Falco's Rooster Boot | My thoughts after 6 months of use

- I purchased a set of Falco's Rooster Boot from their Heritage Classic Range.
I dropped down 1/2 size and as my usual size was just a bit too big.
The boot is waterproof although not tested in anger!
Nice looking boot, comfortable on\off the bike.
Purchased from my local high street motorcycle shop, £174.99.
They are now my go to boot for day to day use and look great off the bike too.

I bough mine heavy duty boot reinforced ankle area from xl moto during a sale promotion 75€ really good zipper down side as well very comfortable. The loops to pull on I always get longer tabs to pull on . Yes importante to wear proper gear 👍💪🏼 ride safe
I have a pair and wear everyday. Waterproofing is good, but as time goes on the lining inside the boots broke down which impacted on waterproofing. Some stitching came undone but local cobbler could fix for less than 10 euro. Got a quote of 75euros to replace the soles with new Vibram. All in great comfortable tough boots that can put up with a lot of abuse. Also just use them as my daily wear boot also used for hiking, work boots and can't complain.
You almost had me sold on these until you demonstrated how flexible the footbed is. I think a more substantial construction would be more durable and would provide more protection.
I wear mine when I am riding the 1250gs or speed twin. You wear what you’re comfortable with from a protection point of view. these casual boots will always be a compromise. a motocross boot would be the ultimate non flexible sole but no good for walking off the bike. oh well , at least the video has helped you take one boot off your list. shame as they are really good. even wear them for dog walking when it’s chucking it down. ride safe and good luck in your quest. 👍👍

After watching your video, I thought I would try and purchase, not having much look due to poor availability unless you want to pay £230 plus. I am also size 8 (42) so unsure what to do ? Buy online and guess the size or look elsewhere. J and S are stating they have 7.5 or 9 available to order from the warehouse only.
Hi Steve, if they are returnable, I would try the 7.5 , with a thin sock you may be ok .
