saw that muse had a song called execution commentary, assuming "oh its going to be political commentary about the silencing of dissidents and opinions" instead i got "(confused screaming)"
0305030 (psycho) riff... "Alright we're gonna write an entire song about this tiny riff and add a nice lil guitar solo and all this lovely stuff."this riff... "MATT CAN YOU PLEASE JUST SCREAM INTO A MICROPHONE, THANKS"
You just switched your point. you were saying they made Psycho through this song by the looks of your comment. I'm saying they didn't make Psycho through this song
Sorry, I was trying to say it's funny that they put a lot of effort turning the Psycho riff into a full song, but when they turned this riff into a song, they just added a bunch of weird screaming vocals.
I see the metaphor behind this song. The protagonist of the song is having a severe mental breakdown and thus commenting on... I don't know, raging blindly about politics or something? Yeah shit I think this song is just about Matt having a mental breakdown.
Just saying everybody, Please don't think they were being serious when they wrote this song ahaha. Secondly, I don't like it BUT it's actually quite fun too listen to lol.
waiting for that exact riff at the end to be used in a proper song holy fuck my ears just imploded, sadly think the days of those explosive and raw riffs are past but I still love them with all my being!!!!
The human brain physically cannot comprehend the sheer level of epic contained in this song, so it instead translates it to be hilarious. In other words, this may just be the greatest song ever.
I'm convinced (since the cover of this album has aliens) that the beginning of this song is an alien trying to convince the government that he comes in peace in his language. They imprison and torture him and as soon as 1:13 hits, that is very apparent. He screams in his native tongue. Amirite or amirite?
I absolutely love how this is a related video to my school project of a bunch of baby photos. I really wonder what the band thought of this after they played it back the next day. You know, when they came back down to earth!
Think I know why you cannot hear the lyrics. Because some people said his lyrics were rubbish, thats also why the song is called 'Execution Commentary'
@TheValiance A B-side is the other song in a single. Like Execution commentary is the other song on the Plug in baby single. It's also usually the less popular song (But not always).
I pretend cry and I want whatever you want give to me but when they die come on in I´ve been another who wants get out and who with me? but I don´t wanna baby, wanna baby, wanna baby ,wanna baby who, aaaaarrgh There every dog will have it´s day everybody, somebody, everybody, get out, everybody somebody, I want get out, everybody get out,everybody... aargh get out why why-jajajajaaa, I want cry yeah, alright who why-jajajajaaaaaa pffff pfffff pffff I don´t want that what they there do oh-ohou THIS?!
What no one has figured out yet is that the lyrics of this are the location of Matthew Bellamy's secret base to plot against the government and contact the aliens REVERSED. Yeah. And of course, it wouldn't be Muse if they couldn't make such an important location sound so epic. ;)
Are there words to this song or is it simply Matt having a stroke and Chris and Dom having the timing to set up some mics?
+Griffin “GrifsGames” Noseworthy That's fucking brilliant.
This comment made me laugh so hard I got in trouble for watching UA-cam and not working...
@@revmeister007😂😂😂😂
I think someone forgot to tell him that distortion vocals means screaming/growling, and not literally plugging your throat into a guitar amp
Still better than Nickleback..
What a classic, truly a magnificent piece of art.
This song made me wanna start up my globally successful band, System Of A Down.
saw that muse had a song called execution commentary, assuming "oh its going to be political commentary about the silencing of dissidents and opinions" instead i got "(confused screaming)"
See even better than hoped
I swear they made this song just to use as the best riff ever after stockholm syndrome
"EEEEUuuuuYAAAAA YA YA aYA YAa YAAAAAHHHHH HaA"
Most inspiring quote, 2017
I love this😂😂 muse r they only band where this kind of singing is normal. I love muse
Yanno, with songs like these, it's extremely easy why people see them as one of the most lyrically diverse bands of all time. Absolutely stunning.
the riffs are incredible, the lyrics uh, need a little work
EEEEEEEYAYAYAYAYYAUA UAAAAAHHHHHHH WAWAYAYAYAA IOUAAAAA!!!
