This game is the reason why I'm an experienced RC pilot now. This game was my first taste of RC helicopters. I now fly helis, fixed wing, and racing quadrotors. I owe my eternal thanks to this game for teaching me the basics and allowing me to develop muscle memory. Although I've destroyed numerous RC aircraft over the years, my love for this sport started with a this video game. I design and build my own airplanes now, and have built my first quadrotor. I still have this game, and pop it in every now and then.
And then we can watch the documentary that centers on where he might have vanished to, based on the videos he released that document his fall in to insanity.
He also appears in the game's ending, congratulating you for beating it and trying to give you his real R/C helicopter. Also, yet another EWJ connection by the fact that Stunt Copter's theme is the ending music of EWJ1.
I have food poisoning in China, and I am laying in bed in severe discomfort and pain and the skycopter intro just sent me into a fucking laughing fit that may or may not have caused me to shit my bants. Brb gotta check.
I was one of the few who has played the game, and indeed, it is really hard when you go outside of Rookie. The key to getting those points you need in those harder copters is pulling off stunts before you get points from objectives, since they multiply your score. Glad to see you covered a very, very under-rated gem of a PS1 game.
True. I have foggy memories of it since I played it in elementary/middle school but I remember also training in the low gravity and increased gravity levels was excellent in order to improve your control
Jesus Christ, all my yes! Nowadays all you get in a game case is a two page pamphlet that tells you how to put in the freakin' disk and turn on the system then buggers off.
ToastWings , Ahh, the nostalgic scent of printed manuals 😁 ... as long as you don't get Cheetos, Doritos rubbed all over them with drippings of RC Cola or purchased them used from a tobacco smoking household or otherwise stored them in a musty, moldy basement....
There's a lovely thing called email. I'm sure if you used it to email jirard, he may take your suggestion. But then again, it's HIS channel, and he makes the content he wishes to make. He doesn't have to play this game at all.
love the new logo, it really pops, stick in the mind, and it's informative since i could notice in half a second that part of the logo had the PS1 controller motif. very nice :D
My grandma gifted me this game when i was a child, i recall that by mistake i discovered a debug mode (or some sort of mode that displayed what i think that was technical information about the game) but never found anything related to this. I hope that somebody finds this someday
Why can't I stop rewatching your old videos over and over again. I have seen this one so often I should know it by heart. I love it each time the stunt copter theme is there.
*Listens to game music* Wait a minute... that's from Earthworm Jim, Who the feck is stealing th----- Oh, Shiny Entertainment made this game. Well then. Carry on....
Its not the only time Earthworm Jim music has been reused in a Shiny Entertainment game, Wild 9 reuses the CD version of "Falling" from Earthworm Jim 1 in its Beast Ride level.
Just finished the game and really enjoyed it. Eventhough I never flew an R/C, I can tell that the game captures the feeling of flying one pretty well. It gave me the same feeling I had when I flew my drone. It's a bit weird at the beginning, but after a some practice muscle memory begins to learn. After the first world, you should feel somewhat comfortable with the controlls. After the first world the game wasn't that hard anymore. There where a few stages, that where a bit tricky and needed time, but I didn't Had a problem with that, cause just flying around is fun even if you fail. Still here some tipps that helped me: - The critirias for points change every stage. Concentrate on them and forget the rest. - Use Captain. I found that the easier helicopters are weird to controll. The Captain is the normal mode of the game and felt way more natural than the easier ones. Edit: Just rewatched the video and it is noticable that caddy did not spend much effort in playing the game XD. He makes the game sound harder than it is. It is hard but not that hard. Normaly I would see that as a big no no for game reviewers (trying to sound educated in a game, while having played only up to 2h), but on the other hand he praises the game well enough and all his positives are 100% correct. He seemed to still get a good jist of the game. It even brought me to play this very fun game, so I really can't complain that much.
I need to say, thank you so much for introducing me to this game Caddy! I ended up buying it, loving it, and beating it within a few hours (as the rookie copter only, shh)! If not for this video, I likely would have never heard of this game let alone pick it up!
I remember playing this on a demo disk, back in the day. I would have been about 10, my older brother couldn't get past the first tutorial stage. I gave it heaps of time and nailed it, platinum stars on everything... Felt good, man.
My brother got a hover copter for Christmas but I ended up flying it instead. When you were complaining about the controls and showed your fingers you actually have to be even more carful with a real one.
