I will never forget one night before bed i played a Jerma vod because they help me sleep tremendously. It was the vod of him dong online personality quiz tests and i eventually doze off. I wake up after a couple hours and look at my tv and he says to chat "Guys im built like a stack of shit". It was a very trippy experience i had to share lol. Good video btw keep it up Jermanite
13:50 "is there anything i can't do? i can't move, i'm stuck on a log." how is this man so fucking funny? how are every of his jokes always 10/10 hilarious, but always stealthy, like the more you think about it, the funnier it becomes. its like every of his jokes are just for 1 person to really die of laughter
I'll never forget that goat cheese story because the first time i heard it i was just watching the botw vod while eating and he starts going on this RANT while i start eating goat cheese just spread on bread. It felt so surreal and i couldnt stop laughing but also feeling so ashamed like he was my middle school bully pointing a finger at me and laughing because im the only student with a different lunch
1:20:10 jermas true, nothing is ever easy. not even eating, disability can make a living hell even the smallest things and the way non-disabled people treat or not acommodate disabled people makes it worse. me as a disabled person with disordered eating, autistic, ocd, etc every day is a fucking struggle, you have to do these things and learn and unlearn every day, every moment. i figure he himself as a disabled or neurodivergent man (idk how hed prefer) with adhd knows closely these experiences with "basic" tasks like eating, remembering, your passions and so on. and im glad theres people with this much of an audience that can voice that out because sometimes non-disabled ppl dont even think about that.
Teachers paid more --> more resources to develop interesting learning activities --> kids learn about shit they actually need to know, like how taxes work, in as interesting as possible to make sure they care vs. just getting shuttled to the next thing until they pass the grade whether they retain any of it or not
he really ate with the school takes. financial literacy is soooo important and yet! teachers are underpaid and overworked, and kids aren't getting the education that the US of A should provide as a world leader.
Jerma either doesn't understand that there is a large portion of people that want to massively defund public education or wants to pretend that they don't exist in such a large number
The homework shit is true though, if you dont know how to do the work on the homework, its not getting done, if you do know how to do the homework, its not giving you practice, its just making you do more of it, its NEVER effective
Its weird that so many political topics are somehow two sided, like 99% of political topics have an objectively correct answer, like abortion is fine, lgbt people should be allowed to exist, we need stricter gun laws, like the biggest points of discussion shouldnt have to be discussed, its either you have the right answer, or youre genuinely a terrible person
you are correct. as I get older, it becomes more and more exhausting for American politics to be a wasteland of people both-sides'ing very simple ethical issues. I think we're living through the aftermath of Americans receiving Cold War and Reaganite brainwashing uncritically, and now they think that sane perspectives are psy-ops when they're just unfathomably cooked on a generational level
They're two sided because those things are deemed problems worth discussing, and different people have different ways of solving them. What may be the easiest and most logical answer for you might be completely stupid to another, and nuance doesn't have any room in the discussion because most people hold to the statement "you have the right answer, or you're a terrible person." just like you do.
Jerma thinking he couldn't get 2k likes on tiktok when a random re-upload of his stream on youtube got 2k likes in a month. What's even more funny is him saying he'd be the biggest tiktok'er in the world right before he says he can't get 2k likes.
Jerma's takes on school are pretty stupid, gotta say. First time I've ever heard him say something I dislike probably. AND THEN THE GOAT CHEESE SLANDER? MAKE IT TWO.
giving schools more money to improve the education system so students are more engaged and prepared for life when they leave is stupid? funding the arts and other extracurriculars is stupid??? what????
@@fourside6505 Kids don't give a shit about taxes, if you were to attempt to teach me about taxes back in school, I'd actually fall asleep. Keep in mind I am an excellent student, am now in uni, but no that is not the time. I agree with the giving districts more money so they can better fund teachers, but the overall gist of Jerma's message misses the mark - it is what kids who did bad in school thought would make them do good, and simply would not work for them. What schools in the US need is a lesser amount of students in classrooms, and higher paid teachers so that they would care more and there'd be a reduced amount of teachers leaving and classes being taught by subs for weeks. Less students means more interactions, and better learning. Simply investing more money into districts would not work either, since they'd find ways to steal the money anyway, a lot of schools these days love buying $800 plasma TVs to display the same message for a whole year - why? It should be going straight to the teachers somehow, instead of funds that go into "innovation of the learning method." He also misses a huge point that schools have - social preparation. Making friends, dating, interacting with peers and adults, are all extremely important things that schools teach kids, but many people seem to miss that.
Teachers are the cornerstone of society. They get paid pennies, are forced to deal with student’s bullshit, and have to deal with their equally awful parents. They aren’t compensated enough when they are the ones raising the future generations. The students have zero preparation for the future, are forced into a system that’s far too old and hasn’t adapted to the current time, and are thrust into a world where all they were taught is meaningless. Jerma is right in every single point, and i will die on that hill.
jerma would definitely think that the thumbnail is unedited
Its is, I remember that stream
"THAT'S NOT REAL RIGHT?!"
i can literally envision him slamming his hand onto his forehead out of fear
but it isnt edited?
I didnt realize it was edited before I saw this💀

he's so real for buying the group nuggets, man of the people
