it....no other words..just that...
I know they've aready paid tribute to it, but considering Matt's father was in the band, I'd love to hear a Muse cover of Telstar
George Bellamy wasn’t in the shadows…?
yeah nice version respect!!
It's The 2nd Law. And they are amazing live... they've gotten much better at performing, in fact.
Its was made by the shadows but recorded by muse whilst on tour - they recorded it the day they decided to play it - it was recorded on a laptop hence the poorer quality
Awesome!!
Love this! .)
Love!!!❤❤
Oh thank GOD.
un hommage aux shadows, le jeu est plus "hard" mais l'esprit est respecté, bravo!
YES
Good version. I'd never heard of "Muse"
awesome music

It's not just the guitar it's about!
@marieliciousful since it's rare, it probably was out on limited release in the early days of muse...
superbe reprise!
Just wanna say that its not a rare track, it was on a CD in NME.
nice cover, i want it too
Good cover!
Hey, in my opinion, the Resistance is the best their album, but definitely not the 2nd law. In Resistance they've got so rich, royal sound!
Wow this is Awesome :D
Its like a tango o_o great!
@greenmusedayvideos Yeah...this is the kind of surf and texmex music that inspired KoC a lot. In the same range as George Bellamy's Telstar.
I love the Shads version, but Muse impressed me. It's good. It's very good.
it sounds like the oringinal, they both sound very western and some of the riff are both in triplets like the start, and there is this other bit too
@DarKnightofCydonia Thanks for your reply. Possibly b/c I'm an old man, I prefer the Shadows version. Anyhow that's my opinion, but regardless, you do have a creative username that, as an added bonus, contains the word "Dark", so it's all good!!!!!...Thumbs up
@MeideC Real muse fans listen all of their music.
But, you're right, this one is great !!!
i actually loved the second law! my second fav!
@marieliciousful I found it on The Supermassive Selection..
... You're an exception....

I can imagine if this would have been the sound of the cover of a Shadows song who Syd Barrett would have done some time in his career
😍

just download it directly from youtube

nice
I want to watch a wild west movie directed by Tarantino and with Muse in the soundtrack of the movie
Ya se que es un cover pero también me recuerda a marmalade de system of a down
Well, it's a cover, so they can play it however they want to play it. Like with most things Muse does, I like it.
I love this song. Is it copyrighted? Can I use it for a video?
good song-this studio version vs live: per sound Q perfecto, though live is fun.
@MeideC
you sir, are epic
well it will be the best thing to ever happen to you if you checked their music out a little more.
i do enjoy some surf music
anyone know where i can download almost all of these songs? =P
Is this on a B-Side? One of thier first recordings? How can i get his?

they have no idea what they are talking about. MUSE does what they want, and I want them to do just that......I love their eclectic world of tunes
No, just listen to Survival and you are in love.