Tjhis was the first Caddicarus video I saw when i randomly walked past my little brother watching this. Went to binge and subscribed and youre definately still one of my fav UA-camrs.
I just had a dream that I was trying to fix my brothers PS3, but the screen I got gave me lists of classic videos games from PS1 or the Nintendo 64 in the same console, that also had old dreamworks movies downloaded like Over the Hedge, but whatever. Anyway, I played R/C Stunt Copter for only a few seconds before I woke up, and that’s why I’m here.
I got this when I was 9. I remember drooling over the cover art. But MAAAN it was brutal. I got frustrated so much even though i'm a pretty patient guy. But I always kept sticking the disc in every 2 weeks and spending an entire afternoon on it, I was not going to let it sit on the shelf laughing and mocking me. It really improved my finger coordination and I ended up getting decently good at it. So much nostalgia. Has it been 20 years already? jeez. Thnx 4 the vid
AssassinatrGamr I didn't think this would become a topic either... I was just wondering why was he looking at vibrators and how does he know their worth...
Having watched your entire library of Caddicarus videos at least three times through, Caddy, I have to say, this one is at LEAST in your top two or three introes ever. I find myself rewatching the video just to see you shout "...STUUUUUUNT COP-TEEEEERRRR!!"
And given he's switched to your long videos following a theme then he likely never will. Unless he does a "the world of ps1 games I should hage reviewed but never did" video
I absolutely loved this game as a kid, I played it LOADS from about 7 til i was 13-14 with many attempts (not saying successes, just passes) with the campaign and a lot of fun just messing around in the free fly mode. It was a great laugh as a kid. This video's really made me want to revisit it, so thanks Caddy :)
One of my favorite things about Caddy is how he says he should talk about a game or movie...then just doesn't...for years. At this rate we probably won't see him talk about Wild 9 until the year 2020
I get that Jim's newer content is much better then these old vids but am I the only one who thinks him shitting over the content that got him to where he is now is a bit much?
he said in a reply to a comment on the latest video that he has a lot of underlying reasons for disassociating with these vids, other than the video quality. basically trauma and manipulation from other people in his life.
Me and my bro used to play this game for hours when we were younger, so I'm a little disappointed that Caddy didn't talk about the multiplayer. It's really fun, and the best part is that whatever player isn't playing at that moment gets to fuck with the other player in-game. You control a giant hand that blocks half the screen and completely fuck around with the other player, it was fucking fantastic. And the narrator talks about it as you fuck with them, it was amazing.
My grandpa gave me this game for my 6th birthday. I remember spending hours upon hours just trying to get past the tutorial. Sure, it frustrated me, but I guess it served its purpose-- It entertained me for weeks.
I love this video. Just like original Caddy. I felt your recent videos had been lacking something but this episode hits my novelty noggin right in the right places. good work.
Yay! some We Love Katamari Love! I'm glad you added that song in this because that is the best of the Katamari games with the best songs and best cutscenes !
Jesus it's horrible... Caddy you can't change the logo and keep the same background that only fitted with your old logo x) It could look good if the background was different.
"By now you've probably started the game up, taken off, and crashed within seconds. (I bet you probably did this a few times by now, you masochist.)" Whoever wrote this manual deserves a reward.

I still have this game, and pop it in every now and then.
Yo, that's amazing! Have you gone into professional RC racing, considering the context?
BRUH WHAT?
I can hear the Rayman music 6:07
11:32 how the f are you doing that
is this a joke?
Now I want The Completionist to play it.
And then we can watch the documentary that centers on where he might have vanished to, based on the videos he released that document his fall in to insanity.
I was just thinking the same thing... *laughs evily*
So, much yes.. Soo much yes!!
poor Jirard would die
me too
Some of the greatest instructions for the PS1.
*Gaming
+hussein25580
You have to admit, those instructions were pretty funny.
Don't forget the Home Improvement game!
+RowdySquid - Whose the avatar image of? I need to know for...very important...research...purposes. Very important.
+Goldenkitten1 The image is Astaroth from a card game known as Shinra Bansho.
*Helicopter explodes into a million bits*
Man: I think you scratched the paint.
I wish modern manuels could be like this one.
I wish modern games had manuals
+Reshiramax IKR
what manuals
Yeah true.
BAH. MANUALS 😂😂😂😂
I bought this a few years ago, David Perry, the guy behind Earthworm Jim worked on it.
Hey just wondering, did Ross who is now part of game grumps do animation for your videos a few years back?
