This week Joey Giunto stops by and shares his amazing, weathered models. Mike Shares some of the latest auto models on the market. We look at models from Rapido Trains, Spring Creek with InterMountain and Broadway Limited. James shares his new grain bins in all scales he designed and 3-D printed. Steve Mantia shares old Marx E units in 3 rail. We talk layout design and much more in 40 minutes with many laughs shooting this show.
Josh you may have to wear safety glasses when you're near Ken waving the pencil around 😂😂 another great show guys thank you!
😁
Enjoying the new super cool intro - it’s h-a-p-p-y.
What an interesting show! I love all the eye candy! I love Joey's weathering tips! It looks great! Mike never let's us down @ the round table! I love James grain bins! Just outstanding! The models from Intermountain & Broadway Limited are just outstanding! This is "The Best Hobby In The World" I love the heritage jackets from Jelsma Graphics! "Laughter Is The Language Of The Soul" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack "Always Keep It On The Main Line" Be Safe! Rock N' Roll Forever.. 🚂
You always have fun on your show. Makes it fun to watch.
Great show. I love the shots with the model trains running by in the foreground.
The class of those Rapido reefers is Rr-56. The alpha part of all Santa Fe classes is made up of the first and last letter of the name of the type of car - Box = Bx, Flat = Ft, Tank = Tk, etc.
Love the intro. Mike from Ontario
Prototype Couplers picked up Sergent, Inventive Models started before Sergent closed. Inventive Models was filling in gaps where Frank didn't make certain ones. Inventive Models (gold) are brass couplers. There is sooo much going on!! Please see me for more questions. Thanks, guys!!
Thanks for the extra information! Is there a website for these?
@@mikebudde2570 UA-cam won't let me post website information. Please send me an email.
Thank you for another brilliant show 🙂
Another great show!!
Prototype Couplers and Inventive Models are the makers of the couplers. The Inventive Models couplers are brass.
Great show. I do have a Rapido reefer as well Great car, just had to change the reporting marks to SFRP since I model the early 70's.
Great show!
The scrap steel gondola was awesome.
hello Ken & Josh & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Ken & Josh & Friends Randy
Josh tell Ken to get a pencil like Johnny Carson used to have. Johnny Carson had eraser on both ends of the pencil. It's fun and games till someone gets their eye poked out😂.
My favorite part was the trains and talking about trains and seeing train cars and train engines, plus train news oh and train embroidery and I mustn't forget about the Corvette, cars and trucks either. The rest was OK too.
Those Western Pacific diesels have a livery that closely resembles the NSWGR 125th Anniversary livery on the 42 class (GM Bulldog style carbody similar to the E8 or E9 with 2 portholes either side of engine room door on both sides) right down to the thin Red stripe separating the green and yellow. 😎🇦🇺
We are going to convert to Inventive Models couplers on our fleet. No more slack action or unwanted train selections.
[thank, you for youre great video]👍👍
Every time anyone points a video camera / phone at the layout at a show we have problems. Runs fine the rest of the time.
I have one of Dennys jackets, beautiful.
Nice show gentlemen...plenty of eye candy...my wallet is hiding in fear.
How can I buy a grain bin from James?
Contact Ken, and he'll pass it on.
Dealers are charging too much for railroaders equipment.
James, when you were in grad school at Notre Dame, did you ever come into Hobbyland in South Bend and see the St. Joe Valley Railroad layout???
I was mostly on hiatus from the hobby during grad school. Generally I was trying to concentrate on getting through the program. We stopped at a few hobby shops if we happened to be driving by of course, but I don’t think Hobbyland was one of them. I didn’t visit any layouts, unfortunately.
Are the store and club still around? I might visit sometime if and when we are back visiting.
Nope, the store went out of business and the club eventually did the same. Sad!!!!@@JamesRegiersModels
Please let me take a moment of your time to introduce a new/old model railroad craftsman, Bob Frey dba: Centerpiece Rolling Stock. Please research his web site and view his custom weathered rolling stock and engines! Been in business over “20” years! Weathered over 2,000 units. Thanks!
Didn’t see pictures of the couplers. Nor of the mini prints.
Shoeee... Doggy, INFLATION!
My wallet is hurting buying cars last week.