I can see why Matthew Bellamy thought that this was the worst song he's ever written.
It isn't though this song is amazing
Ben Wilson
Wow... I'm guessing you have the most bizarre taste in music?...
It's not really great from an arty sort of perspective, but its still quite fun to listen to.
+The Ethereal Paladin
For me this songs that are keeping my interest, because they are just pure emotions and madness :D
+Matthew Brady you can't fool us Matt. When is your next concert?
0305030 (psycho) riff... "Alright we're gonna write an entire song about this tiny riff and add a nice lil guitar solo and all this lovely stuff."this riff... "MATT CAN YOU PLEASE JUST SCREAM INTO A MICROPHONE, THANKS"
+OtterTot No, they always used that riff, they used it before this song in their performances. It wasn't just from this song.
I know, they played both riffs live as just riffs before turning them into songs. That's the point.
I totally agree with you. I think it is funny too. I wasn't trying to come of as mean or anything I was just trying to make a point ya know? :D
RELATABLE
+SuddenlyVee #Relatable
I just heard this for the first time, spent most of the video laughing.
Fantastic riff though.
I see the metaphor behind this song.
The protagonist of the song is having a severe mental breakdown and thus commenting on... I don't know, raging blindly about politics or something?
Yeah shit I think this song is just about Matt having a mental breakdown.
Myotic TeSeract now I see it too
So basically Rage Against the Machine?
matt can write a song like while drunk and high and still be better than all the Imagine Dragon songs
So true
This is actually, in fact, the best song Matt has ever written.
Just saying everybody, Please don't think they were being serious when they wrote this song ahaha.
Secondly, I don't like it BUT it's actually quite fun too listen to lol.
+Joseph Stephens mushrooms, mushrooms)
Bellamy thinks this is one of his worst songs he wrote so yeah, they weren't trying very hard for this one but I still think it's pretty good.
I like to sing this with my grandparents when we're sitting around a campfire.
I guess the fumes from the campfire would kinda help.
What am I supposed to feel?
+Demi Krueger Arousal.
Death
you're supposed to feel the blood coming out of your ears 'cause you forgot to turn the volume down
EVERYTHING
This should have been a hidden track at the end of Origin of Symmetry
I guess Matt's execution comments in this song was: "khgcfghfgvdfvrdtrfdvcreecfvgfnjfg (scream like crazy)"
The lyrics: [Indecipherable Screaming]
😂😂
I always thought it had a great meaning behind it.. how could Matt say it's the worst he's ever written?
waiting for that exact riff at the end to be used in a proper song holy fuck my ears just imploded, sadly think the days of those explosive and raw riffs are past but I still love them with all my being!!!!
this still beats everything in the charts :)
this is beutiful lyrics i can relate to this so much
Matt's vocals make me laugh so hard hahaha.
considering matt bases lyrics on what the music of the song makes him feel, the music for this song must have made him really pissed off.
Execution Commentary is BACK!
... :D
I've been singing this song all day out loud.
Donald Duck is that you?
WHAT! Did I hear someone djenting? 1:50
The human brain physically cannot comprehend the sheer level of epic contained in this song, so it instead translates it to be hilarious. In other words, this may just be the greatest song ever.
I would love to have seen Matt's face while recording this.
0:31 A rare footage of Matt saying "AYUWOKI"
Not even joking, this is my most played muse song on iTunes.
I'm convinced (since the cover of this album has aliens) that the beginning of this song is an alien trying to convince the government that he comes in peace in his language. They imprison and torture him and as soon as 1:13 hits, that is very apparent. He screams in his native tongue.
Amirite or amirite?
this genuinely made me laugh so hard, thanks!
I love finding muse songs I havent heard and Ive been a hardcore fan for the last 7 years.
