I found out in the comments of Adam Lambert's video to this song, that there was another version of this song, and I came here immediately to listen to it, as I'd been listening to Adam's version since 2009. I am not disappointed. Both versions are great.

They flagged it, and I appealed, saying that the usual copyright law didn't apply to promotional tracks released for free inside magazines, which is what Soaked was.
It was released on a CD that came with a magazine years ago. Just been floating around on the web since then. On the upside, different copyright laws apply to promotional tracks, so Warner shouldn't kill me too quickly. Hopefully.
Great comnent. Guiding light is one of the weakest tracks on Resistance which just happens to be my favorite MUSE album. It is so diverse and it utilises Matts classical education to the full

To be honest I strongly agree that Adam is heads above Matt as a singer but I don’t agree about Muse’s version. Adam gives it more expression and powerful, emotional feeling.

For me, Muse give me more feelings in this songs only than Adam Lambert's whole career. Yes he is a great singer but just that, and his version of this song is kinda boring for me. This instrumental they add to this song and Matt's Scream while playing piano is hit through my ear straight to the heart
