Chat has been garbage lately, ruining so many streams. All my friends and I have been obsessed with vampire survivors lately, it's a great game. Jerma just needs to ignore them.

A lot of people that use chat frequently are legitimately poorly socialized to begin with. I've seen so many times when people say "Go to bed, Jerma", and I think people like that have genuine, unhealthy, parasocial issues. Most people ARE normal, it's just the crazy ones are loud and use chat more.
You're right - it's easy to take Jerma for granted. But considering that he's just a nice person who avoids fanning flames and is (mostly) genuine, I think it says more about the crop of streamers out there than Jerma's saintliness. The bar is very low.

I got this game because of Jerma Vinny and Joel and while the pentagram is not exactly good (for the same reason the garlic is good- it's more important to have things that give you lots of gems earlygame and keep you alive lategame than the other way around) I thought it was funny finding out that the pentagram actually drastically _increases_ the exp gems you get once you fully upgrade it. Also pissed me off when I evolved my bayonetta guns and they got worse rather than better and started making a "time bomb is about to explode" sound continuously for the rest of the run.
Sure Vampire Survivors isn't as dynamic or weird as other games Jerma plays, but it's still a fun watch. Relaxing arcade-y action. I'd rather watch him play this than Elden Ring for one more day.

The skeleton character is by FAR the best one in the game because of his bonusses to amount. Getting the extra XP is pointless as it means you wont be able to evolve one of your weapons
6 hour long long play no commentary video except the mic is stupidly crusty and constantly on, there's just very little for background sound save for the guy eating thanksgiving dinner, so you hear metal plate clacking and occasional burps and accidental loud chewing noises, like lip smacking. At some point a webcam accidentally turns on and it's pointing just at the ceiling and it looks like someone put ketchup up there and cleaned up it one week too late so the ceiling is stained a tiny bit in red.
If anyone is interested, there is a game called Magic Survival on mobile that is the exact same. I know it's on Android but I don't know if ig is on IoS
People get weird once they've watched a streamer for around a decade and think they are "friends". Like people don't understand Jeremy still needs to constantly present himself and make a welcoming environment for newcomers. So he tells stories about himself that people have probably already heard after watching him for 10 years. Some don't understand its a "TV show" and not "hanging out with a friend" so they start to act like that weird friend you had in middleschool. These people tend to also spend the most on gift subs to get noticed and thus Jerma has to read their stuff out more often. All really successful streamers have "whales" like mobile games. There is a minority of people paying 1000X if not much much more than the average viewer. Parasocial relationships are wack haha

if you haven't played this game yet, you are doing a disservice to yourself by watching someone play it first. I'm so glad I stopped watching and put some hours into this game before watching. This game just released on playstation TODAY and I’m having a blast, so for geriatric old man who smells so bad the enemies die is my favorite, I froze all my enemies and stood inside then and I was invincible XD….that is until 29 min in where a bunch of bats pushed enemies into me.
They basically yelled out for him to stop playing Glover, he probably only spent like 20-30 minutes on that game before moving onto the next one even though he really seemed like he wanted to continue. That and it’s just very bloated with people spamming emotes and monkaS and whatever, just flat out being annoying

6 hour long long play no commentary video except the mic is stupidly crusty and constantly on, there's just very little for background sound save for the guy eating thanksgiving dinner, so you hear metal plate clacking and occasional burps and accidental loud chewing noises, like lip smacking.
At some point a webcam accidentally turns on and it's pointing just at the ceiling and it looks like someone put ketchup up there and cleaned up it one week too late so the ceiling is stained a tiny bit in red.
If anyone is interested, there is a game called Magic Survival on mobile that is the exact same. I know it's on Android but I don't know if ig is on IoS

Why is the chat so toxic?
People get weird once they've watched a streamer for around a decade and think they are "friends".
Like people don't understand Jeremy still needs to constantly present himself and make a welcoming environment for newcomers. So he tells stories about himself that people have probably already heard after watching him for 10 years.
Some don't understand its a "TV show" and not "hanging out with a friend" so they start to act like that weird friend you had in middleschool. These people tend to also spend the most on gift subs to get noticed and thus Jerma has to read their stuff out more often.
All really successful streamers have "whales" like mobile games. There is a minority of people paying 1000X if not much much more than the average viewer.

if you haven't played this game yet, you are doing a disservice to yourself by watching someone play it first. I'm so glad I stopped watching and put some hours into this game before watching. It is way bigger and better than it seems and a lot of the fun for me is discovering how big the game is. worth way more than only 3 bucks

This game just released on playstation TODAY and I’m having a blast, so for geriatric old man who smells so bad the enemies die is my favorite, I froze all my enemies and stood inside then and I was invincible XD….that is until 29 min in where a bunch of bats pushed enemies into me.