He also appears in the game's ending, congratulating you for beating it and trying to give you his real R/C helicopter. Also, yet another EWJ connection by the fact that Stunt Copter's theme is the ending music of EWJ1.
And even then Perry congratulating was similar to TenNapel's congratulations for beating Jim 1's special edition on difficult.
The Maniacal JC
He did yes.
Well, what a huge coinkydink that Earthworm Jim is playing during the intro.
Man, that was an awesome game.
I have food poisoning in China, and I am laying in bed in severe discomfort and pain and the skycopter intro just sent me into a fucking laughing fit that may or may not have caused me to shit my bants. Brb gotta check.
I hope you're gonna be alright
2 month follow up. Totally shit my pants.
Did you die? :(
laowhy86 But did you scratch the paint?
This comment hits different now.
And here, the Legend of Miluk was born.
May he forever retain that long lost vowel.
I laughed so hard when the RC copter exploded and someone said "I think you scratched the paint." XD
Sorry, not someone, I meant Mr. Man
"Man, you dented the wing!"
2:22
''Tis but a scratch!
I LOOOOOOVE the new Logo!
It's LOCKSTIN!
Yaa Lokstin love ya vids
Reminds me of Chadtronic
Hey Lockstin you watch Caddy? Dude you two should do a collaberation!
it was made by jananimationstudios. he's currently working on some original animations and other projects
This might be my new favorite video. Amazing, just amazing.
RadicalSoda I love your pfp.
Hey!
It's the guy!
The Sonic guy!
Hey! It's JonTr-
RadicalSoda!
You watch Caddy? Interesting.
Hey this isn't caddicarus! This is....GRAND METROPOLIS!
I was one of the few who has played the game, and indeed, it is really hard when you go outside of Rookie. The key to getting those points you need in those harder copters is pulling off stunts before you get points from objectives, since they multiply your score. True. I have foggy memories of it since I played it in elementary/middle school but I remember also training in the low gravity and increased gravity levels was excellent in order to improve your control
Some of the announcer's quotes sound like things Brutalmoose would say to him... Just saying.
ZayZenBlaze Sounds a little bit more like YungTown to me.
Games like these make me miss manuals.
Jesus Christ, all my yes! Nowadays all you get in a game case is a two page pamphlet that tells you how to put in the freakin' disk and turn on the system then buggers off.
darknight910 I miss the feeling of getting a game and reading the manual on the way home.
Agreed. What you get now can rarely be called a manual. I especially liked the old full colour ones.
I missed the ones that have a little story section with character intros...
ToastWings ,
Ahh, the nostalgic scent of printed manuals 😁
... as long as you don't get Cheetos, Doritos rubbed all over them with drippings of RC Cola or purchased them used from a tobacco smoking household or otherwise stored them in a musty, moldy basement....
GUYS! PLEASE HELP ME, AND GET THIS GAME IN FRONT OF JIRARD! THE COMPLETIONIST NEEDS TO PLAY AND COMPLETE THIS!
they did vids together in the past jirard probably watched this
No
There's a lovely thing called email. I'm sure if you used it to email jirard, he may take your suggestion. But then again, it's HIS channel, and he makes the content he wishes to make. He doesn't have to play this game at all.
That's just cruel lol
Now *that's* a struggle!
God I used to love this game, played it with my dad almost every damn day. He was absolutely incredible at it.
what the fuck even was that entire intro sequence?
he was showing off his rad new r/c milkicopter
That is exactly what I was going to comment xD
exactly what I was going to say
art.
Nah, I've been here since caddy had 250,000 SUBS, but I caught up pretty quickly thought
That WAKE ME UP that he uses at 2:28 is cover by Bev & Bob
Blessed be your ass
Hey I like the new logo Caddy ^^
It reminds me of Chadtronic for some reason.
JanAnimations did it.
JanAnimations? Never heard of her/him.
Her.
"JanAnimations"... JaidenAnimations?
The R/C Stunt Copter Guy makes the Bop It guy sound like a saint.
you're a real human Breen. I Neil before you.

GIVE HIM THE MULK, JOSH!
No, he means authentic Bulgarian Miak.
GRAND DAD.
The title and the music at 1 minute in makes this video on of the most funny videos for me.
7:19 - I can't stop looping this part. XD
love the new logo, it really pops, stick in the mind, and it's informative since i could notice in half a second that part of the logo had the PS1 controller motif. very nice :D
Caddy should mark a special episode for half-a-million subscribers. It's not every day you reach 500,000 subscribers for the second time!
