I needed to make a new aquarium setup / aquascape for my Kribensis pair as I could not monitor the fry in the previous overgrown setup. I love how this turned out and I think the cave structure is going to be great for the parents :)

Trigonostigma Espei are Lambchop Rasboras. Trigonostigma Heteromorpha are Harlequins. Personally I prefer the former to the latter. Beautiful little fish. I wish you luck with the kribs. They are baby making machines but I bet you have much more luck with the excess babies than we do here since UK has over ten times the population.

I got up to seventeen with an outside pond and garden. I had to scale back to 10 tanks. With a full time job I just couldn't maintain.

Loving the minimalistic look, good balance between the plants and the fish. Yes as we all know plants are excellent for the tank, but sometimes we need to be able to see the fish more easily. Can't wait for the next video, loving the content. 🐠❤️👍🙂
Through it’s simplicity this is a stunning showpiece! Very good choice in planting on top to keep the dark colours at the bottom. The Colorado sand is perfect for this tank. No doubt this will be a succes! 🔥🔥
Loving all your videos lately, your attention to detail is another level and you definitely have an artist's eye for what looks right. Glad you're enjoying breeding fish because that's one of the enjoyable parts of the hobby for me. You have a perfect balance between scaping, plants and fish in my opinion.
This gave me some ideas for remodeling my Krib tank. It's been running for 6 months and no breeding. I have 5 rasboras in there too. I think they need a sand substrate and more caves. Thanks for the inspiration!

I had a pair of kribs many years ago and they are fascinating to watch!
They tend not to get on with lower level fish, especially when they have a brood so just be careful with that many ottos in there!
A perfect set up for them though!

Md, I live in Colorado and the sand from ada is just our river sand cleaned up, I use it in scaled occasionally. If you ever want some cheap just reply to this comment

I must say I really love this tank! Maybe the best one you've build so far! Makes me wanna copie it but that my beta won't like. I think those are the espei rasboras though. They look smaller and have more orange then the harlequin ones. But I have those as well and are a lovely schooling fish I wish I discovered them sooner! They really pop against those plants and love to swim with my Cory's when they have their happy hour.
Great setup, I love the superfish scaper range, have 3. My next will be a dwarf cichlid tank but probably borelli or trifasciata apistogrammas
Love the Colorado sand....not a fan of ada price tags, makes aquascaping less acceptable to people but.....the colorado sand is really great. I've used a 9L bag which has lasted me four scapes.and still got loads left.
I have like three different types of val in my tank, I barely remember what types. But I have this very thick Val that changes color at the surface too. It's quite pretty. It actually grows faster and better than the on the other val in the tank.
You just got me to make a gold shell dweller tank now your about to make me get some kribs lmao.

I had to put my Harlequin Raspbora's in my Guppy tank.They seem to leave the baby guppies alone.That was a good thing!!

I also want to know what is the title of the music starting 20:17 till the end, I really wanted to know for it really made me distress and would like to listen to it more often really helps with my anxiety and in calming me down :)

Lava rock is so sharp I would use smooth rock for the base where they dig around. Then pile the lava up on top if you must.