That's it. This was the last muse song. I've heard them all. Now I can die in peace
if this is muse's worst, their best blows everything else away
I absolutely love how this is a related video to my school project of a bunch of baby photos. I really wonder what the band thought of this after they played it back the next day. You know, when they came back down to earth!
You don't understand it guys, it's a HARDCORE RAP SONG BY MUSE
That's quite possibly the single most brilliant idea I've ever heard.
I'd love to hear and see this live xd
Beautiful, so much emotion! Lmao

Muse makes anything sound awesome......
This will be played at my funeral

you can clearly see their influences from rage against the machine shining through here especially the guitar
Best song of all time

Gotta love Muse B-sides!
haha this is one of the most hilarious songs i have ever heard! each day i like muse even more!!!
Think I know why you cannot hear the lyrics.
Because some people said his lyrics were rubbish, thats also why the song is called 'Execution Commentary'
i think he was letting out his inner emotions
Where can i get the lyrics for this song? :)
Actualization : MADNESS
How exactly should I respond to this?
1:10 my friend
Beautiful lyrics
these screams are so awesome! muse rocks
One of the best tune they ever written
@TheValiance A B-side is the other song in a single. Like Execution commentary is the other song on the Plug in baby single. It's also usually the less popular song (But not always).
Jesus...That is one MAD song...
This song is wayyyyy better than all Coldplay's discography. Sad, man.
It's not lol, Coldplay is great. You probably haven't even listened to half of their albums
Most Inspiring Lyrics in musical industry
I love the lyrics on this one.
@TheValiance Ahh, I understand. Sorry for the mix up.
So THIS is what they play during a lot of their outros!
This is the man who writed "Unintended"
This is. Amazing.
i want to do this for my gcse performance
vocals of course
Anyone else here after the Q&A stream?
Q" Whats the worst thing you've ever written?
A" Execution Commentary.
@spagetti001 It was one of Plug In Baby's B-sides, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was composed at the same time.
Kind of sounds like that sound you get where you hum and hit your lips with your finger.
I pretend cry and I want
whatever you want give to me
but when they die
come on in
I´ve been another
who wants get out
and who with me?
but I don´t wanna baby,wanna baby,
wanna baby ,wanna baby
who,aaaaarrgh
There every dog will have it´s day
everybody,somebody, everybody, get out, everybody
somebody, I want get out, everybody get out,everybody... aargh
get out
why why-jajajajaaa,
I want cry
yeah,alright
who
why-jajajajaaaaaa
pffff pfffff pffff
I don´t want that what they there do
oh-ohou

I like the description: "...enjoy" xD
I just gone crazy for fuck... :D
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Muse Wiki says:
Lyrics: (indecipherable) :P
And people wonder why we love Muse
Execution Commentary is such a funny song. I love it. :) that's all it is is just muse having fun. :) good shit.
My mother used to sing this to me as a lullaby
Matt must have had fun 'singing' this.. :D love them
@SophomoreSlump236 Actually, around 0:33 you can make out the words "You're gonna die"
i couldnt tell if that voice was matt's until the HEAVENLY FALSETTOS
This might just be the best random screaming i've heard in my entire life :D
could anyone remove the fly from the inside of the microphone? pretty please?
Q & A Q& A Q & A Dont forget to watch muse at the itunes music fest in 1 week when it closes
The most fcked up brilliantly genius song by Muse xD! Love their energy back then
This song makes me smile...
:D
See, there it is!
only muse can turn a funny song into a song that is kick ass
What no one has figured out yet is that the lyrics of this are the location of Matthew Bellamy's secret base to plot against the government and contact the aliens REVERSED. Yeah.
And of course, it wouldn't be Muse if they couldn't make such an important location sound so epic. ;)
@naals95
The lyrics are:
(Indecipherable screaming)
Taken from muse.mu, but I think he says "Get laid" @ 0:30