My grandma gifted me this game when i was a child, i recall that by mistake i discovered a debug mode (or some sort of mode that displayed what i think that was technical information about the game) but never found anything related to this. I hope that somebody finds this someday
nice video caddy, keep it up!
Bitch, the video was uploaded like a minute ago
+Scrawny McMassive don't even need to watch it, caddy is de best
not even been 5 minutes since he uploaded it, I guess you are in the future?
11:30
Well that totally blindsided me and made me laugh my ass off
What's the music?
Nice new logo, Caddy.
Also thanks for the birthday wishes, I really mean it by it.
Why can't I stop rewatching your old videos over and over again. I have seen this one so often I should know it by heart. I love it each time the stunt copter theme is there.
0:56 Man I wish I could be this enthusiastic or excited about anything. Only thing that comes to mind if "Scotch Whiskey."
*Listens to game music*

One of the stages in Stunt Mode/Free Flight uses another EWJ song, that being The Flyin King from the second game.
the announcer sounds like brutalmoose
Tacosauce allllllmost

Nobody:
My brain at 4am after watching this video: STUUUUUNT COPTERRRRR!
The intro is hilariously joyful
This may be my new favorite Caddicarus, good job!
I need to say, thank you so much for introducing me to this game Caddy! I ended up buying it, loving it, and beating it within a few hours (as the rookie copter only, shh)! If not for this video, I likely would have never heard of this game let alone pick it up!

16:00
With the *bleep* it sounded like "Fuc* the Caddicarus Show"
That new logo startled me. Looks dope, though!
i remember this game from my childhood.... i love the water stage, especially when you crash into the water, trees and well, anything lmao
I always loved how shiny entertainment always put a bit of humor into their manuals
Me too
I think shinny entertainment makes really funny games
Honestly, the best part is in the manual. "Watchu talkin' bout, Willis?"
Did Deadpool write the instructions for this game?
This is still my favorite Caddicarus episode.
My brother got a hover copter for Christmas but I ended up flying it instead. When you were complaining about the controls and showed your fingers you actually have to be even more carful with a real one.
Omg, I love your sense of humor. I mean, I don't always find it find it funny like you do, but I still appreciate it.
Tjhis was the first Caddicarus video I saw when i randomly walked past my little brother watching this. Went to binge and subscribed and youre definately still one of my fav UA-camrs.

Damn where's that WONGA clip from
It's from his mega man 8 video
I got this when I was 9. I remember drooling over the cover art. But MAAAN it was brutal. I got frustrated so much even though i'm a pretty patient guy. But I always kept sticking the disc in every 2 weeks and spending an entire afternoon on it, I was not going to let it sit on the shelf laughing and mocking me. It really improved my finger coordination and I ended up getting decently good at it. So much nostalgia. Has it been 20 years already? jeez. Thnx 4 the vid
So no one is gonna ask how does Caddy knows what a 2 pound vibrator is like?
Don't you mean two 1 pound vibrators (what a steal btw)
AssassinatrGamr Wait, he said it was two vibrators for the price of one?
+aghostshell two vibrators, which are £1 each. didn't think I'd be spending tonight talking about deals on sex toys, but here we are.
I haven't seen that "Wonga" bloke for ages!
Uploaded on my birthday and I watched it on my birthday (watched it again). Thanks, Caddy.
I think my favorite part in this review is at 7:19.
Same
You brought back memories that I never thought I have. The shiny show was one of those shows I watched as a kid.
Thanks for that.
3:06
And caddy never played Wild 9
Or Jim 2
And given he's switched to your long videos following a theme then he likely never will. Unless he does a "the world of ps1 games I should hage reviewed but never did" video
I absolutely loved this game as a kid, I played it LOADS from about 7 til i was 13-14 with many attempts (not saying successes, just passes) with the campaign and a lot of fun just messing around in the free fly mode. It was a great laugh as a kid. This video's really made me want to revisit it, so thanks Caddy :)
So with SGDQ making Pepsiman the #1 game on Twitch and trend on Twitter during the speed run, what do you think about doing a video on it?
One of my favorite things about Caddy is how he says he should talk about a game or movie...then just doesn't...for years. At this rate we probably won't see him talk about Wild 9 until the year 2020
6:34 *THE GAME DOES NOT CARE*
This is truly the Dark Souls of RC copters games
Eyy
How did this comment get two likes?
MALK!
