I appreciate that it is eco- and sheep- friendly. I do like that it is not like typical memory foam which makes me feel warm/hot while sleeping. Plush but not too soft is also appealing.
My mother was looking for a pillow top mattress, but maybe this will work on a regular mattress instead. She hates that memory foam sink and sleeps hot, so maybe this can be an option for her (once she gets over that price point). Maybe I can get one also!
I would have assumed the wool would make it sleep hot too! Thank you for the info. Sounds like this would be an excellent choice for someone looking for an eco-friendly option.
Like that it's breathable. The Eco friendly is awesome as well. I like the plush feeling. The wool pulling the heat away is a great choice for me. I definitely give it a try. Love the bouncy feel. The spot cleaning might be a problem.
Love that it is Eco-friendly, plush, and breathable. Good to know that the wool is thermal regulating and the Talalay latex is hypoallergenic and anti-microbial.
I love the idea that you get 100 nights to try it out before you make a decision. It looks like a beautiful topper for those of us who hate to sink into the mattress. Great info
I haven't been huge on the eco-friendly boat- mainly because I'm broke haha! I like that it's not typical memory foam though! It really does look responsive compared to mushy typical memory foam!
I really like this topper. I wish it wasnt so expensive. I prefer some a little firmness without it stabbing my pressure points..thanks for the info. Maybe I can save up and get this..
Try the pure green natural latex topper, much cheaper even with buying a cover separate. Plus 1.5 inches isn't enough latex to make much of a difference, most companies suggest minimum 2" - 3".
It seems there is no cover to come with, if I put a cover bed sheet on top of it, does it still take away the heat from my body since I am a hot sleepy?
Hey there - Well, there's no guarantee that it'll help you sleep cool, though the wool inside the topper does work to dissipate body heat. If I were you, I'd invest in a set of cooling sheets to really double down on preventing you from heating up. Additionally, you might want to pick a mattress topper that's extra cool to the touch. The birch mattress is better than the avacado mattress and talalay latex is better than dunlop. Wouldn't waste my money on the avacado mattress would be worse than the birch mattress.
It's really difficult to find a quality latex topper. Beds are typically too soft for me, so I I'm usually looking for a firmer one, not plush. Birch's seems nice for the right person though.
Idc much about my mattress topper being eco friendly, it's something I'm only going to buy one of, so besides the green factor, I'm seeing that it's breathable (thermo-regulating) thanks to the eco friendly components. If I have a topper, I'm wanting smth that can be easy to wash, and spot clean sucks!! And I'm also looking for pressure relief that this doesn't offer. The price point is also expensive & a one yr warranty isn't very much!!
Like the features of this topper with the good materials and cooling nature, but you could practically just buy a new mattress for near the same price. Why use a cover if it can't be machine washable?
Eco-friendly us not a selling point for me. I just care about how it feels to sleep on it. I think I'd rather save my money and use it towards the right bed.

Very in-depth review. Thank you for being so helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
The combination of latex and wool sounds so breathable and cool. As a hot sleeper, it sounds like a dream.

Love that this one not only sleeps cool but is eco friendly

Do you recommend this mattress topper for side sleepers? Is it pressure relieving?

nice topper. I like the idea of a plush feel
The Birch looks like a great mattress topper.

Great video! Thank you! 💙
Glad it was helpful!
Would this be similar to having a topper that has a latex base and a more cushy hotel pillowy down alternative like feel on top?
I'd love an eco-friendly bed that adjusts to my temp.. It sounds and looks amazing!
I haven't been huge on the eco-friendly boat- mainly because I'm broke haha!
I like that it's not typical memory foam though! It really does look responsive compared to mushy typical memory foam!
Never heard of this mattress but glad to know the pros and cons. Never knew that about wool either.
I like how you don't sink into like memory foam and that it is a breathable fabric!
I am in need of a topper, glad I saw this review!
I usually go for memory foam, but this topper looks nice. I like that it offers a trial period.
I like the Birch Living Topper has Latex & Wool rather than memory foam. It will def help to keep you cooler. :)
So you have actually tried this topper! What about side sleepers with hip pain? Would this help?
@@Tugboat-R-Us Yes, this topper makes a huge difference with hip pain.
Love that this is wool! Don't love the spot clean only aspect.
Which topper do you like better , this topper or layla?
Sleeps cool, maybe a possible winner for me !!!
I really like this topper. I wish it wasnt so expensive. I prefer some a little firmness without it stabbing my pressure points..thanks for the info. Maybe I can save up and get this..

Doesn't the pure green latex topper offer a lot more options for thickness and firmness compared to the Birch?
This may be a dumb question but when using these toppers do they go under the fitted sheet or are you suppose to sleep directly on it.
Under the fitted sheet
Any suggestions for keeping the topper in place on an adjustable bed?
Interesting, may have to strap down the corners

I need a topper!
It seems like a nice topper to keep me cool since I sleep hot, but it is too expensive for me and I prefer the type of memory foam that you sink in.
this thing looks so plushy, i want it haha

So amazing 😍
Big plus if a bed can adjust to my temp, I sleep so hot
Idk ab this one ayt all, I def need an actual mattress versus a topper
Like the features of this topper with the good materials and cooling nature, but you could practically just buy a new mattress for near the same price. Why use a cover if it can't be machine washable?
I don't like the mattress too soft have a bad back so i would need a mattress that's good for the back
Eco-friendly us not a selling point for me. I just care about how it feels to sleep on it. I think I'd rather save my money and use it towards the right bed.
