- This mountain has been on my list for quite some time now as it's a long hike until you get close to it from this side.
When I reach the ridge you can see a steep drop off at the left down to the famous lago di braies. Towards the end you can see the Rifugio Biella (Seekofel Hütte) which sits at 2327m a.s.l.
Shot on the Hero12 with the iFlight Bob57 and a 3300mah Lipo.

I just came across this channel. Your long range video are insane. I like your flow, your lines and also the grading. I saw that you habe the chimera7 and the Bob. I want to ask you… if you had to choose a long range quad, which of the two would you choose?

Depends...if you really just want to go long range then chimera7 is a safe call. The cool thing about the bob is that you can do long range but also handles mid range very well. Couldnt say that about the chimera...
So it really just depends on your exact needs. I personally really like the bob and the chimera stayed home on my ventures for longer than I expected now!

Great flying. I just bought the same quad and working my way up. I see you love to use the 3300mah. Just wondering, wouldn't it be a bit heavy with the quad + ~600g battery + ~200g gopro 11? Also do you do flips and rolls with this setup, as in does the combined weight make it a bit difficult to do them? Also lastly what range do you get - I use ELRS (Boxer) and Goggles 2 and lose signal around the ~600m mark.
@@BirBilling-h6n you dont really want to do flips or rolls very far out. You can do them but dont have the agility of a 5inch drone obbiously. ELRS gives you plenty of range - its more the goggles2 that will limit you depending on your region and wether you have the FCC unlock done or not. Either way you have to chose ypur position very carefully in order to keep the signal throughout the whole flight!

Depends on elevation, temperature and weight. With a hero12 and 3300mah lipo i get about 8min of flighttime if i do about 900m of elevation at 2000m a.s.l. which is pretty decent! But you can also get up to 12min if you cruise along without any elevation and warm temperatures for sure

@@lukeefpv never tried them no. I always want to have that extra punch when fdoing mountain dives. I dont want to see an obstacle and lose my drone because I'm missing out on thrust. Rather have less flight time!

Bellissimo video ! Io ho preso il bob con la 03 , solo che ho il dji remote controller 2 e ho saputo di molti che hanno avuto problemi di failsafe , sai se hanno risolto questo problema o consigli di cambiare controller ?
Anche se hai un failsafe, il salvataggio GPS dovrebbe salvarti. Per essere assolutamente sicuro, consiglierei CRSF o ELRS.
Sto volando molti dei miei droni con il controller DJI originale e ho avuto un failsafe solo 1-2 volte su oltre 200 voli. Quindi non è completamente affidabile... sfortunatamente.

What are the best controllers for long range flights with the bob57?
@@roguechaos7631 controller really doesnt matter all too much. Its more about what receiver you are using. The best options out there are ELRS and Crossfire..then you just have to choose a radio thats compatible with those!
@@SirMProductions How would I know which reciever I am using with the stock I flight bob57? I know it has the dji 03 air unit. would that be the same as ELRS and Crossfire?
@@roguechaos7631 if you ordered it from iflight you could chose the transmssion system. So it depends on what you chose there
@@SirMProductions I purchased the standard option without the ELRS and Crossfire. However if i purchase one of those receivers from another website how challenging would it be to install it into the drone?

No. In effetti, la GoPro11 è ancora migliore, poiché il bitrate non é stato ridotto e GpLog non funziona come specificato...inoltre entrambe hanno lo stesso hardware