Five now
+Snickering Tortoise Now my comment has two likes and the original has... 18 LIKES! HOW?
I honestly don't know.
I am legit watching this in the night time. And also noght time for Caddy. Nice immersion there, mate.
Pundland sells vibrators? Why hasn't Ashens reviewed them, yet?
Thank you for making this video. I seriously love it. I have to keep rewatching it
I adore the new logo, vut it may need a bit more polish to interrogate the logo in your thumbnail. Except for that well done.
*but*
+Jeremy Bosco Thank you for saying that in a polite way .:D
+Jeremy Bosco WHERE'S THE BODY, LOGO??? WHERE'S THE FUCKING BODY?????
+Smol Chara What are you talking about?
>"interrogate the logo" ;D
Okay. This Wonga Guy has opened up a whole new world of UA-cam vids for me. Thanks Caddy old bean.
So much Rayman music in this... I'm so glad you made a video on that later! Now I can go play it.
2:27 full track or it didn't happen
Legends told of a UA-camr so great and so funny that the UA-cam space would change forever... Caddy, your are that UA-camr
Can I have a full version of the Wake Me Up Inside song in this vid?
Me and my bro used to play this game for hours when we were younger, so I'm a little disappointed that Caddy didn't talk about the multiplayer. It's really fun, and the best part is that whatever player isn't playing at that moment gets to fuck with the other player in-game. You control a giant hand that blocks half the screen and completely fuck around with the other player, it was fucking fantastic. And the narrator talks about it as you fuck with them, it was amazing.
I hate this sun burn, at least Caddy can help me.
hope you're sunburn gets better
You think sunburn is bad? Try moonburn... Owch...
What's a moonburn?
MrMcMechaloid So a Sunburn makes your skin feel like it's on fire and a moon burn makes it feel frozen. Makes sense to me. Very interesting.
+Ender Kirby Thanks mate, it did!
My grandpa gave me this game for my 6th birthday. I remember spending hours upon hours just trying to get past the tutorial. Sure, it frustrated me, but I guess it served its purpose-- It entertained me for weeks.
11:30 What is that song?
It's called Dan Dun Fuga by Yu Miyake.
I love this video. Just like original Caddy. I felt your recent videos had been lacking something but this episode hits my novelty noggin right in the right places. good work.
8:26 Father Ted xd
This actually was uploaded on my birthday! Beautiful. Thanks, Caddy!
R/C git gud Scrub Copter
I owned RC Stunt Plane.
I didn't even need to see this entire video to know it was going to be bad, but I watched to see the suffering all the same.
That new logo is sexy…well I mean your old one was made in cooltext lmao…not really any competition
I was literally thinking you should do a review on Wild 9 😂 phenomenal game
11:30 what's the song/sound byte from?
That song I believe is from Beautiful Katamari. Good luck trying to find it on UA-cam, because I can't
What's that song he plays in the beggining where he is whispering?
Yay! some We Love Katamari Love! I'm glad you added that song in this because that is the best of the Katamari games with the best songs and best cutscenes !
3:00
what kids show's that? holy shit i remember that
It's something from CBeebies, Let me go and find it.
Ah, it's called the Shiny Show...
oh shit hahaha
"Shiny!"
... could not tell you off the top of my head.
I'm loving the fact you've been using Katamari music a lot recently. Makes my smile even bigger each time I hear one!
What's up with the new logo
Jesus it's horrible... Caddy you can't change the logo and keep the same background that only fitted with your old logo x) It could look good if the background was different.
IKR
but don't know if I like it or not, it'll take getting used to
+Adam Shooter at least creepy caddy is gone
The new logo is HORRIBLE, UGLY and SHODDILY DONE
+MF1108R yep I'm happy with that to :)
"By now you've probably started the game up, taken off, and crashed within seconds. (I bet you probably did this a few times by now, you masochist.)" Whoever wrote this manual deserves a reward.
Is that EARTHWORM JIM MUSIC?
I'd love an Earthworm Jim game review, but I know it's not gonna happen. >_>
The theme of this game is the ending music of Earthworm Jim. The guy behind Earthworm Jim, David Perry, worked on this game too.
whoever comes up with the ideas for your intros is both mad and genius
I don't like the new Caddicarus logo.
Too cartoony
Fak u 🖕🏻
+Slan Dome rude
I don't like the new Caddicarus, Caddicarus art
Everyone's a critic.
Enjoy the new logo and loved the Katamari music you used for the part when you started free fly mode
